The staff is great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes the line is long but moves fast. I've only had great experiences coming to this location. I had a huge speaker that I needed to box and ship and they took complete care of it. The boxed and padded it, taped it up and shipped it out giving me the tracking. Use this store fairly often to ship valuable unique art pieces because it will be properly packed and eligible for complete refunds from UPS if the article is damaged in transit (self packed items are not assumed by UPS to have been properly packed). Also use their store as a safe access point for UPS deliveries if I'm not home or signature required and to return Amazon purchases for free with an authorizing QR code. Staff here is professional and cheerful even though the store is often very busy with customers shipping boxes. Occasionally need a Notary to acknowledge papers and find these folks more convenient than the county clerk or asking at a bank. read more

I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, positive or negative. But I missed a delivery that didn't require a signature, called 5 days in a row being assured that the driver would leave the package at the door as per my request, even left my phone number. After speaking to a supervisor who told me we're going to have to work together on this, I left a note leaving permission to leave the package and put my signature on it, as he requested. He told me it will go out the following day. Instead they sent it back across the country. Currently going through the same thing again with another package that I wouldn't have even purchased if I had known it would be through them. Truly a terrible service. read more

This is a story about how to lose a regular customer. OneMorning Mr. Ed runs into the UPS store obviously desperate disheveled running behind and asked for help at the counter. There is one person being helped at the counter by a young lady and 3 old men taping up empty boxes ignoring me. After about 7-10 minutes old guy looks at me and I ask, do you have any "white-out"? He looks at me with a blank stare and says without blinking, "We don't have that here," and then turns his attention back to his all important empty boxes. Really? You have 4 industrial size copiers in your store and advertise copy services but you don't have white-out. Moron. So Mr. Ed, without a blink, picked up his papers that needed to be white-outed, copyed, and shipped, turned around, and took his business elsewhere. And that's how you lose a regular customer, for good. read more

Looks like a decent UPS store. I specifically went there for a passport photo. I visited the website to make sure that it was listed as a service since I saw a review here (from 2015) that someone had passport photos taken there. It's still listed on the website, but I tried to call to make sure...nobody answered the phone. In short: They don't do passport photos anymore. Went to Walgreen's across the street instead. They were helpful by letting me know where else I could go in the area and that AAA would probably be the least expensive option if I was a member. read more

People, if you just need to drop off a package or even pay for UPS shipping this is not the place to go. This is just a store, a middleman, who will jack up the price by adding a lot of unnecessary extras. The UPS location to use, which is only a 1/4 mile or less away is The UPS Customer Center at 52 Big Boom Road, Queensbury, NY. It's right before exit 18 off of Main Street (Broad turns into Main) on the southbound highway side. I went to the store and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money for a box I already had packed. They wanted to stick it in another box, charge me for a lot of unnecessary extras on top of the postage. It would have cost $24. I took the same box to the Big Boom Rd. location and it was all of $8.00 which included tracking and insurance. So do yourself a favor, don't bother with this store. Went to this UPS Store to return a product from Amazon. To have them put it in a box and print out the Amazon label it would have cost me $27.62. Went to Staples to buy a box & was told UPS picks up there. The box and the label cost me $3.69. They only charge 12 cents to print the label but UPS was going to charge me $1.75. Let's see.......I saved almost $24 for the same service. Do yourself a favor & go to Staples. read more

Sat there on Friday and literally three of the employees found there nails more important then actually helping me. In this store constantly the customer service is extremely poor. I ran into the UPS store to send a package to my mother in law in Boston and I put my stamps in with all the stuff I was sending to her! Luckily they didn't make it into the package but got tossed into the trash instead! I got there just in time when they were closing up and the owner went through the DUMPSTER for me and found my $60 in stamps! Who does that! Amazing. read more

so my most recent experience with UPS was they had a package of refrigerated medications that was sent out on Monday August 8 th 2022 to be delivered the next day, However I never received it I continually received emails from UPS stating your package is on the way your package is out for delivery here it is Friday, August 12 and now they said they lost my package which is a very expensive medication that I needed. read more

Terrible delivery service! I will NEVER order anything from anyone who uses UPS for delivery . How in Gods Green earth has this company remained in business for so long. I'm guessing they won't be in business very much longer. UPS marked my package to be delivered 3 different times for me to be home as a signature was required. It never gave any time, Just said at the end of the day. Its so difficult trying to reach someone on the phone and when you finally get through, They tell you what you already knew, " AT THE END OF THE DAY " except at the end of the day about 9:00 pm, That's when the status changed from at the end of the day to the next day and we started this all over again and AGAIN for the next day. The package was being delivered from Florida to upstate NY . I ordered the package on the 24th which was Thanksgiving after Midnight so technically, I guess it was considered the 25th. The package didn't arrive until yesterday which was 7 days , I happen to be looking out the window when I saw a man getting into a small car with a UPS jacket on so I ran out to the car to catch him before he drove away to ask if he knew anything about my package. He said he had no idea what I was talking about.I asked him if he would check my status for me and he said that he already delivered it to the next door neighbor????? This required a signature and I am NOT of the female persuasion so I"m certain he could have noticed that this was NOT me. I can not stand when people are so incapable of doing their job, When I complained to him, His response was : I'm just a Temp. I always have good experiences at a UPS store... not this one. I went in for a FREE amazon return. The girl didn't use the box I brought and proceeded to change me $12 for putting something in a box and taping it without telling me how much it would cost. I was in 5 mins before closing ( which I didn't realize) but their registers were closed already? I've worked in retail shops, sorry, you don't close a register that early. The manager (blonde) was extremely annoyed she had to reopen a register. Then she turned away another woman "sorry it's 1 minute past close I can't help you..." that woman left annoyed as well. Today, my son and I went into this store to get a paper notarized. The "manager" who, while he had his cell phone plastered to his ear, yelled at and demeaned who I assume is new employee for making some minor transaction mistakes. He relentlessly and condescendingly berated this poor guy in front of not only myself, but 9 other customers! This went on for at least 5 minutes. I had to hold back from saying something because based on what he did right in front of everyone I didn't know what would happen "behind closed doors". The poor employee tried to keep a smile on his face, but was completely embarrassed! I watched his face turn red right in front of me...so rude! So now, whenever I think of this store I'll immediately remember the disgusting treatment that this manager subjected his employee to. What has happened to leadership in customer service, not even mentioning treating your employees with a scrap of decency!?! If the employee doesn't know how to do things it's up to YOU, the manager, to train the employee properly and not in a demeaning and rude way! There's plenty of other shippers available; why would I bother giving my money to a business that abuses its employees? read more

My son went there to ship a computer. the packed it, then told him he could insure it only if he shipped it next day air, that was their "policy". He ended up paying over $160 for a shipment that should have cost $40. They flat out lied to him in order to overcharge him. The staff is dishonest and misleading at best. NEVER TRUST THEM. I will never ship anything again through UPS! They told me that they were comparing prices with USPS and that they were cheaper and faster than USPS. Not true! Small to medium size boxes with little weight cost $19-$25 dollars and it took 9 days to go from NY to OR, whereas it only cost $5 to send from USPS and only took 3 days to go from NY to OR! Poor management as the website does not reflect hours and days open. What business in this day and age doesn't list accurate hours open on the web? One that doesn't care if they inconvience their customers. It was brought to their attention 7 days ago and it's still not updated and probably never will be.
