I saw BellaMe Wax & Lash on Yelp and wanted to give Ms. Tamika a try. I messaged through the yelp app and was able to get a same day appointment. Although I knew where the address was, I still got lost. I didn't realize that BellaMe was in a salon complex! It's next to Moneky Joes and the facility holds several independent beauty artists. Anyway, I found Ms. Tamika and she got to work on my eyebrows! I have super thick eyebrows that left unchecked, become furry caterpillars. But once done, they make my face! Ms. Tamika made my eyebrows look amazing!! I couldn't stop smiling at how good they looked! She took her time with angling, waxing, and trimming my eyebrows. Plus we talked the entire appointment and it wasn't awkward at all! Clearly y'all, she won me over! I have gone to this salon about 10 times over 5 years, trying a different stylists. I have wavy to…read morecurly brown hair so I always ask for haircuts that will complement my curls. The salon is cute and has a trendy vibe. All the stylists are friendly, and easy to talk to. All the haircuts I've gotten here have been basic, not super pleased but not overly disappointed. Just haircuts. I got a lob and chopped off all my hair once, but she didn't recommend adding some texture or layers or thinning out the bottom at all so it ended up looking terrible on me. I look for a stylist that isn't afraid to tell me what will and won't look good on my hair type, or at least recommend how to make it look better and she did not. Then, I came back 6 months later to get it trimmed, add some texture and get the bottom thinned. She thinned it out so much that 3 years later my hair is now long and I am now dealing with very thin hair in the bottom half. Got eyebrow waxing done here too, was pleased with that. Got balayage and they damaged my hair a loooot. Still have brittle hair ends 3 years later. So over all take away: go here for face waxing, basic easy cuts and hair trims. But I won't come back to get a color or a major style change, just haven't had enough excellent experiences to trust them with that. But worth a visit! Maybe you'll click with a stylist and find someone who does what you love! Definitely worth it to check them out!

Not everyone's hair actually lasted until the ceremony, and half of us had to redo our hair as they weren't pinned properly or enough. However, the salon was super cute and being able to Venmo the stylist was convenient!
