I have been going to this UPS location for many years with no problem, and then they hire Jeff and I have given him three tries to be respectful. First time told me not to print out bar code he will only do it off phone. Second, he was scanning my barcode and it would not go through and he used the "Mother F***er" word twice, and today was the final straw. I was in a hurry with a lot on my mind and accidentally had a package for the USPS and did not see it, as my husband had printed it off and he was on the phone when I left in a hurry and most stuff we return is UPS and I did not bother to check with him. He made a comment about it was for the Post Office and I went to take it off the counter so I could take it to the Post Office, which was not a big deal, when another gentleman there said we can take it and process here. He then proceeds to say "well if someone would have read the label they would have known where it was supposed to go" in a very snarky tone. This was the last time I was going to be treated this way and told him I was in a hurry, and had a lot on my mind and it was a simple accident on my part, but then he started calling me darling because he knew I was not happy, and at that point I was done. I will be taking my business to LaGrange where I know they have respectful employees. I called to complain to the manager, and he pretty much just blew me off and said we will talk with him, which was not real promising. They need new hiring guidelines and the customer service has gone down hill over the past few years. read more

Clearly their notary isn't a notary. We were just informed it is company policy they do not notarize documents, just signatures. So where are we supposed to put the signature?! It wasn't just this. The short haired woman behind the counter was obnoxious and rude and clearly also thinks signatures just go into thin air and not on documents. Maybe if you didn't want to be a notary you should advertise the services to the public. And to tell customers it is company policy that you don't notarize when you clearly do is pretty backwards. If you didn't want to provide a service to people, just don't provide the service period. read more

Totally earned that 1.5 star review! If you have anything over 40x60" 2" wide you will have to box it yourself at this store....You will also have to go in person to find this out,,, because they wont tell you over the phone...you will have to use email to communicate with them. Much easier to just call a different UPS store to ship and get what you need. read more

Avoid this store if you can. The employees are grumpy, rude and treat customers like they are an inconvenience. The other reviews here are spot-on, they honestly glare at you when you walk in and the negative vibe is palpable. Most times they wont even make eye contact with you. After 3 months of waiting on a check for a claim I made regarding Christmas packages sent out in November of 2018. The package was stolen. Still waiting. I was told that they had a check for me but could not release it because the Owner of this particular UPS store would not sign it. REALLY?? Does this store need MY MONEY to operate on. The total loss is $ 256.95. I was told I was getting less because they were not going to reimburse my shipping cost. Now that is not how you run a business! I will never ship from this store again! There were a lot of people working and when I came in I was kind of bummed because there was a little line and I just needed to drop off a package (labeled and ready to go). Fortunately, they moved thru the line much quicker than anticipated and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. read more

The employees here have a bad rap for being rude. If you absolutely have to ship items from this location, I'd recommend not telling them what's in the box, as they're pretty rude when it comes to shopping items they don't like. They'll claim it's "corporate policy, and get all offended that you chose their store for your needs". After their refusal to ship my item, i went up the road about a mile to quick copy. They were friendly, and were more than happy to assist in all my shopping needs. read more

I have been to this store few times and this place has such a rude workers. First time I was there, this lady kept staring at me while i was waiting in line and then blurted out "Can I help you?" while i was third in line and the undertone was so much full of rudeness or hatred. It took me by surprise. Thats how it came across at least to me. Second time I went, the worker basically talking AT me (not talking TO me) how I should take the return out of the box in such an intense voice like i did something wrong by being there. Lastly, the service rep was helping a lady outside and she opened the door for her and once she went through, she basically closed the door on my face. RUDE. She saw I was waiting. I have been to UPS stores across the country from NJ, NY, Colorado, California, Texas and many other places like and other states and I must say, being a minority, this UPS Store in Brenham made me feel soo uncomfortable. It felt like there are bunch of racist workers there who dont cater but to white customers. I never felt such negativity at a store.. or any store or any business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. I have lived all over the world. I have shipped things all over the world. We stopped in today to ship a few items home. Two were 18" tall. Instead of trying to find us the cheapest way to ship, the woman who was in 'charge' was immediately rude, loud, and obnoxious. And was immediately negative on being able to ship. She kept interrupting the young man and badgering him about measurements. They then told us for the BOX alone it would be $300. Here is the moral of the story. We went right up the street to their competitor and LO and BEHOLD. $140 to do the SAME exact thing. I dislike rude people who do NOT put customers first and I would think long and hard BEFORE using this place. read more

If you walk through their door, and you need one of their services, you had better find out what they charge before you participate. I normally go to Office Depot or Staples to get a copy made off of a flash drive at the cost of 8 to 11 cents. Today however, I am in Brenham and the options are limited. The UPS Store had moved to a different location from the last time I was in town but I walked in and asked if they could make a copy from a flash drive and the girl said "yes, he can do that for you". The guy on the computer shut down a couple of programs and inserted my flash drive, hit the copy button and was done. I pulled some change out of my pocket and the girl said "that will be $3.30". I heard the 30 cents part and thought to myself "that's a little expensive, but oh well". Then it hit me, $3.30 for a ten cent job. They told me to have a good life. So much for ever walking into a UPS Store again. read more

I recently visited Round Top, Texas for the antique week. I went to the UPS Store in Brenham to ship 5 plates, one platter and a water pitcher home so I wouldn't have to pack it in my suitcase. They said they were too swamped to pack my merchandize and they would call me Thursday to quote me a price. I was already home in California on Thursday when they called and told me it would be $86 to ship the items. That's more than I paid for all the items. My friend shipped two books and a small figurine and her bill for shipping was $80. What they neglected to tell us was that the minimum charge to ship to California is $67, and then they packed the items for us. Instead they told us they could not quote a price until two days later. Had we been informed of the minimum fee we obviously would have gone elsewhere. Beware of this establishment. I truly feel I am a victim of consumer fraud. read more
