This was my first experience using a lawyer, so I wasn't aware that lawyers charge for things like emails and phone calls. I hired Jason for a specific task, and while the work was completed quickly and professionally, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding his fees. He estimated the work would take about an hour or less but never mentioned that we went over this time or communicating via email or phone would incur additional charges. Receiving a surprise invoice with these fees was frustrating and could have been avoided with better upfront communication. To his credit, he did waive some of the charges after I raised my concerns, which I appreciated. However, I believe clear disclosure of rates and billing practices is essential, especially when working with first-time clients. read more

Rob did an incredible job pulling the most relevant facts and evidence from a boatload of information and preparing me to testify. By Helen complaining about someone being unrepresented then all that says is that SHE was the one that was unrepresented and she was upset because she lost against Singer.
