Beyond Frustrated w/ FedEx corporate, not so much the local store…read more.. On Wed. 1/4/23 at 12:01 pm FedEx tried to deliver a package to our home in Laramie, WY. It needs a signature. No one was home; I spoke to the driver through our video doorbell. He said he would try back tomorrow. I explained that no one will be there then either so he said we can call the number on the the door tag to make other delivery arrangements. We called FedEx to arrange delivery for after 4 PM the next day. At 12:02 pm 1/5/23 the same driver tried to deliver the package again. They did not deliver the package after 4 PM as arranged. When we called to find out why it was not delivered at the time arranged, the rep. told us, "it cost extra to have it delivered after 4 PM & since we didn't make that payment they didn't do it." They acknowledged & apologized that they failed to inform us of the extra charge. They offered to let us go pick it up at their facility in Cheyenne, WY more than an hr. (in good weather) from our house. We said that is not acceptable so they said they would deliver it to the FedEx in Laramie. The same delivery driver attempted to deliver the package a 3rd time on Fri. 1/6/23 and left a "final attempt" door tag. FedEx then contacted my mother (who initiated the delivery via Amazon order). They tried to tell her it had been delivered, she said it hadn't so they said they'd call us. When a person @ Cheyenne FedEx called us, they said they would deliver it to the Laramie FedEx but that we'd have to call that location when they open (Sat. 1/7/23) to find out when it'd be available for pick up. We called the Laramie FedEx when they opened & they told us "we're more of a print shop & don't talk much to the drivers." Her system said it was "out for delivery" but she couldn't give us anymore details. Called the Cheyenne FedEx back to see if the package was gonna go to the local office or our home. They said it should be @ Laramie FedEx by "about lunchtime" and that we can call Cheyenne back if it does not show up by this afternoon...we'll see.

Jay, one of the co-owners of a father/son business was extremely friendly and helpful. This is another Laramie gem that is much larger on the inside than it looks. The front office help were very polite and knowledgable but the back was awesome! Jay explained everything that went on but the best part (for me) was seeing the operational Linotype machine! It was gorgeous! The tour was fun and educational and I would recommend these guys simply based on my experience here.

I enjoy going in to pick up my prints because I always leave in a better mood than I showed up. Yes, it's a print shop but it is so much more when it is a small business who actually cares about their customers. Our elopement announcements came out so well and were extremely affordable. I'd called a local company about making an enlarged print, they'd told me it was not good enough quality. Jen gave us her e-mail address and when we sent it to her she said she could make a 36x24 non pixilated photo of it. The print is great, sharpe and clear!

The Laramie Post office did not…read moredeliver a contract package from Amazon (Yes, Amazon contracts with Post office) as it was too big to fit in the mail box. This was frustrating as we left instructions to leave it by the gate at our house which is a little ways from the mail box. My wife had gone in on a previous occasion for a similar situation annd explained in person. Today when it happened again I called the 800 number (that was painful) and left my name and phone number. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back from Tanya at the Laramie Post Office. We hadn a nice short discussion on how best to drop of packages that won't fit in the mailbox. My rating went l from zero stars to a four. No is perfect, the follow up phone call from the Laramie Post office was greatly appreciated.
