Some tables (like ours) are right next to the boxes they get of their deliveries but they don't get in the way of enjoying the meal. The food is delicious! The quesadillas I had were amazing. So much gooey cheese and moist chicken! The drinks offered are just what you can grab from around the shop so I just grabbed a water bottle to make it easier. (It was our first time here so I didn't know how things worked but they were very kind about it). The woman taking care of us was so sweet and I later saw her handling things at the cash. A gentleman (who I ended up seeing cooking in the back on our way out) came to check on us. I told him it was one of the best quesadillas I've ever had and I LOVE quesadillas; he almost looked taken aback in a pleasantly surprised way. And said wow, did he appreciate that. He was very, very, nice. I wouldn't mind stopping in here again and again to try other meals. Everything we ate was really good! They also give you takeaway boxes so I stopped myself from eating everything right away. I was happy to enjoy more quesadillas at home after our trip.

The bathrooms are always spotless, the staff is always friendly, and the hot drinks are always $0.99! One of the other reasons I love stopping here is that I feel safe. There are a lot of gas stations and fast food places on our way, but a lot of them are sketchy and not that clean. I cannot emphasize enough how important cleanliness and friendliness is to travelers! Every time we have stopped here (even in the middle of the night) we have been greeted with a "hello" and feel welcomed into the space. Nothing is over priced, and gas is usually pretty affordable here (hey, every cent counts!), so I recommned this place to any and everyone!

Also, they may be the only gas station that still allows you to pump prior to paying, very convenient when filling and paying cash. The air compressor is free, and they have public restrooms. There was only one employee working - with two registers open and two lines. I've never seen this before. The employee was working both registers at the same time. While one person's credit card was processing, he'd check out a customer at the other register. Because of this, the lines moved insanely fast. I also ordered pizza, which he had to get from behind the counter, and it didn't slow down the line at all. I was highly impressed by this. The selection of fresh food, pastries and snacks seemed much better than most other Stewart's Shops that I've been to. The counters were clean, everything was organized and had its place, and even the floors were freshly mopped (on a day when snow was melting and everything outside was muddy). But if you are in the Ticonderoga area and you need to buy enough gas to get you to Vermont to save $.30 a gallon. Then stop at Maplefields, yeah the prices are the same as every other gas station in town but the restrooms are clean, they have spacious seating, free Wi-Fi and an in store Amato's for food. You also have access at a small fee these days to showers if you are on a long haul trucking assignment. As gas stations go this is a very very nice one.
