During a year of transition, I needed a safe and reliable place to receive my mail and packages. I also needed an address that was stationary until I decided where I wanted to live in the world. I looked at 3 other UPS locations in Columbia before choosing this store. I was never disappointed. James, Store Manager Extraordinaire, keeps this place up to excellent standards. Throughout the year, each time I called from a different out-of-town location to inquire about my important documents/mail, he quickly boxed and shipped everything to me. On occasions when in town or close by, the location assisted with copies, mailing, printing, etc. Always under James exacting standards. My nomadic year after retirement was made easy knowing James had my mail issues in the bag. All UPS locations are NOT the same. Be sure to take your business here every time!! read more

I can ship packages from a number of locations in Columbia and this will not be one moving forward. Employee attitude is bad and this morning the guy behind the counter was obviously not wanting folks to come in. I went to this location to drop off a mercari package. I paid $14 for them to bubble wrap a BruMate cup and send to my buyer. Literally all they had to do was BUBBLE WRAP and throw in the box( paid $14 for this service). My buyer received the cup NOT bubble wrapped. WHAT THE F WAS THE $14 THAT I PAID FOR? Absolutely do not recommend. James the manager is 1000% disrespectful and incompetent. Took them over 7+ days to respond to my emails and I had to email them a copy of my receipt 5 times showing what I paid for, so I could try to get a refund on the services I paid for and never got. (Bubble wrapping the item- it's a $4 refund.) NEVER GOT MY REFUND FOR SERVICES PAID FOR AND NEVER RECEIVED. Will NEVER recommend. After this incident I will not be using UPS EVER AGAIN. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

Worst UPS store ive ever been to. Customer service is terrible. First experience was when i asked a question about the computer because the printer wasnt working, the lady just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and didnt say a word nor try to help me at all. Second time I went there was around Christmas time and there were alot of customers. One associate was taking care of all of them, answering phones, doing everything while the other just stood there playing on his phone and listening to Cardi B as loud as his phone could play. Lastly, i went there, and the same associate who was no help on his phone was working again. Waited in line, walked up to his station only for him to tell me i had to wait for the other associate to help me and walked away without a care in the world. Pathetic. Two thumbs down. Due to my home being build I am in need of a temporary mailbox. I went to the ups store here at Andrews earlier for a print job. At that time I asked the very rude gray haired older gentleman about the mailboxes. He handed me a piece of paper without giving me any further details. Once I decided that this location is best, I went back. he now explained that I needed 2 pieces of identification. This information should've been given to me when I inquired about it earlier. Miles driven on my car for no reason, because I do not carry 2 pieces of ids on me. Very rude, and unfriendly. read more

The UPS Store on St. Andrews Rd. is extremely convenient with knowledgeable staff. Their mailbox service is stellar, and shipping services are always easy. They have evening pickups for UPS, which is convenient for last-minute shipments. You can also ship / drop-off USPS parcels here. The owner is also heavily involved in the Irmo community. Parking is easy and free in their private lot. I highly recommend The UPS Store on St. Andrews Rd. read more

I prefer this store to the USPS....for everything mail-related. Convenient location. Much easier to have shipping needs processed here than the USPS branches. Good (i.e. competent) customer service. These people can move an line of customers faster and more efficiently than any USPS branch in my area. If you are in a hurry, need accurate and efficient service for your mailing/shipping needs, this is your place. They also offer notary services, passports and printing services for a fee. They even offer prearranged scheduling for these services online so you can autonomously manage your appointment date/time. I plan on getting a UPS mailbox here since my USPS carrier is inclined to deliver my mail to random people and the USPS doesn't mitigate errors caused by their carriers nor do they have an interest in their carriers' performance. Also, USPS deliveries that require a signature are typically not be attempted by the USPS carrier - who will instead opt leave a notice of a parcel that 'you were missed' and indifferent to whether you were home waiting for said mail/parcel. Just makes sense to get a UPS mailbox and avoid the mailbox theft, carrier theft, carrier misdeliveries and have mail signed for by UPS. read more

This store is conveniently located for me, but the people who work in the store are unhelpful and act as if they have no idea how to do their job. They always seem to be dumbfounded by the task I am coming into to complete. Like making copies on colored paper. Or an amazon return. They can't complete these tasks without seeming as if they are reinventing the wheel, which seem pretty basic to me. My time is better spent driving further to go to a store with helpful workers who have some level of competence in their job, maybe yours will be too. read more

We took a package for a return to them...they scanned the item in and provided a a receipt but the item was never turned over UPS. When i contacted the store, they stated --- "the receipt means nothing, they have no responsibility for the return", I asked if they would search their store room to see if the package that I can prove was in their possession still in the store room and they refused claiming "no i don't have to, we do our job".....well...i filed a complaint with the BBB because the clerk refused to let me speak with the manager or owner. Looks like they don't respond to the BBB either, even though they are members. I now believe someone at the UPS store stole the package and that is why it never made the UPS pick and why they refused to check the storeroom. they knew it wasn't there. read more

It's great. Been there twice now this month and this one worker, Adam or something, helped me both times and he was very polite.

This UPS Store is my choice for shipping, copying, faxing and mailing. Just bring whatever you need done to them and let them do the rest. Easy on and off St. Andrews Rd. with plenty of parking. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. You get more options for shipping anything from letters to parcels. Why go anywhere else? read more
