Never go to this store. The employees are very impolit each time I have been there. But today, there was a new young man there with long curly hair who was so rude, impolite with no manners at all. The store has young adolescents who do not know how to talk to grownups. I have gone to UPS before to return Macy's items and I did not have to close the box as I thought they will need to check inside. I drove an hour and half to return and all I ask kindly is for him to tape for me this one time. He yelled rudely and refused and said that the only way is to sell me a tape. And when he was asked to put the box away, he threw it way across the table behind him right in front of a whole crowd in queue. That was so disrespectful as I have a son older than him. The employees do not have any courtesy or customer service manners. They forget that without the customer, they don't have a job at all, so if you can, avoid this store on Patterson drive at all costs. Not sure what has happened but I can no longer depend on using this store for Amazon returns. The employees do their part, and scan your return, but from there it seems to end up in a black hole. Nothing gets back to Amazon. Every surface is COVERED with returned merchandise, even the floor. No organization, simply chaos. read more

Been a customer 12+ years. Since new ownership has taken the helm (new owner from Florida), this place has gone downhill significantly. The employees are incompetent and completely useless, and the turn-over is steady, which signifies what kind of service you are going to get. I realize that's harsh, but it's true. If you want packages to get to your destination in a timely fashion, or at all (!), go elsewhere. I am not sure what else you can ask for when you need something mailed, but this place gives a little more. When I walked in the gentleman didn't ha e much to do at the moment but quickly sprang to assist me! I had some questions and they were all falling over to answer them and with the customer that walked in shortly after me. My package put together for me and was made to feel like it was important. In my three years living in Morgantown West Virginia and I use this UPS Store many many times because of its location times they were it was open and how easy it was to ship items. The customer service was always really good the only drawback is for some reason items being shipped the prices would vary greatly. For example I ship a large box weighing around 10 lb to a CMR address overseas and it didn't cost as much as shipping two boxes that where the size of a book and weighed less than 2 lb to a Stateside address. read more

They apparently don't want to help you all that much. It looks like they try to run out the clock on you so you are painted past their early closing times (making it tough to visit after work), and if they've done that, they'll verbally nudge you out the door. Their focus is on getting out of there, not helping anyone. FedEx is not great, but a big step up from UPS. Even the Post Office seems to be far more helpful, which is a pretty tough thing to say. This particular store is fine but you should not use UPS, use USPS instead, much cheater. Besides, UPS delivery is bad. On the most recent packages UPS delivered to me, the driver left package at the wrong address, that of a resident that was away for the winter. The package contained my passport with a newly issued VISA. On the UPS site the driver marked it as "delivered". It took me a lot of time and anxiety to go through the neighborhood, house by house, asking neighbors for my package until I found it front of the inhabited house. Unforgivable. read more

I cannot write enough to explain how much I love this store. I walk in and within sixty seconds I am out of the store with everything taken care of. They are incredibly nice and know what they are doing. Any situation at the post office is far worse than UPS. It is never a hassle here. I rarely go to the post office anymore since this store takes care of everything I need quickly, accurately, and do so with a friendly attitude. I recommend this store to anyone. read more

This place uses fear tactics to try to sell their shipping supplies and packaging services. They have been doing this for years. They now make you sign a form completely waiving them of any liability to damage to your package if they do not pack it. Ridiculous. The second your leave it in their hands you have no control over what happens to it, whether they do something to it, or UPS does. This all seemed to start with their former owner using scare tactics to sell packing peanuts and other supplies at high prices, and making people doubt their package would arrive safely unless they followed their fear factor suggestions. I know how to pack things. I have shipped hundreds of packages through all the available carriers. I do not need to be left feeling insecure about doing business there unless I pay to have them package something. Just poor business. I generally use either USPS or FedEx, and I never have a problem with either one. I tried the UPS Store again today as I had another package to drop off that was prepaid, and had something else to send out and thought it would be convenient. The associates were nice enough and just doing the job they are told to do. The fear factor and being made to sign a waiver unless you have them package your item is TERRIBLE. It had been a year or two since the last time I went there, and nothing has changed. I doubt I will go there again. I honestly never have a complaint when using their services. I'm in their computer, and the addresses I use are stored in their computer too. Sometimes I pack things myself, sometimes I have them pack, but either way, I'm in and out quickly and my packages always get there when they say they will. The proprietor of this business does not deserve to stay in business. I go in with a simple request to print from my thumb drive and I was literally sent away. The poor customer associates, this is not their fault, I do not believe. I come to find out that they are in fear of being fired if they open any files on my thumb drive. What???!!! I have been to countless UPS stores in numerous locations and never have I heard such ridiculous drivel. If you, an owner of a business have computer security problems, you fix it, don't inconvenience your customers and threaten your employees. Disgusting. Why have I been to probably a dozen UPS Stores in multiple states with the same request and not been turned away but rather served in moments? but now in your store turned out the door? Why can I walk across the street and actually be served with a smile in minutes with my print request? Why did I scan my thumbdrive with the latest Norton Anti-virus software on my own computer which gave a report of "clean"? Why did your associate scan the thumbdrive on a pc workstation that was already open with a desktop full of open applications? Do you understand thumbdrive security at all? If my antivirus software has found my thumbdrive clean, why does your incompetent procedure result in my inconvenience? 4. Have you threatened your employees again for my having disclosed to all customers and potential customers your threatening and abusive behavior to your employees? 5. If you want to get over charged and up-sold without your knowledge, then this is your place. I even think they charge for the air as soon as you walk in, so hold your breath. Things that you get for free, like shipping bags, at EVERY other UPS location they charge you for here. USPS is cheaper, and the hipsters at the post office don't work there. read more
