I had an appointment for today at 11am got there at 10:30. Made the drive from Corona area. No one arrived and no answer, we waited for 20 mins after 11. I wish I would've stuck with my gut instinct and not wasted my day going to a place that ghosts people trying to have a venue for a special occasion. read more

No stars!!! Wrote a previous review that was only for the the 2 waiters that were helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with this venue was very disappointing. Communication was poor, and several promises that were made were not followed through on. The staff was not as helpful or organized as expected, which added unnecessary stress to what should have been a special event. For the amount paid, I expected much better service and professionalism. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and makes improvements for future clients. read more

We hosted our New Year's Eve party at The Velvet Rose! It's not easy finding a reasonably priced venue for 300 people that includes dinner. We were thrilled to find The Velvet Rose. Dinner was delicious, the ambiance and venue is beautiful. We were looking for somewhere we could afford that was classy. There is also plenty of private parking at the venue which is huge plus. It was great working with Jeff from start to finish. We were so happy with our experience we have already booked another party here this year! read more

We were late to the game to find a venue for our daughter's sweet sixteen. After looking at several venues, we came upon the Velvet Rose. We loved the location and it has its own parking lot which is huge! What sold us on the venue was Jeff the owner. We met with him and he was so accommodating. Prior to our event our coordinator was able to set up and the event turned out fantastic. They have a walk in fridge to drop off drinks, a large bar and outdoor patio. The venue was clean and they were not pushy on us getting cleaned up at the end of the night. Jeff was communicating with me prior and post event. Our daughter had a great time. read more

This was a lovely event space for my friend's birthday party. Her husband hosted a formal dinner and dancing soirée to celebrate his Queen's 54th! There was a large band with horns and drums and guitars and backup singers and lead singers. It was a huge dance floor between the band and dinning tables. It was easy to walk through and between tables which was nice. The traffic flow for dinner and to desserts and coffee was spread throughout and there was never any congestion of people. It's tucked away with plenty of parking as well. read more

(FOOD POISONING) I was there celebrating a 15 and I would say it was quite an experience. The bartender had an attitude and wasn't even wearing gloves while she was touching EVERYTHING. For the time being I was there, I didn't see her wash her hands. All staff didn't seem to welcoming except for this one gentlemen I didn't get his name. Food was very cold and very bland. The Costco pizza they brought in was more flavorful than the food they were serving. For having a nice venue to serve terrible food is not a good look! Around 8PM I started feelings stomach pain and nausea while being at the venue to this day I believe I got sick from their food and terrible safety guidelines. read more

This venue is definitely a hidden gem. I was the florist for this wedding, the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. These pictures were taken as I was setting up the centerpieces. They have a beautiful photo booth that comes with the package of booking the venue. Honestly I wish I was getting married already so I can have my reception here. It's very beautiful. The Velvet Rose has an amazing chandelier over the dance floor, has an inside water feature, and a bride suite. ‍ I would definitely recommend this place for my family and friends. We rented this venue and were promised a lot and received very little, we had a large party to celebrate my nieces 15th birthday, Robert (the guy in charge) was rude and made the other 2 servers do everything. If you want a good event with good service this is not the place the bathrooms were not functioning and things were a mess! Amy (the bartender) went above and beyond trying to help with everything while being the only bartender for the entire event! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Unfortunately, we booked this venue for my sisters wedding and were promised a lot of things that never happened. We were approved to use the bridal suite to get ready and it was infested with ants. There are french doors with windows that lead to the back garden and as our bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready there was a construction group right outside the door working on things. There was no notice given to us that there would be a group of men doing work right outside the bridal suite as we were all getting ready. This was extremely uncomfortable. The bathrooms didn't have enough supplies, the toilets didn't work, and there were roaches. The fountain in the main dinning area had a roach floating in it the entire night. Jeff was advised of these things and was absolutely no help. The bar was not set up properly and the bartender never showed up. Everything was so unorganized which was not only disappointing but extremely stressful for the bride and groom on their special day. read more

Great venue!! It was really challenging to find a location that would allow me to have my baby shower on a Saturday at a reasonable price. Most places wanted to charge the same as a wedding. The Velvet Rose was flexible and accommodating and did all they could to make sure the event was a success!! I will use them in the future and recommend them for others. If I could give 10 stars! I would. We recently had our wedding in this venue and let's say we got our moneys worth! Jeff(owner) made sure we got a FAIR!! Deal...he not only provided us with a lot of information but he was always available to answer questions. Susan (wedding coordinator) made our dream wedding come true by not only giving us what we wanted in decor but by guiding us through the process and making sure our day went with no problem.
