I think I've decided to drive further out of the way for a better UPS store. This one is the closest and most convinent and I use it regularly, but it's not worth the level of irritation I get from every visit. The 8:30 opening hours are pretty inconvinent. On multiple occations I've found myself standing at the door with an arms full of packages while who's evers on the counter just stares at me at 8:33 with a look of indifference. This morning was fun as I struggled to open the door and dropped a few packages because all the person behind the counter could be bothered to do was wave me in. Appreciate the help witht he door. As others have mentioned, the staff is unfriendly and bordering on rude. Perhaps that's because it always seems to be understaffed at the busiest times? Regardless, I can't recommend this one. I've lived around the area for about a year now and there has never been a visit when the wait was less than 15 minutes. I'm usually making Amazon returns and I find it crazy that I have to wait nearly 30 minutes every time I am here! I've taken packages to this store a couple times to have delivered. The first time they waited two days before actually giving the package to any carrier. The last time I had a package delivered from here they had stolen my package at least that's exactly what it looks like. The package was supposed to be delivered back to PA. I took it to this store on 9/04/2020. It is now 9/21/2020 And I can confirm. The package has not moved at all since I took it to this store. I called a few times to inquire about my package and no one can seem to locate the package. It was from Adidas and there were 2 men's shirts size L that had been sent to me by mistake. Obviously someone liked them at this store because they were clearly stolen Nobody at this store is there to actually work That has been my experience so far. Terrible place. I do not understand the negative reviews for this location. I go here all the time and always have a positive experience. Yes, it's a very busy store (bc it's an Amazon drop-off) and there often is a line but it moves fast. I don't think I have ever waited more than 10 minutes. The workers have always been busy but polite. Some of these reviews feel a little bit entitled, like people irritated bc they don't get instant service. Everywhere has labor shortages right now and honestly it's a privilege that Amazon returns are so easy. I will continue to visit this store. read more

Do NOT use UPS! UPS sent me an email stating that they were refunding my account for $1118.82 to resolve in my favor a disputed charge. The money has never showed up in my account. UPS has no record of sending the money beyond the email stating that they would refund my account. There is no tracking number, no evidence of their account withdrawal...nothing to trace. My bank has no way of tracing the supposed refund without evidence. UPS will not cancel the refund and issue a check or attempt to rectify by any means. So I am out $1118.82. Not fair! read more

The UPS store on Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody has been my package mailing "go to" for a number of years. The service has been consistent, highly professional, and most importantly extremely dependable. I do use the USPS flat rate mailing option at local post office for priority documents or small items. For larger items, or for holiday gifts, I definitely prefer having the team at UPS do the packing (including secure wrapping) and mailing. For me, The up charge for the handling is well worth it. Plus, the cost of this service does seem quite reasonable from a value standpoint. Highly recommend! read more

Yikes!!! Normally I don't write reviews but the customer service here is so bad that I finally had to. This is the UPS store I go to now because it's closest to me and I've been a few times and each time it is almost as if the employees go out of their way to be rude. It doesn't matter who I go to. The last time I was there I said "do you guys not like Amazon returns or something?" And the guy said "no it's just we get sooo many of these a day" unprofessional as hell. Then I said oh well that's not really the customers fault and I don't appreciate the attitude at all. He gave me a very disingenuous "sorry" and I left. Today I had to mail a package and the guy had a look on his face like he had just smelt the fart of the devil and then when it came time for me to check out I thought I could pay on the iPad but he tapped on the table and said "over here!" To direct me to pay on the POS system. I paid then he handed me the receipt and said here's the tracking number. and I said "YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO SIR THANKS FOR THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!" I would literally rather drive further to a different UPS than ever come back to this store. Honestly I hope someone looks into this place because these employees are not happy at all and it's just bad vibes from the moment you walk in. read more

Normally, I wouldn't even think about writing a review for something like a UPS store, but this one is exceptional. I've been to this one several times and have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. I've never had to fill out a shipping form, or wait for the 10 people in front of me to fill out forms. They also keep your addresses on file, so they can easily pull them up if you are shipping to someone you have before. Last night, I took in a bunch of gifts that I needed shipped but couldn't find a box for. The only box they had that would fit them all was twice as big as it needed to be. They could've easily used it as is and charged me extra for shipping and peanuts, but they cut it down so it was the perfect size. I didn't even ask them to do that. read more

BEWARE of using UPS to send ANYTHING of value!! My cousin passed away and I mailed some of her jewelry thru this location, never thinking there would be an issue. The box arrived at the location with ALL of the jewelry removed from the box! I had to repeatedly call the owner for updates to the case. I am devastated! I purchased a minimal amount of insurance which did not fully cover the cost of the jewelry and CERTAINLY did nothing for the sentimental value of UPS losing my loved one's belongings! I stoped by this UPS Store to drop a package today at lunch time. I'm new to the neighborhood so I haven't heard yet how bad this location is. I had a label box and all packed up but couldn't find my tape at home but always use the tape gun at ups in the past. I stood in line with some other unhappy people and got to the counter and said I was ready to drop but needed the tape gun for a foot of tape and Bianca said it would be $1.75 to do that. I did thousands of dollars of business with UPS last year at locations all over the world and never have I had a store or any location charge for a piece of tape. I realize this is not a UPS thing and only a practice of this location. I'll never go in that place again. I will also write to UPS corporate about it. read more

This store has greatly improved since they got rid of the lazy and trashy employees that used to be here. With that being said, this is still a UPS Store, which automatically makes it lose two stars. There is almost no reason to use a UPS Store when a FedEx Office is nearby. At the UPS Store, you have to ask for shipping supplies and even then you'll probably pay an inflated price for a 6x6x7 box. Yes, you have to pay for boxes even if you're shipping overnight. This is not the case at the nearby 24 hour FedEx Office. read more

I just returned home from having the UPS Store at 4780 Ashford Dunwoody Rd do a 12X16 poster for me. Under the direction of Manager Raj Charotari, they "Nailed it" again. The clarity of the print and the correction of small blemishes on the page made my poster look as professional as a bill board. I am so happy with the attention to detail and time that was spent making my poster just right. Prior to coming to this store I use to patronize Office Depot to do the same type of work. Now, I can only say "Good Bye Office Depot" and "Hello UPS Store!!!". Compared to the quality of work done by this UPS Store, I have not found any other businesses that totally meet all my printing and office needs. Again, I highly recommend the UPS Store on Ashford Dunwoody Rd. He didn't greet me, didn't explain anything about the return process except "Keep your receipt because I cannot make another one if you lose it." I came in to return a book, I had my label printed out and my book ready to be shipped back to the company. I approached the counter with a smile ready for them to direct me on how to ship this book off. I'm answered with a monotonous robot voice of a tired worker advising me to pick an envelope behind me to put my book in. I pick up one envelope thinking I can fit my book in there and bring it over to the counter only to be told in a snarky way "do I think the book will fit in there?" Hell I don't know I don't work at UPS and look at packages...I try to put my book in and it didn't fit...I am then told to pick another one. Great. Bring it over to the counter and I am treated like a nuisance. No customer service whatsoever. I have never written a review for a store before but after my experience here I felt it was important to do so. I shipped a box for work with supplies for a conference on a Monday morning with a guarantee of a Wed delivery. Turns out that they didn't even ship the box until Wed and my supplies did not arrive in time. I flew out of town for this meeting and this particular UPS store left me high and dry. To add insult to injury they are very unfriendly at this location. I will drive out of my way to the other Dunwoody location moving forward. read more

WARNING...DO NOT TAKE YOUR PACKAGES HERE!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I dropped 3 packages off at this location on Saturday, January 24th. One was a UPS package and the other two were USPS packages. The UPS package has arrived at its destination, the two USPS packages are no where to be found. When I called the location to speak with the manager he advised that "I should not have left my USPS packages with their location" and that they only "take them in to do me a favor". Had they told me they were doing me a favor during the drop off I would not have left my UPS or my USPS packages with them. I will never visit this location for any shipping/mailing services again and I strongly suggest that you consider where you are shipping your packages from as well. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED! read more
