The happiest place on earth also known as "Where Dreams Come True" can also be the most challenging when having to make important planning decisions. First-Time Disney Cruise Experience This was my very first Disney Cruise, and while I was excited, I was also quite apprehensive because I didn't know how the booking process worked. I had seen a video on TikTok about onboard credit promotions and decided to look into it further. After Googling the number, I was connected with Ms. Vicki Sullivan. Ms. Sullivan was helpful in calculating the onboard credit I would receive--$150--and she was able to finalize my booking based on the ship and itinerary I had already researched. That part of the process was smooth and straightforward. She also sent several emails after our booking, although only one or two of them actually contained helpful information about the trip--such as events happening onboard the ship. The rest were mostly promotional or generic in nature, and I wish there had been more focus on essential tips or cruise prep details that would've made a big difference, especially for a first-time cruiser. There were several key details I wish had been communicated more clearly: Traveling with Three: I was traveling with my two children--my 21-year-old daughter and my soon-to-be 18-year-old son--as part of a combined graduation and birthday celebration. I didn't mention that there were three of us, and assumed our stateroom would include three beds. When we arrived on the Disney Dream, we were surprised to find only two. Thankfully, the Disney Cruise staff were phenomenal and worked hard to find a solution, eventually offering a room with a bunk bed--something I hadn't known was an option. Birthday Celebrations: Birthday cakes are available, but they must be ordered well in advance--before the sailing date. Unfortunately, I found out too late and missed the chance to include this in our celebration. Photo Package: I highly recommend purchasing the photo package before boarding to get the discount. It's $40 more expensive once you're onboard. Also, you can cancel the package at any point during the cruise if you change your mind. Food Allergies: My daughter has food allergies, and we didn't know this should be noted before the cruise. She had very limited options the first two nights until the dining staff kindly stepped in and made accommodations. They let us know this could've been handled more smoothly if it had been pre-noted during booking. Dining Expectations: There is no dinner buffet--only breakfast and lunch buffets. The quick-service food stations (like pizza, fries, nuggets, etc.) close at 10:30 PM, and quiet hours start at 10 PM. Room Service & Drinks: Room service is available during quiet hours with a limited menu (chicken wings, nuggets, fries, salad, soup, and dessert). While sodas are free on the ship, they are not included with room service. You need to use the self-serve soda stations, and those are shut down around 10:30 PM. Be sure to fill your cup or thermos before then. I also want to mention that there's a TikTok creator who shares tons of great tips for preparing for a Disney Cruise. Their content is very informative, and I wish I had seen their videos before my trip--it would have made a big difference in knowing what to expect and how to plan. All in all, I learned a lot during this trip. Ms. Sullivan helped with the basic booking and onboard credit, but as a first-time Disney cruiser, I wish more practical and specific guidance had been shared. Going forward, I now know exactly what to ask and plan for if I book again. read more

PLEASE READ IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING CRUISEVILLE. As a devoted Tom Welling fan since 2005, I booked a reservation for Cruiseville within a week of hearing the announcement. At the same time, I joined the Cruiseville group hosted by the Vacationeer. I began to make friends in the group and felt nothing but excitement for the upcoming experience. As more Cruiseville announcements began to come in, I had some pricing concerns that I shared respectfully in the Facebook group just to have someone from the Vacationeer (Brady) delete it right away, not even having the decency to private message me about it so we could have a back and forth discussion. I read the group rules and confirmed that I had not broken any rules and that the group even states that constructive conversations were expected and allowed as long as they were respectful. A separate travel agent (Brittany) emailed me stating that they deleted my post because they thought it was best to discuss the issue privately. However, I responded to her immediately, and then a full business week went by and she hadn't bothered to reply to me. So, it wasn't truly that they wanted to discuss the issue privately. They were just trying to control the narrative and shut me up. Shortly after, the company made their last cast announcement. My friend, a fellow guest at the time, commented that she was disappointed as the cast announced had been in less than 5 episodes. Her comment was also respectful. She was blocked from the group with Brady telling her he removed her for "bullying." That was the last straw for me. I commented to a couple of guests in the group to share this experience. Within 10 minutes, I was blocked from the group as well. Both myself and my friend that was blocked from the group decided to cancel our reservations. This is a company that is relying on Smallville's hard earned fanbase so that they can squeeze as much money as possible out of us while treating us as disposable. I didn't really want to write this review but feel the feedback is hopefully helpful for training and others planning their Disney vacation in the future. We booked our vacation to the Polynesian through the Vacationeer. We filled out the contact form and were assigned an agent. It started off ok, they ran quotes for us and made changes according to our direction very quickly. Where things got a little wonky for us was around the time the reservation window opened and onward. 1. Disney Tips/Meals: We were supposed to sign up for reservations and wanted insight on which meals would be great to attend with our three year olds. We didn't feel like we received any suggestions or helpful tips of the must have meals at Disney. I thought using an agent would be someone who could tell you the ins and outs of Disney. After multiple requests, we felt like we were sent a bunch of generic jargon surrounding Disney. 2. Reservation Window: When our reservation window rolled around the travel agent woke up later than the reservation window opened. If my brother and sister in law hadn't woken up when it did open we would not have had the reservations we wanted. 3. Phone Calls: When we got on phone calls, our agent just didn't seem to be all there. We wanted to ensure certain things were communicated and taken care of and they seemed a bit spacey in conversation. We would ask the same things multiple times and it was if they were hearing it for the first time. 4. Stroller Service: We asked our agent to set up stroller service for us. Not only did they set it up to arrive a day after our arrival but they also set it up to start at 9am when park open is at 8:30. We wound up renting another stroller to use with our three year olds. 5. Memory Maker: We asked if we needed multiple memory makers for our families that were going together and were all linked in the Disney app. The agent didn't really know. She suggested we buy two. If your accounts are linked you really only need one memory maker. It was unfortunate to spend the extra money when it wasn't needed. Again, just didn't feel like our agent knew the ins and outs of Disney. 6. Reservation Notes: We made our wishes clear on our reservation and after multiple phone calls and emails we were told our wishes had been made clear to the resort. Upon arrival, the resort did not have record of it. The Polynesian was happy to help us. Unfortunately I had feared this and tried to call ahead of our arrival but if you use a travel agent you cannot edit your reservation or make notes. You have to go through your agent. 7. Post Park Communication: We got flooded with communications the last day/day after/and week after we got home to book with them again. I would have loved more insight and effort on the front end, it would have definitely lead to us booking again. All in all this was a 35k+ trip (for 3 families to go) and we had hoped our travel agent would be more knowledgeable about Disney. I will say they were very responsive to texts and they did send us ADA information for disability issues. The agent was very nice on the phone and in emails it was more that the content and follow through were lacking. I would not suggest using the Vacationeer unless you personally know the agent you are using is knowledgeable on all things Disney. read more

Kristin Wallace booked our vacation at Universal Studios and it was perfect! We stayed at the Aventura Hotel which is very close to the park, has shuttles all day long and allows you to enter the park one hour before the general public. Kristin booked the rooms and tickets to the park, gave us recommendations for restaurants and even reminded me to be prepared for the afternoon storms and to bring rain ponchos. She communicated with me right up until our trip and remained available for questions or issues that could have come up during our stay. Tiffany Miara was amazing! She was so helpful before and during my recent trip to Disneyland. She prepared stay options and included additional costs of the hotel (parking, resort fees, and the cost of transportation to the park if needed). We ended up staying at a hotel that was walking distance with free parking. Tiffany was able to get us reservations at Blue Bayou which was so great since I have never been able to get reservations there. She also gave us a guide of tips and tricks to plan our day which was great and easy to follow. We were able to get most of the rides and shows we wanted to do in the first day which made the second day more relaxing. Thanks to their "Travel Agent" Tiffany Lynn, my 2 years worth of planning was nearly ruined when she ghosted me and my family right at the 60 day mark. The reservations she promised she would get... she didn't even try. When my husband and I went to corporate, their Head Planner, Kelly Moore proceeded to deflect blame and try to gaslight me. When I persisted, she THREATENED TO CANCEL MY ENTIRE TRIP when I had PROOF that her agent was lying. We wound up making all of our own reservations and Kelly Moore and Tiffany Lynn are both liars. The Vacationeer is a joke, spend 30 mins on YouTube and you'll figure out how to do it yourself. Stay away from this company and their unscrupulous business activities. read more

The customer service is beyond horrible. They moved my accounts to a new agent with no coordination with me and no explanation. They were rude and threatened me with penalties if I didn't want to continue with the new agent. They clearly do not see the client as a human being but instead view each person as an account with a profit. I feel that something. shady was going on but regardless, I prefer to work with someone who is interested in how I feel and what I want to accomplish with my vacations. Twice I reached out to the company to release and they don't respond, just automatically relay to the agent who responds within an hour. We did everything ourselves because of her unresponsiveness, and since they own the booking we had to book everything through outsiders since we can't book accommodations with Disney directly.
