I have tried regular Brazilian waxing, and it was incredibly painful. I tried the Brazilian sugaring here, as I had experience with sugaring before (just not a brazilian) and I was incredibly happy with the results. Jill was incredibly nice, made the process very seamless and painless. She turned some music on, made me feel very comfortable and I was completely comfortable the entire time I was there. I bought a Groupon for this place for my first ever brazillian sugaring. My appointment was with Myra. I have a 9-5 job and a night class this summer, so it was so nice that I could go in as late as I did to have this done-- my appointment was at 8:45 PM and I don't know of any other spas that are opened that late. Props on the flexible hours! The sugaring itself was great. I have never had a regular wax or sugaring before at all, and Myra explained all the great ways in which sugaring is so much better than waxing. I only knew about waxing until I searched and found out t the benefits of sugaring. I was a little apprehensive which went right out the window when I met Myra(super sweet). I had to bring my son with me and the ladies at the salon were so accommodating and sweet. They watched over him while I was being "sugared". I have been going to Myra for almost 2 years, dang!! I trust very few people with my beauty services (it can be just as bad/or worse as getting a bad haircut) - my blonde eyebrows could get waxed off, my eyelash tint could sting for hours, I could end up with some unsightly, and most importantly uncomfortable rash. Not with Myra!! She is the sugar queen and her eyelash tint is THE BEST. I have blonde eyelashes so it is super important to have all of the lashes tinted and as close to the root as she can get. She has the magic touch - plus fantastic company. She has this way of putting you at ease in the most awkward of positions ;) The location is conveniently close to the freeway and there is always parking. 5 stars in my book. read more
