This was my first experience using a lawyer, so I wasn't aware that lawyers charge for things like…read moreemails and phone calls. I hired Jason for a specific task, and while the work was completed quickly and professionally, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding his fees. He estimated the work would take about an hour or less but never mentioned that we went over this time or communicating via email or phone would incur additional charges. Receiving a surprise invoice with these fees was frustrating and could have been avoided with better upfront communication. To his credit, he did waive some of the charges after I raised my concerns, which I appreciated. However, I believe clear disclosure of rates and billing practices is essential, especially when working with first-time clients.

I have known Michelle Ogborne for about 3 years now. She is an absolute ROCK STAR! I have come to…read moreknow her very well. As an knowledgeable and skilled attorney, and advocate for peaceful mediation, Michelle has a very unique skill set and a genuine commitment to her clients. I have seen the time and commitment that Michelle gives to her clients and to her community. Many years ago, I went through several rounds of legal court battles over custody/visitation of my oldest daughter. I wish that I had known Michelle then. Until just recently I have had no reason to need Michelle's service, but have enjoyed her friendship. Recently, I had a need to have somebody review some business documents and provide council. While the documents that I needed to have reviewed where simple and outside of Michelle's expertise, she was able to connect with me with another attorney in her firm, Lee, who was able to walk me through the documents and answer all of my questions. Because I know her and her character, Michelle's referral was enough to give me the piece of mind that I was in good hands. I strongly recommend Michelle as an advocate for peaceful mediation. More often than not, the time when Michelle's services are needed are difficult and can be very contentious. Michelle has a very special gift of being able to bring two parties to the table and find common ground and avoid the often brutal, painful and very expensive process of litigation.

Randal represented me in my accident/injury case and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was…read morehesitant to contact a law firm after my accident. The other driver was at fault and didn't have insurance so I figured I was out of luck. I was extremely fortunate my injuries were not life threatening but I did require chiropractic treatment and was out of work for a month. I figured I'd call around and at least get some advice. Immediately after talking with Randal, I was impressed. He explained the process, didn't rush or pressure me and explained that based on my insurance coverage I could pursue compensation through my own insurance. Throughout my case, he was just as focused on my well-being as he was on the case. He provided frequent status updates and was always available to answer my questions - even on weekends. He negotiated a fantastic settlement with my insurance AND negotiated final payment with my chiropractor. Even my chiropractor was impressed with Randal, commenting he was one of the best, most responsive lawyers he'd worked with. I highly recommend Hutson Law Firm.

Got hit with 2 alleged drug "DUI Slightly impaired" charges, along with others. Melvin Anderson…read morerepresented me so well, he got me no jail on my 1st offense at such a reasonable cost, and other scary alleged charges... he got tossed! The second time, I was incarcerated for other alleged non-DUI related charges and used a "public defender" for those and got 6 months in Durango Jail. While inside, Mr. Anderson visited & fought for me. I got the plea I wanted for DUI #2! Already being locked up and only being inside/sentenced (on the public defender "handled" ‍ cases) for about 2 months, Mr. Anderson was able to get me sentenced quickly and only received "30 days to run concurrent" with my alleged non-DUI charges! Meaning, I did NOT have to SPEND 1 EXTRA DAY IN JAIL! I still had about 4 months to go before I could be released anyways, so ZERO added jail time! In fact, I got out a little earlier than 6 months for good behavior! He helped with that too! I recommended a few friends, one for sure went to him and they also got the plea they wanted on their alleged 2nd DUI! They were so great full to me for me giving them Mr. Anderson's info! Everybody please... NEVER go with a public defender! Always pay for an attorney and go with Mr. Anderson! I should have for ALL CASES, his pricing is beyond reasonable! Lastly, let's just be REAL! We all make mistakes, especially while driving... who hasn't at least drank or did a substance and drove a car several times in their life? Most of us have made that error and don't get caught. But when you do it's quite scary. It took me "twice to get my driving right." Thank you so much Melvin Anderson! I'll continue to recommend everyone I know to you.
