I had to come to the UPS store in Dyersburg, Tennessee to have my fingerprints and background check completed for my job. There was literally not a single person in the entire store, and I arrived early so I would not be late and they would not let me go ahead and get my fingerprints and background check completed. I had to sit in my car and wait for 45 minutes until my actual appointment time came. This place is ridiculous. The employees were standing around doing nothing. read more

I was given a quote from the UPS site and took my package to this store and was quoted 13 dollars more. I then called UPS again and assured that my package should not have cost that much but was advised to take it to a "HUB" center since they would honor the original quote. I sent my daughter to the UPS HUB center with the same identical package and was charged even more. When I called back to the UPS center some black man tried to tell me no one ever gave me such a quote even though i have them on a recorder at my desk with all the information. Some person was laughing in the back ground evidently listening to my conversation on a speaker phone he had set up. It is a joke to them to extort money from a customer at the drop off centers. I think the Federal Trade Commission should send a few agents into these outfits and ship things to catch the corruption involved with the local outfits. It stinks with attitudes from people working at UPS like the last ones I talked with. I wish I had the number for the corporate members instead of some jerk lying to me. Maybe they would have some better sight into this matter. read more
