I don't utilize this business frequently, but I have always found the people there friendly and helpful. There is always a line. I recently went there on a Saturday morning and there was already a line waiting for the store to open. The workers were kind and patient, and the line moved quickly. Tried to drop off a Verizon box with prepaid label from Verizon. The store was very busy (no problem, I waited in line). The woman that waited on me couldn't get the label to scan (she tried several times). She told me she couldn't do anything about it and that I should contact Verizon to obtain a new label. That is the last thing I wanted to try. I had already spent a lot of time with Verizon, dealing with a defective box. You know how hard it is to actually talk to a person!!! I decided to try a different UPS location, by South Hills Village. Again, a long line. The agent that waited on me had the same issue with the scanning, but simply inputted the numbers that were on the label into the computer. Easy peasy! This is a terrible UPS store. They have not hired enough staff and the line ups are regularly out the door. Avoid this place.

I see this particular store has 2/5 stars review; I find this is an very busy store, which can be challenging for customer service and patience, with limited space and always seem to be hiring additional staff (by the way, who isn't looking for hired help these days). Don't waste your time; Very poor on service; We paid a large amt. for 2 Day Air and through tracking it took almost a week to get to destination. Their website said they would return the money if that mode failed. We never got a refund; talked to people there and had to get in touch with UPS Corporate in Atlanta for any communication or measures. DON'T GO THERE!! A little surprised at the number of one-star reviews. I have used this UPS store frequently tho not regularly over the past several years. They have always been polite, fairly quick and easy to work with. Even when busy I have never waited more than about 15 minutes, typically much less. I have never had an issue with a package not getting where it needs to go. My only complaint might be about the parking lot as it is always busy and a little dicey to negotiate because the entry is right in front of the store which can create a grid-lock environment getting in and out But I can't let that reflect on the business itself. read more

I used them at the end of the month to pack and ship a very rare and valuable set of plates. 2 of the 10 broke in transit. Insurance covered it, but they were obviously not adequately packed which is shame because they are irreplaceable. When the guy was processing the order, he said they would ship in a 12" box to which I remarked that's not allowing enough room and advised that they were rare and valuable. They had a 10 1/2" diameter so not even allowing an inch on all sides. I would go elsewhere for packing needs. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I requested a simple print job of 45 invitations via email. My mom was going to pick them up however I had not received email confirmation. She called to ask and later told me the person was so rude and he actually hung up on her. She actually called back and asked if he was a manager. He said he was the owner. She said to him that the online reviews reflect how awful of a person he is. He replied "I don't care about the reviews. I've been here 10 years and I'll be here 10 more." I was appalled someone would speak to someone else like that, let alone a small business owner. If he cares so little about reviews, why did he buy an ad with Yelp? Do yourself a favor and go to Robinson, where the owner couldn't be more pleasant to deal with. This guy gets all around zeroes. read more

I concur with other reviewers that "the gregory" is a Jerk. Was an early customer around the time of grand opening at Suite B14 way back in 2005 before his move to current Suite A38 at 1597 Wash. Pike. " The gregory" was insolent and disdainful. Definitely lacks goodwill. Seriously doubt he gets repeat customers no matter how often he keeps moving his store front every so many years. NEVER USE THIS UPS SITE OR ANYONE THIS MAN OWNS. I had passport photos taken of my grandson. $22 in total. We take them to post office and the female agent said they were not usable. They were too dark and off centered. I told her where they were taken and she said it is a problem she has encountered a number of times with that store. Second encounter was having something notarized. I inadvertently signed before I came to the store, as instructions were unclear. He yelled and said why did I sign this. I apologized, but said, since I am in his presence, can't I resign below. He didn't want to do it but I insisted. Now I have been to UPS in Bethel Park in the shops on Corrigan drive and this gentleman is as nice as can be. UPS Corporate needs to look at this and I will be writing to them. read more

The clerk was annoyed by the question and told me to come in and rent a computer for $5 for 15 minutes. Said he was short staffed and didn't have time to help me. That's fine. Now I know. How many times do you order a parcel that says "signature required" and you know you won't be home to sign for it? Let alone have no one else around to sign for it as well? To add insult to injury they won't leave a notice card for you to sign because they want a direct identifiable signature! They just leave a redeliver card. So when I'm caught in this dilemma I try my best to reroute the parcel while still enroute to my closest UPS store. Their main hub is only open M-W afternoons and Sat mornings. Doesn't help if I'm expecting something Thurs or Fri. So rather than waste a day waiting for the truck to show up I rerouted my last parcel here. I actually was in this store 3 times prior to delivery to alert them of the shipment. Last night I saw in my tracking that my parcel originally slated for this Wed was coming today! Each time I called the 800 UPS number I got a different story. So once again I bolted in there this afternoon and was told it hadn't arrived yet. They would call me as soon as it did. No sooner than I got home then there was my email stating it arrived! I called them and they said it arrived only a few minutes after I left. So why didn't they call me en-route? Go figure. Still I made the trip back and the counter lady was at least nice enough to wave my ID process. The one positive thing I can say for UPS is that they are more reliable than the Post Office although if you want to use their services you end up spending a fortune. I have another parcel about to be shipped in a day or two so let's hope my rerouting isn't as much as a hassle as the first one. read more

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. If you plan to ship a large package from this store, DON'T!!!!! The owner of this store sets the large package fee to $100 which is a complete rip off. When I called the store to rectify the situation, the answer I got was "Sorry, we set our prices and we can't do anything for you". FYI.
