The new owners have done wonders. So much cleaner and more organized. Great addition to the neighbourhood.

I was sent papers to sign and sent them back signed, same papers and same envelope. Neither was requested to be expedited. It cost 30 some dollars to send it to Toronto from Fredericton and $58 to send it back. When I returned to inquire about about the different prices , I was given an incomprehensive explanation which wasn't clarified after being repeated several times. Also the clerk was on the phone chatting while dealing with me both times. One time on a cell and another on the store phone. Avoid this place. read more

The owner who served me was not friendly at all. he was even rude to me and a few other customers i watched him interact with. maybe he was just having a bad day but based on my experience with him, i would not recommend or use ups services offered here again. too bad because i like ups. read more

I had ordered an important item online and the expected delivery was the following day (TODAY as I'm writing this review). My eyes were closely monitoring the tracking and refreshing the browser every 15 minutes. It's Friday so remote work was lighter than usual and so I decided to bring the work laptop down in the front room of the house with the generous sized expansive window that overlooks every person, car and fly that comes remotely near my front porch. Finally after what felt it the 275th time of refreshing my browser it had an updated status of "delivery attempt" and in which stated that customer not home and delivery notice left to pickup at the nearest access point. No knock ever came, no footsteps ever walked up my porch and my paranoid self confirmed no such existence occurred the front video footage. They always love to do this, whatever reason is on their agenda I would never know nor would I even assume. Can't and don't understand why you are paid to do your job and pretend to have came to my door on delivery attempt?!?! I called their customer service and lady on the other end didn't give a flying F about my concerns. Simply told me she sees on her system that they have dropped my package off to my nearest access point so I can go and pick it up. Despite her telling me so, my own tracking shows it's still en route to my access point so if she can confirm which status is accurate? She tells me to call the store myself then. Fine, I will take an additional few frustrating minutes to further do your job because nobody seems to be able to employed by UPS. I called this store location and nobody picks up. Fine, I will be patient and try again. Finally, someone picks up and doesn't care or has any respect towards customer service. When I asked if he can help me check if my package has in fact arrived at his location point for pickup, he abruptly said "no I can't". End of it, no further explanation. Really? How do you function in other areas of your personal life if this is how you handle a customer oriented role??? I further explained my situation and he said well if you called UPS customer service and they told you the package has arrived for pickup then you can just come in and check. Nooooo really??!??! Because I have all the time in the world to drag my two kids into the car and look for parking on busy Danforth and lug my kids into your store to potentially find out the package hasn't arrived yet? That's why I'm calling to save myself the trip! But you don't give a F and this is why I am never going to use UPS again. Litterally the worst customer experience I've had in years. Young women behind the counter gives zero F's in doing her job. She had her feet up on the desk scrolling through her phone and let me stand at the counter until she was finished looking at whatever she was looking at. Then when she finally stands up to help he she looks annoyed that I'm there, like I had interrupted her. I am now going out of my way to first not use UPS and also changing my pick up location should my next retailer use UPS. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Surly staff/owners. The store is always disorganized with packages everywhere - I'm sure stuff gets "lost" all the time there. When dropping off packages, they refuse to provide a receipt a unless you argue with them. I would NEVER use UPS if some retailers didn't make it mandatory for returns, all because of this location. "Head Office" needs to do a secret shopper visit here to get the full picture. read more

Well after waiting from the 9th of July for a replacement toaster oven, it just arrived today. Jul 31/19 I don't think I would ever use UPS for anything that I have a say in. I even suggested to the people that sent it, to think about using a different courier in the future. read more

I had to print/copy some handouts for a project, all my other options were exhausted so I came here. When I asked how to go about this the clerk directed me to the computer saying "yeah, 10c a sheet just print however many from the computer" so I did. Upon paying for this service however I was surprised with a nasty $3 computer "rental" fee, which I was not told about and was not written anywhere. It took me literally 10 seconds to print the 25 sheets of paper, and they stick me with a bullshit "rental" fee? How else was I supposed to print my paper? did they expect me to bring in my own computer and hook it up to their printer? What a scam. read more

I really didn't think it was possible to provide worse service than Canada Post at Shoppers Drug Mart on Queen at Carlaw but it has happened. Very typical Canadian, we pay the most in the world for postal service and get the worse service possible. UPS has found a way to make it even worse. UPS has got to be the worse life experience one can have. Clearly they don't care, look at the review score, no one has given them anything above one. Take my advice, if you order anything online and they use UPS, cancel the order. What ever pleasure you get from good deal you find on line will be diminished with the delivery experience through UPS. Ups should merge with Fed-X, the new name could be Fed-Ups . read more

I had to pick up a package at this location after UPS tried delivering it to my house when I wasn't home. I checked the hours and showed up a few minutes before they opened, on the off chance they'd be there early. I waited another 15 minutes after they were supposed to have opened, and then gave up, as there was no sign of them and I was going to be late for work. I went back again the next day, and the man at the counter was very slow to acknowledge my presence, and then quite rude/dismissive once he (finally) started helping me. There were no other customers in the store, and he'd been in the middle of a task that he could easily have paused and returned to after handing me my package. read more

I use their services at least once a month. Normally to print out colour open house feature sheets from pdf files I have sent by e-mail. Service is always fast for 50 to 100 copies and for the high quality paper used it is cheaper than ... u know that US mutli corp. Always greeted with a smile. Great service. read more

My package never arrived. I called to complain. I was told by the supervisor that it was at the discretion of the driver as to how a package was left not withstanding that I have My Choice preferences to come to the patio. So, it was okay for her to ignore My Choice preferences, it was okay for her to ignore the big sign on the door saying this door is not used come to the other door, and leave a slip on the door that is never opened, not give my husband time to get to the door. this is one of the more odious businesses on the danforth. it was owned by peter for 17 years and it was a great place to work with. i went there 20-30 times a year for shipments, had my business cards done, special projects etc. they always opened on time and they were always tip top in service. then came the dark days. a five star business turned into a shambles by a clueless, lazy owner. his first mistake was to save $1 an hour. he fired the number one clerk who ran the place with distinction, knew everything and was liked by all. in the 15 - 20 times since i had been there since the new owner took over i have yet to see this shop open on time. today i went for the first time in a year and a half. a lovely morning no big traffic beefs on the radio and by 9:15 i gave up and went to the post office. those times i have had to use ups and at first when i was giving the place a chance i watched this ignoramus take other customers in front of someone who was waiting and obviously first, i have seen him talk crappily to his workers and i have heard him talk back when a customer called him on his inefficiency. besides the chronic lateness he is also slow. i mean a staffer of 3 months could process a shipment in 4-5 minutes this guy might take 15 - 20. you'd think he was going to roll off his socks and use his toes sometimes. and it is not just me. i have stood outside a few times and discussed the store with other former regulars who all had the same complaints. why ups allows this kind of owner to franchise is beyond me. i will stay away from this place until i see a new management sign. read more

We paid for an item and shipping, then waited for two months while ups played pass the parcel. They repeatedly lied about having called us, and lied about trying to deliver the package. They have zero remorse for treating us like dirt. The company has less then zero customer service skills. Now we will have to take a long car trip to where the package was supposed to have set off from in the first place. Because the poor little dears just can't seem to find their asses in the dark with both hands, a flashlight and a friendly native guide. Save yourself a great deal of trouble. Never use UPS. Every time I have to go in here for something I steel myself because I know what's coming next. I've never had a good experience with the surly, disengaged staff here. You can walk right up to the counter and stand there and there will be not even a shred of acknowledgment until you speak up to ask for something or wait. I had to send a package recently and the guy behind the counter moved it along the counter and without a word turned away to do something else. I stood there waiting, thinking he was still processing the order, but no...he had finished without any indication and didn't feel like the customer should know that everything was good to go. Whether it's asking about envelope size or shipping a package or even just making an inquiry about the photocopier, it always seems like a major imposition. I've been nothing but polite and courteous, but every time I've been in here has been an unnecessarily negative experience. I realize that these UPS stores are independently owned so the corporation doesn't have much oversight, but man, are these particular franchisees a sour, unhelpful bunch. read more

Called to inquire about packaging. The guy literally hung up on me when I asked why it costs 60 dollars to put three things in boxes with bubble wrap when buying a box St home hardware is two dollars. When I called back and asked why he thought it was appropriate to hang up on a customer he said he was busy with people at the store and I said but you are dealing with another customer you just don't hang up that's unprofessional and he hung up again. I will NEVER give these people my business. If that's how they treat you before you even walk into the store AND BEFORE THEY EVEN HAVE YOUR MONEY imagine how they treat you once they already have your money. Unbelievable. read more

I went into the Danforth UPS location for the first and last time today. I was there to print two documents from a flash drive. When I walked in, I noticed that the copiers in this location do not have a USB input (and are clearly marked as not being self service anyway). I approached the counter and saw three employees (an older man in a UPS shirt who looked like the manager, another man, and a woman) sitting at computers. The woman asked if she could help me and I explained what I needed. She took my flash drive, plugged it into the computer, and printed the two items as instructed. She then got up and grabbed the copies from the copier and went to the cash register without saying anything. After a moment she noticed that I wasn't standing in front of her, and she asked if I had my flash drive. I said no, because I assumed I wasn't supposed to touch the computer. She came over, pulled the flash drive out of the machine without closing my documents or properly ejecting the drive, and handed it to me. By this point, the man in the UPS shirt was standing directly between me and the front counter, so I had to walk around him to get to the cash register. The other man was standing behind the counter next to the woman. He took my papers and another few random sheets that were on the counter and put them on a shelf below the counter. I told him those were actually mine, and he either didn't hear me or wasn't paying attention because I had to say it several times. He eventually gave them back, but did not apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience in any way. After getting back my printed items, I handed the woman 50 cents, as my 4 black and white prints came to 45 cents. The man who I assume was the manager then went over to the register, punched something in, and told me I owed an extra dollar for using the computer. I explained to him that I hadn't used the computer and he said there is a fee for the computer time used when printing from a flash drive. I told him I thought this was ridiculous because at most places I would have been able to just stick my flash drive right into the copier and avoid the computer use entirely. I also pointed out that I was never told there was a fee for this, and that it is unreasonable to charge a dollar for less than a minute of computer use anyway. He told me that the company charges him to have the computer so he is going to charge me for using it. I again protested the charge, and he refused to waive the fee. I know it's only a dollar, but it was a bullshit charge so it made me irritated. I told him that I would pay the money but that I would never be back in his store again, and he looked at me with a completely blank face like he didn't care. I am not sure whether to assume that UPS is doing so well that they don't care about losing a customer, or if the store is so strapped for cash that they actually have to resort to badgering customers into ridiculous hidden fees just to stay in business. In any case, this man was extraordinarily rude, and the whole experience gave me a very bad impression of The UPS Store's customer service. I paid the extra dollar, left the store immediately, and will be taking my future printing and shipping business elsewhere. read more

I stopped in here on Saturday, with one of their delivery tickets. The man behind the counter didn't even bother to scan it, and then told me that UPS had already picked up the package - return to sender. Lucky for me, I've been talking to UPS at length about some packages. Long story short, they had the package there, the man was just too lazy to check. I was with my hubby at the time, and even he seemed exasperated by the experience. I'm ready to stop taking packages from UPS altogether. I typically try to avoid the pain and suffering associated by coming to this location by asking them to redeliver. Incidently, my local UPS delivery guy is somewhat allergic to actually buzzing people whom he has deliveries for, noted by the plethora of UPS delivery notifications scattered throughout the building. Comically slow service. I have packages shipped here about 2 times a month to pick up packages and the service is always miserable and slow - usually have to ask for help despite clearly being next in line. I'm definitely made to feel like a nuisance from the moment I walk through the door. read more

I requested a document from the Govt. of Ontario that I needed urgently in Los Angeles. I e-mailed the store and told them of my urgent need and requested that they forward the letter to me as soon as it arrived. It arrived on Wednesday. They responded on Thursday that they had received a letter by courier for me but they didn't know is it was the correct letter or what to do. I finally called on Friday and asked that they send me the letter overnight for Saturday delivery. Of course, they use UPS as a shipper and that is where it went off the rails. I paid $78.66 for shipping a one page letter overnight to LA. It finally arrived at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. The reason? "Held up in customs", even though I saw on the tracking website that the letter had arrived in the UPS warehouse in Louisville, Kentucky at 4:05 a.m. EST. The biggest issue is that the "shipper" is officially this UPS store so UPS will not discuss this issue with me and Michelle and Nour, who I have been dealing with at the UPS store have said that UPS won't help them either, because of the "held up at customs" excuse. I recommend taking your business to a different shipping company. read more

It does take forever to get anything done at the store; however, as a small business owner myself, I try to support others in the area. There was a new person there who acknowledged it was her first week. Understandably, it might take slightly longer, but when asked to print something on Legal size paper, she didn't know where to find it nor did she know the actual size (8.5"X14")! After waiting about 10 minutes, it was actually in front of her on a shelf next to the copier. Then when I needed two of the fliers shrunk to fit onto a Letter sized paper, she was at a loss. Not a huge deal and she was pleasant enough . . . However, the other, older woman there was rude and seemed not too keen on helping either. She watched all of this and when the younger one finally asked for help with the file, she took the flash drive to another computer. For whatever reason, her computer logged her out and was beginning to update itself. She then turned to me and accusingly said that perhaps there was a virus from the flash drive that I brought in as her computer never did this before! I told her that it was definitely not something from the flash drive. She tried another computer and printed out the papers. When I asked about the fact that some were soft images, she was curt and dismissive saying that the file itself was the problem. She basically said that all of the printed material looked the same to her in terms of sharpness. Afterwards, she turned away and spoke with another customer. The manager (an older man) saw that I was trying to still sort out how to determine if the image could be sharper (as on the smaller fliers, they were). I actually called the designer from my cell phone to see if something could be done since no one at the UPS store even bothered to make any suggestions. There wasn't even an attempt to be helpful. When the older woman heard me on the phone saying the images were soft, she turned around and snapped "What's your problem?!? What is the matter with you!?". I wasn't even speaking with her, and when she realized I was on the phone (perhaps evidenced by the fact that I was not looking at her but at the artwork and had an earpiece with the wire hanging down from my phone), she didn't even apologize. She just loudly proclaimed "Isn't that the funniest thing?" There were other customers there as well as the manager. Instead of making a scene, I simply paid the bill ($18 for just 8 colour copies, waiting around for them to sort things out and being treated rudely) and will never go back there. UPS is supposed to be customer-oriented. It's sad that they'd allow their representatives to treat people - whether a part of small or large local businesses - in this way. read more

I went into the Danforth UPS location for the first time today as I'm a new resident to the area and my printer stopped working.I was looking to print a 400 page document in colour from a memory stick. When I walked I was immediately greeted by this helpful young man who's name sounds like Karon. He noticed that I was having a little trouble getting my files to load on the computer and came to help in a timely manner. I ended up even printing around 20 pages to the wrong printer and he had convinced his boss to ignore them and only charge me for the 400 pages I initially. I've been told that the young man along with another young woman are new hires at the store. read more

Never going back. Went in today to print a project for school. Normally do it at printing places close to school but decided to print close to my house for convenience sake. The man helping had no idea how to print a simple 11x17 the way I wanted to. We did a bunch of test prints until he got it right and then charged me for them at the end. Then I asked him to bind the sheets together but he messed that up too so I had to re-print 8 pages which he ALSO tried to charge me for at the end but I refused saying it was his fault I had to reprint. Ridiculous. The bill came to over $50 for 16 colour pages and binding because he also charged me for using the computer to open my file! What! I left the place furious and nearly crying. They will not be receiving my business anytime soon. read more

They made postcards for me that were overexposed and said they would give me a refund but that it would come out of the graphic artist's pocket. The problem was with the printer not the graphic artist. Don't get anything printed there. read more

I would absolutely NOT recommend this location! I couldn't believe the customer service. I had a basic print job and they did not know how to print double sided. So I took what I could get. I also requested black and white but they proceeded to print on colour and charge me for the colour prints. They also could not figure out how to use there debit/credit terminal. The staff seem to be VERY confused and not sure how to run the equipment in their store. Do not go here! read more

Repeatedly poor business and customer service by the store owner himself. After about 2 years of putting up with it, I finally have had enough and cancelled all my business services with this store. I will never go back. I was trying to settle the final bill amicably when the owner just demanded that I give back the mailbox key immediately. I asked him if we were all settled up then but I don't think he understood (or he just ignored my question). Just stuck his hand out to get the key back. Then rudely told me that any mail received addressed to my business would be returned to sender. I asked if there was an optional service to have it forwarded to a different address rather than be returned to sender. He curtly replied, "no, R-T-S" and demonstrated to me how he writes the letters R-T-S on envelopes and draws 2 lines below the letters. Didn't even try to be a nice person and clearly no knowledge of customers or business. Off I went. read more
