The owner is trying to take away all responsibility from him and his team for their mistake. I am now going directly to UPS Head Office and preparing a bad faith lawsuit. I would not go anywhere near this location unless you are more than comfortable with your package arriving in an awful state as well as no ownership or integrity on their end if anything goes wrong aka they make the mistake and then it's on you. The manager is extremely rude and condescending. The owner is completely rude and condescending. I do large amounts of shipping for work purposes (upwards of 5 - 6 packages a week) and this is hands down the best worst shipping provider I have ever dealt with between western Canada. Genuinely pay more to avoid this place at all costs. It is not worth the risk. Primarily dependant on digital print jobs as all the presses and bindery equipment are past their life expectancy. The colour from their press department is very inconsistent while the Bindery equipment is dated and badly in need of parts replacement. Improper layouts from the prepress department add extra frustration on even the simplest of jobs. The working conditions are cramped with barely enough room to move material in the production area. Low pay, coupled with the employee being expected to wear multiple hats, and poor planning on jobs are primary reasons a person should consider employment elsewhere. Dealing with an excessively moody owner who demonstrates, on a daily basis, that he has no control on his personal anger management issues resulting in his raging verbal abuse toward the employees is again a reason to avoid employment with this company. The owner's micromanaging and inconsistent instructions causes even more confusion for the employee. He was waiting outside for her when she arrived and was so kind and put her at ease. He printed out the documents and even pointed out that she had missed a signature. I would recommend them highly, best customer service I've ever seen. I joked that he should call himself Shazam! because it was magical. We use this company on a daily basis at work (often several times a day). I don't know what their…read morerates are, but the drivers are always friendly and reliable. There are different tiers for delivery times, like a regular is basically whenever they happen to be in that neighborhood or driving that direction (usually still the same day if you call before 2) and direct rush means they come get it and take it directly where it needs to go (more expensive I'm sure). We've only had one instance where we were delivered something that wasn't meant for us, which is a big deal for sure. But for the literally thousands of times we have used them, that's the only incident I can think of. Dispatch is very friendly and helpful. If I'm looking for an ETA, they'll always call the driver and let me know when our client can expect the driver to be there. I would highly recommend them to any business I worked with and would not hesitate to use them personally if ever there was a need. I just wish I knew how much they cost, but I'm sure you can find out by asking. Our accounting department covers that side of it.
