I'm giving my daughter a baby shower in September. I purchased an invitation and poster from Etsy & needed to have them professionally printed. I decided to use the Jericho UPS store to print them. I called before I went in & spoke to a designer named Ryan. He was very informative & explained the process and pricing. The next day I went to the store, emailed Ryan the link & we set up the order. That afternoon I received an email from Ryan that the invitations and the poster were ready for pickup. What fast service. The invitations and the poster are perfect! Ok I dropped 2 shipments off here on a Saturday, and it's now Wednesday and the items are still sitting at the store. These were 2 Amazon returns that I just had to drop off and then they would box and label them for me. I just had them scan the barcode, received a receipt and left. This store is awesome. Every time I go there the people know me after me having gone there once. They check me out quickly with my Amazon return, Very friendly and it's almost like a family experience when I go there. If I so happen to go with my puppies... Forget about it... They go nuts and we all have a good time unless there's a customer waiting and then they divert their attention on the customer and get them taken care of and then say hello to my puppies. This is not my usual UPS store that I go to I happen to be in the area and needed to drop off a package. The staff were friendly and helpful, Since all I ever do is simply drop off prepaid packages, I am in and out in less than 1 minute. Great store and location. Only negative is that it is in a busy shopping center, And parking can take a little while sometimes. read more

RipOff for Passport photo services. Walked in today to get passport photos for our family (3 of us). 4 photos per person = total 12 photos). Was charged a whopping total of $78, compared to approx $21-$24 for same number of photos at other places. I wish I had enquired about the charges before getting the photos. I will never ever set foot in this store, not even for regular UPS services. Complete cheat and ripoff. read more

What a wonderful experience! I needed seating cards for my daughter's wedding. I spoke to David, explained what I needed in the morning and by the end of the day I had the cards in my hands! I have been working with this store for many years and everyone is excellent and cooperative especially the graphic designer Justin and Alexis. They are very nice and always listen and pay attention with my graphic work. No matter how many times I ask them to make corrections they happily do the work. I had something bound there but they were out of clear covers so they promised a black front cover with a cut out for the title page. The cut out was sloppy and crooked with the razor slash going into the cover. Second binding experience was worse. The guy bound it on the wrong side and said "that's what happens when it's a rush job." No apology. These are franchises so I will probably frequent another one but never this one. I thought their customer service was great. I was using UPS for a big move, and Laurie Wagonfeld was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will say though, that UPS doesn't sell the strongest boxes. This is no reflection on Laurie or the rest of the people there though, who were great to work with. I do think though, that if you are using UPS to move, you should consider using other boxes besides the ones UPS sells in store. Just want to share some deceitful advertisement tactics that is deployed by USPS. I ran out of business cards and wanted to order the $14.99 business card deal at USPS. As I went through the pricing with the sales rep he started adding on to the price, first it was the $20 processing fee then it was the $20 better paper weight fee and the $20 Rush order fee. Came out close $75 which is 500% increase from the original stated price. That's a great business model. I'm going to print that on my business cards. read more

I needed to ship something and asked if their rates were the same as UPS. They said yes. They lied. They charged me $53.76 for shipping and insurance while UPS would have charged $31.11. When I called to seek some reimbursement, the response was our costs are higher than UPS so we have to charge (a lot!) more. Never mind that they lied. And the manager wouldn't forward the message to the owner to discuss with me. read more
