I met with Dr Jayne Dabu for my initial consultation, she was very personable and thorough. And gave me a lot of hope they would be able to help me . My treatments have been with Dr Bayer and he has been fantastic. Again asking lots of questions. Very thorough. Has a very calming and encouraging way about him . Even Amanda at the front desk is super friendly and helpful . I am already feeling a difference after only a few treatments. And look forward to many more.

I paid the $97 and came in for my appointment and was told over the phone no paperwork necessary due to no insurance is accepted. The receptionist hands me a psychological paperwork ( the 30 minute questionnaire to complete asking you the SAME question just reworded several times!) Save your money, do your own Lab test with primary doctor & avoid this place and save your money!

This care incorporates Body, Mind, and Spirit, something that we all need for health and longevity. The staff is knowledgeable, understanding, and very caring. I highly recommend the health support and care with Doctor Lex at Vitality Functional Medicine, she has vast natural knowledge and experience. Mixing the functional medicine and traditional care works for my health plan. I know that Vitality Functional Medicine can allow you to see health benefits, too!

Contacted the office 21 hours in advance as soon as I knew our flight was being pushed back 6 hours. Their response was "due to their policy my $200 deposit is forfeited." No consideration was given due to the unforeseen circumstances that were out of my control. Sent the office manager screenshots of my location so that she knew that I was not anywhere near the area. If this is how they treat their patients (and potential new patients), don't waste your time or money. Mind you I had two other appointments the same day with local small businesses that required deposits as well and the other two businesses carried over my deposit to the new appointments I made.

It seems the new rage in recovery and pain relief is Cyrotherapy. But what is all this cyro…read morecraziness about? I will explain more. Cryotherapy is a pain treatment that uses a method of localized freezing temperatures to relieve irritated nerves and sooth sore muscles. It can also be used in cancer patients and in dermatology. My son who is a year around swimmer has used this business several times for recovery of sore muscles prior to meets. It's difficult to tell if one treatment is enough as several are recommended. The manager Beth Cobb assisted me on getting paperwork complete I needed to sign since my son is a minor. Payment was attached so when he came in he was ready to go. The process is easy for a whole body treatment. Take off your clothing to underwear and leave socks on or they provide protection. They have gloves. Step in the tank and be prepared for nitrogen or in some cases argon gas to be turned on. Temperature can vary depending on height and body weight. My son had a freezing temp of negative 180° Fahrenheit. The machine has a range of around negative 150-200. Appointments are recommended and the treatment is only minutes. They also offer compression and other services such as anti aging LED therapy. Cyro prices range from $15 to $30 in the Hampton Roads area. There sale price was $19 an additional $4 off for students. First time customers can used compression for FREE! 4.5 rounding down.

Angela, the receptionist, gave me a tour and explained each package, the benefits, and purpose. Step by step she stays with you especially for first-timers. If you check-in you can get $5 coupon, and theres discounts for gym members, military members, and first responders. Definitely give it a try, one of the greatest investments is in our own personal health.

AVOID. MEDICAID FRAUDS!…read more Gloria is constantly changing appointment times, and has been late to EVERY appointment. This is not an exaggeration. I went to Charis Health to be treated for a mood disorder (which I'm still unsure of), anxiety, ADHD. I was feeling ok after starting a mood stabilizer, it helped with the depression anyways, but my life was still unmanageable because of my ADHD. Gloria tried a non-stimulant medication after I told her I hadn't responded well to any in the past. Suprise, it made me feel anxious and awful. Her reponse? PROVIDE NO TREATMENT AT ALL. I went downhill fast and became very depressed/suicidal, so I was prescribed Adderall by my other doctor, who is now unable to prescribe it (company change, policy change.. nothing to do with me). Gloria told me she would be comfortable prescribing "something like Vyvanse". Adderall has changed my life, but I was willing to work with her. I did everything she asked. Now two months later she is refusing to prescribe. It seems so unethical to me that you would refuse first-line treatment to a patient, especially if they're doing so well on the medication. Finals are coming up and I start an internship next week. I risk losing everything to this lazy woman, who can't even make her appointments on time! They are just leeching money off Medicaid patients, they don't care about your well-being at all. Also, she tried to gaslight me and tell me I was making HER words up. I did everything she asked just for her to miss appts and go back on her words. She wasted two months of my life, that I could be finding quality care! This is MY LIFE you are putting at risk, you heartless, unprofessional, unethical, thief! Why are you even in this field? Please heed the bad reviews! They will put themselves first and toss you around while they collect from your insurance.

The forms were confusing and honestly looked like they should have been filled out by a medical provider NOT a patient (cranial assessment, jaw assessment, etc). I finally gave up out of frustration and canceled the appt because there were just too many hoops to jump through. Today I received a $50 bill for a canceled appt. Are you kidding me? Mental health is such a delicate area of medicine and this business is treating patients like garbage.

I was quickly greeted by the friendly lady working at the front desk and let her know of the Gift Certificate. She asked if I wanted to purchase any Add-Ons but I politely declined. I waited about 5 mins for the masseuse to prepare and once he was ready, he beckoned me in. I've had a couple of foot massages in the past so I knew what to expect. I was given a basket to place my shoes and belongings in and placed my feet in the warm water while Ale, the masseuse, put a warm towel across me. He worked on my upper body first for about 20-25 mins. He focused on the pressure points in my head and massaged my neck and back. He then started on my lower legs and feet for the remainder of the session. I did ask for "medium" pressure but there were times that I had to move my legs a bit to hint that the pressure was a bit too hard, almost painful even. Once Ale got the hint, he softened up a bit and I throughly enjoyed the rest of the foot massage. The soft music, warm towel and dim lights made for a relaxing ambiance and I definitely dozed off a bit lol. Foot massages are beneficial for pain relief, stress relief and improved circulation, among other great benefits, so if you are experiencing any of those issues, definitely head over to Relax the Feet.

I booked online which was very easy. I had 2 Groupons which were no problem to use for my sister and I. We were early but they took us right away. When you walk back into the room, it is immediate feeling of relaxation. The dimmed lights, the music....it's so peaceful. You sit in your chair and they have a basket to put your shoes in. NO CELL PHONES! Turn them down and put them away! They soak your feet and you get a massage while that is happening. I definitely was doing the head nod when I kept falling asleep. The foot massage...the hot stones. It was all wonderful. And when you are done and walk out they DO NOT ask about membership or anything!! I was so surprised but they do text you later. But I love that they do not ruin the vibe. It's pretty much a $1 a minute. They have 40, 60 and 90 minute sessions. But then they have the big kahuna which is 120 minutes for $120. And if you want an escape from work they have them during the week, during lunch for $5 off the regular price. Highly recommend. I do have questions though - maybe you can help. What do you tip??????? I left $20. Is that too much, not enough or just right? It was worth every penny.
