I was looking for an adapter for my light stand that's NOT brand-specific, but the guy behind the counter pretty much showed the most lack of enthusiasm to help me out by shutting down my store visit with, "I'm not familiar with this brand. Sorry." Uhhh ok. Are people raving about the same "knowledgeable" person or does someone else work here? Is this a camera equipment store or not? Looks like I'm sticking to B&H, Samy's and Adorama, my tried and true shops. Again- I was looking for a *3rd party adapter* to fit my Impact light stand that would allow me to mount my Hobolite LED light.

Review would have been good had the representative not started talking to me like I was an idiot for asking about a product issue that would otherwise have not resulted in a one star review. I have been told at length how James is aware of the situation and does not plan on doing anything about it. I will be filing a PPO on the manager, but I am deeply concerned about the co-owner approving of threats of violence against me. I have now been waiting until 4:30 PM the day after for contact from Joe Gee. It is clear nothing is going to be done about this. Be safe when dealing with this company, you can see my messages. It has been brought to my attention the manager is also going around saying I demanded a free repair. I didn't ask for a thing. I told him I did not want to work with Crash Masters. Please have him remove his attempt at defamation. I do not care about bringing up the familial things, it's a little crass for a dude but he is allowed to opine on such. This phone screen works worse than the phone I own that is smashed. I am assuming the forcing me to get the screen repaired after I said no was to prevent me from using my protection plan. The screen protector isn't even on right now that I look at it. All around awful.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after six months of delays, broken promises, and no…read moredeliverables, this experience deserves to be documented. I placed a custom sweatshirt order in early July after meeting in person. From the start, communication was inconsistent and required repeated follow-ups on my end. I was repeatedly told the order was "in process" and given shifting timelines that were never met. In October, I was informed the factory had dropped the request and that we were "back in line." I agreed to continue the order with a 3-4 week timeline so the sweatshirts could still be ready for Christmas. After confirming this, I heard nothing again. In December, I was told the order was considered a "dead issue" -- despite no cancellation ever being communicated to me and despite me waiting for a design or completion date that never came. To date, no design was ever provided, no sweatshirts were produced, and no resolution was offered. Delays happen. What's unacceptable is months of poor communication, changing explanations, and a complete lack of accountability. If this order could not be fulfilled, that should have been communicated clearly and early -- not after half a year of stringing a customer along. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a complete inability to manage or follow through on even a small custom order. (Around 10 custom hoodies) I would strongly caution anyone who needs reliability, clear communication, or adherence to timelines before placing an order here.
