They moved it to a day when we had another tour scheduled and that tour was non refundable so literally the only day we could do the Colasseum tour was the day we originally scheduled it. I called the 800 number to complain and they were closed. I sent a complaint email to GO TRAVEL and NOBODY responded to me. EVER. My travel buddy called them and reached Lucienne and was made to feel that he was being unreasonable because he was upset about this. The cancellation was blamed on another company and NOBODY tried to help us and NOBODY took ownership. We had booked this trip many, many months in advance and this Colasseum tour was something I'd wanted to do for years it was my main reason for going. So what was supposed to be a relaxing fun trip, at the last minute, was no longer relaxing and fun, and isn't relaxation and fun what travel agencies are selling? Epic fail. Took NO responsibility for the failure. Have never heard from them to this day. On top of that, the travel insurance that they recommended I buy would not reimburse us for the loss even though I sent them the notice from GO TRAVEL that they screwed this up and they cancelled the tour, not us. The whole thing just kinda sucked. Make your own travel reservations people. And don't use GO TRAVEL ever. And be aware that in Florida, when you deal with travel agencies, on the morality scale, they are one step above the porn industry. Buyer beware.
