The owners are great people who take pride in their jobs. I highly recommend. I choose to go to local owned businesses.

Horrible! Walked into store went up to counter and asked young man what type of packaged I needed…read moreto send an SD card. He shrugged and said up to you. I said will they ship it in an envelope it's expensive. He just points to envelope. So I get padded envelope. He mumbles for my name has me spell it several times. Takes shipping address. He never even makes eye contact. It was like having to do this was literally the worst part of his day. He informs me it's only insured for 100.00. I ask him how do I obtain more insurance. He sighs again like I'm annoying him and tells me it's 3.00 for every 100. I tell him how much I need he literally sucks his teeth and say well you need a box. I said to him that's why I asked you earlier. He actually tells me to relax! I said excuse me? Nice customer service. He tells me you have the attitude. This is for real. I have the attitude trying to pay to ship an item. Is my attitude asking questions. Worst store I have ever been in. Who is hiring people like this! I'm old and a teacher. I have loads of patience. This interaction was beyond ridiculous! If I were you I would drive however far you need to drive to avoid this store! No way any of this should be acceptable! Whoever owns this store should check the tape for receipts of this interaction. I honestly don't know how they stay open. I only added one star because you can't leave zero.

I gave the clerk the information to the person I was shipping it to and for, but the clerk insisted on taking my name and not the person of the name that I expressed it should be in. The clerk also typed in the wrong address and I was not aware of this until I put in my original complaint: Clerk charged me 145.00 for air/overnight shipping other wise it would have taken 3-5 business days for $15.00. Well the package did not arrive until 3-5 business days later. When I made a complaint to the store I was told by Lisa the manager that she would look int to the issue, Lisa did go ahead and filed a complaint with UPS to refund me the difference of air shipping, but did not bother reaching out to me to verify any of the mailing information, and also put the request in under the wrong name. I have yet to receive a refund almost 2 months later. Every time I speak or reach out to Lisa, she refuses to help and says just contact the post office instead of accepting that she mismanaged the process, by not reaching out to me and getting clarification on the mailing address or the addressee. She has given me wrong phone numbers for the claims department and refuses to help. This is not a person I would want managing my store, since good customer service is most important to any business. Tina verified the address, removed the original packing box, and carefully repacked it with extra cardboard on the front and back together with several layers of bubble wrap. She was even willing to stay late to complete her careful packing job. We're happy to report that it arrived in Malaysia in perfect condition. We highly recommend Newburgh Shipping for your shipping needs.

Newburgh Shipping Company is an independent business which ships with all of the major shipping…read morecompanies (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS). A company like this is difficult to find, is convenient, and has a lot of potential since most independent companies only deal with one specific carrier. The store is located on upper Broadway in the City of Newburgh (near Anthony's Deli). It's difficult to find, especially in the dark (no fault of theirs). Their sign is alongside the road, but upon entering the first parking lot, you need to drive to the left, continue behind the first strip mall, and find the building diagonally across the next parking lot. I stopped by to ship a few FedEx packages in the early evening. When I arrived, there were trucks from FedEx and UPS both making pickups, which was prompt according to the schedule Newburgh Shipping advertises. I brought my packages inside. It seemed more like "social hour", as the only person working in the store was focused on chatting with the drivers than dealing with her only customer (me) or processing any of the store's packages with the drivers. She scanned my packages and gave me a receipt while chatting the whole time with the drivers, barely acknowledging that I was there. Due to the lack of customer interaction and friendliness, I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars. As I was backing out, I noticed the FedEx driver was helping the UPS driver lift up his packages off the floor, while the Newburgh Shipping employee continued chatting away lol. However, the store did seem organized, efficiently operated, and clean. I would definitely give this place another try for any shipping needs.

I opened a mailbox at this location for my business on June 2 and paid in full. I was told I would…read morereceive a phone call when my mailbox key was available for pickup. Since then, I have followed up multiple times. I checked back on Friday and again today, June 10, only to be told that my key is still not available. While I was there, staff appeared confused and were searching around to see if a mailbox key had been prepared for me, but ultimately could not provide one. I also feel very uncomfortable with the fact that staff seemed confused when trying to locate a mailbox key intended for my business. If there is confusion over something as basic as a mailbox key, it makes me question how my business mail and packages would be handled at this location. After waiting more than a week without access to the mailbox service I paid for, I requested to cancel and receive a refund. I was then informed that I would not be refunded, despite never receiving the key or being able to use the mailbox. I find this unacceptable. If a customer pays for a service, they should receive what they paid for. In my case, I paid on June 2 and, as of June 10, I still do not have a mailbox key. Refusing a refund for a service that was never provided is extremely disappointing. As a business owner myself, I find this very unethical. Businesses should be held accountable for delivering the services customers have paid for. Collecting payment immediately while failing to provide access to the service and then refusing a refund is not how customers should be treated. I do want to note that the young lady who assisted me was polite, professional, and respectful. My frustration is not directed at her personally, but rather at the way this situation was handled and the lack of a reasonable resolution. If you're looking for a mailbox, I would recommend considering another UPS location or the post office. My experience was that payment was collected immediately, but the service itself was not available, and no reasonable resolution was offered. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

Every single time I've gone, and I have guiding employees that seem very interested in giving me good customer service. So if you have come in and you weren't happy because you got stuck in a line yeah, you're going to have to come back at a different time or just swing the line like the rest of us. Maybe they can fix the bottlenecks when the groups come in, I don't know if that's scheduling when they know people are getting out of work and about to come in or on their way to work or on lunch breaks I'd have to pay attention to the times that I come when there is a big line. So if you can't try to get there during one of their off times then yeah your experience is going to be bad and you might be in that 8 to 10 minute line waiting.
