I dropped off a package at the end cashier thinking it was a drop off FedEx location. As the person that it was addressed to said they never got it, I went back to the store. They said that they disposed of the package because it wasn't a ups label. I said I thought you were a FedEx drop off they no and as they were busy I didn't wait for a receipt when i dropped it off. My phone number was on the label - YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE CALLED ME!! which they didn't do. Never trust anyone that works anywhere, they had my phone number on the label and refused to pick up the phone and call me that the pkg was for fedex not ups. read more

As a follow up with the Notary service at the Westwood location. I called and asked if there was a Notary available and if I came there right away, could I have my paperwork notarized. I was informed that the notary was there and to come in. I drove over to the store and when I went inside and asked to have my paperwork notarized, the counter person went into the back and returned to inform me that she (the notary) was busy and could I come back in an hour or so. I complained that I just called and was told it was ok to come in. I finally got my paperwork notarized after waiting for the person. 1- change your advertising to advise customers they need an appointment. 2- train your personnel in customer service, it is surely lacking. 3- go visit the Oradell store to see how nicely it's run and how well they treat their customers. I'm opting to drive past this local store and bring my business where it's appreciated. read more

I don't need a mailbox because I have one in my front yard...so I don't see the point in paying for something I already have. Also, my UPS driver loves to drive around and leave things on my front door....so I don't need someone else to watch after my stuff. However, when I do have to return something via UPS or send something out via UPS...this is the place to go. Give the people your package, and poof it's gone. I would definitely recommend NOT using UPS for any type of overnight delivery, and unfortunately, that would mean not utilizing this store as well. The people in this store are conscientious enough; it's just that if a delivery gets lost, it really winds-up in No-Man's-Land. This has happened to me TWICE, and it is not like I send out a package or envelope once a day, or even once a week. I do so MAYBE monthly. Early in the year I over-nighted very important pictures that were one-of-a-kind, and were to accompany a magazine article I wrote that was getting published. The pictures were supposed to get from New Jersey to New York City in one day (a distance of 15 miles). They never made it, and sadly UPS' response was, "Your package never made it." That was it, with very little further information as to what happened, and why. It just happened again last week. An envelope I sent never made it by the next day, or ever. "Why?" I asked. Answer: "Don't Know."And that's about all they know. Again, at the Westwood UPS location, they seem to do their job, and send the package out properly. It's when it leaves there, and goes to Secaucus (where my items got lost), is where the service becomes unreliable, and a nightmare. Never again for me; both mishaps caused me huge headaches. These people are so bad, it's comical. I had a mailbox for 4 years. They lost a piece on an average of one parcel a year. The last time, they lost two at the same time for nearly three weeks, swore up and down they could not have received them because they hadn't been scanned in. Then after I made a scene, the packages miraculously appeared. They even scanned them in with bogus UPS tracking numbers, even though they had been delivered by post office. Stay Away! My experience at this UPS store was very positive. I dealt with a very frustrating situation today. I was trying to ship a product back and the company had me on hold for almost 2 hours. Jeremy was accommodating and respectfully dealt with me the entire time while servicing the other customers with great professionalism and care. I recommend this location 100%. It is people like Jeremy that make customers return happily. Thank you for such a positive experience when it could have gone completely the opposite. read more

They are 20 minutes late or the hours listed on the door are incorrect. If you have things to do, I don't recommend coming to this location first thing in the morning. I am not the only one here either. Another gentleman with a very large box just arrived as I am typing this review. read more

NEVER GO TO THIS STORE!!!!! The owner is so incompetent. He depends on his employees to answer questions he should already know. He cannot even answer the simplest questions. Shipped a custom computer from this store last month. It arrived completely destroyed! Box was gouged, crushed and punctured in several places. All of the components inside were sheared from their mounts, as if it had been dropped from great heights, thrown, stepped on and bashed throughout its journey. The computer housing was cracked and compressed. Filed a claim at the store, which after weeks of repeated calls and visits for followup was denied. Package was inspected by an official UPS inspector, who while inspecting verbalized agreement with the recipient that the packaging "should have been sufficient," but in her report cited "insufficient packaging." To make matters worse, I had specifically asked the UPS store clerk if he recommended the package be placed in an additional box for shipment. (Not sure that would have really mattered considering how the computer's components were sheared from their mounts.) He said, "No, it should be fine." I even insured the shipment, but they continue to deny my claim. Using FedEx from now on. They were the original shippers and the computer arrived quickly, without any issues. The owner is of absolutely NO HELP!! He does not respond to calls. He will have to respond to the Small Claims action I am filing. read more
