In the most simplest terms, The Tuscan Wedding made all of our wedding dreams come true. Martina and Federico were the two most detail oriented, helpful, kind and visionary wedding planners that made every single thing possible for us. Planning a wedding abroad is no easy feat, especially when our work schedules were so crazy as both of us work in and out of the hospital. Martina and Federico, were so accommodating with the time difference and making sure that they could fit us in at the times we were available, despite having other events to plan throughout their week. We had a clear vision on what we wanted our wedding to look and feel like. And somehow, Martina and Federico basically said "copy and paste" from what we had in mind and recreated it, detail per detail for each event. Each event (we had 5 for our wedding), had decor that looked like our Pinterest dreams. It truly felt like they listened and heard everything we said, and executed it to perfection. We were in awe walking into our events. Not only that, but the day of coordination was carried out so diligently and in such an organized manner. It is always difficult to stay on time during weddings, especially when there are so many events. However- they kept us on track! They coordinated with all of our guests, the vendors and us, to make sure everything went smoothly and without any hiccups. Even when there were small issues along the way, Martina and Federico handled everything so that we didn't feel any stress on the day of. For instance, it was predicted o rain throughout the entirety of our wedding. Rather than scrambling last minute, they set everything in place so that each of our Plan B options looked and felt even more beautiful than our original options. With them, we felt taken care of, safe and secure. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for their time, hard work and dedication to making our wedding one of the most memorable days of our lives. A little more than one year later, and we're finally sitting down to intentionally reflect on how essential The Tuscan Wedding was to our magnificent wedding. It went smoothly from the day we hired them, through our COVID-postponement, to our departure week. Of critical importance for an outdoor event is the weather, and Daniela will tell you that she can't control the weather. However, we're convinced she's only being humble and doesn't want to reveal her magic powers! Rain and high winds were forecasted throughout our weekend, and somehow, our wedding day was bright and sunny! Nevertheless, they came prepared with a full back-up plan. In all actuality, Daniela's team is phenomenal. I'm an over-planner and anxious person and was no different when we needed to vet overseas wedding planners to find someone we trusted and felt comfortable with. The Tuscan Wedding paired us with Francesca, who unfortunately had to leave the firm during COVID. Daniela and her team took extra care to ensure we felt that things were under control and we'd be taken care of. Their consideration and communication was of special importance when we opted to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Within 48-hours we had confirmation that all our vendors confirmed our new date. We had a small wedding of 22 people, but it didn't feel small. We were nervous about vendor minimums considering our budget and limited number of people. Daniela worked with them, and the vendors opted to add some complementary features and/or services that really took the event to the next level. The Tuscan Wedding made sure we felt that we were priority number one for them and all our vendors. If anyone had trouble booking a room, they would personally call the venue. One time, they offered to drive over if we had any further issues. We never had a problem after that, and the venue remained accommodative. Two days before the wedding, during our site visit, we were reassured that The Tuscan Wedding was the right planner. Daniela is a Boss. We were apprehensive about a couple parts of the plan, but the changes we asked for were no issue. A little back-and-forth between Daniela and the venue's manager resulted in staff being called to confirm all the changes would be made. Easy! Daniela assured us that they would make sure the day-of went smoothly, even when we opted not to have a rehearsal. The team made sure everyone was where they needed to be, we were pointed exactly where to go, and they made sure that they stayed out of the way of everything. There wasn't a single hiccup and we had nothing to worry about. From the time we arrived in the country and throughout the event, her and her team were in regular contact, and available for our families. At the beginning, we had fairly limited vision for what the day could be, and the whole event was more than we ever imagined. One more recommendation, if you haven't already decided to book them: just say "yes" when they suggest fireworks. We could not be more grateful for everything they did for us, we'll cherish the memories they helped us create, and we can't wait to have Daniela plan our 10-year anniversary party. read more

Daniela and the Tuscan Wedding Team made our wedding dreams come true. Those words are not strong enough to describe the experience we had with this team. It's been 4 months since Michael and I got married, and we are just now able to try to find the words to describe, and most importantly thank, this team. They went above our expectations in every.single.detail of this experience, starting with our very first interaction with Daniela. We spoke so several different wedding planners to understand who would be the best fit. Daniela stood out immediately. She listened to our vague descriptions of what we'd like and made spot-on recommendations that were more beautiful than we could have imagined. Daniela somehow held us to a strict timeline without us ever feeling behind or stressed. She allowed us flexibility while making sure we knew when important decisions needed to be made. She was, somehow, able to align my husband and I when we had differing opinions. Daniela hosted us in Italy before the wedding day to meet and make decisions together. She made us feel calm every step of the way. This team took care of EVERYTHING. They were a step ahead of us in every way. We enjoyed every minute of the 3-day weekend because this team answered our questions before we asked them. They were attentive to not just us, but also our guests. There are many examples of how they went above and beyond, but 3 specifics come to mind first: 1.) I was worried about my veil/dress catching on the cobblestone during the ceremony. Daniela grabbed my arm and practiced with me up and down the steps minutes before the ceremony. She devised a plan to have someone available in case it caught. Of course, it was perfect. 2.) I was sitting at the dinner table, emotional from speeches and my contact lens got blurry. The team noticed and asked if they could get me another out of my suitcase in my room! They brought it down to me in minutes, so I didn't have to leave the table. 3.) This one brings me to tears instantly. My father-in-law developed kidney stones on the last day and was extremely unwell. The team called for an ambulance to the venue to help get him pain medication. They took care of all the translations and phone calls. They were on speed dial for my in-laws in case of any further translations. AND they personally brought them back from the hospital at 10pm after care. ABOVE AND BEYOND!! After the wedding, they reached out for feedback. We will remember every person of this team for the rest of our lives. We were sad to leave them. I wanted them to stop working and celebrate with us as guests (of course they refused) but we meant it. Daniela's clearly well-established relationships with the wedding vendors helped to provide a flexible approach to planning our wedding from the US. We visited Italy once in September of 2018 before our wedding. Daniela had arranged food tastings with potential caterers, a site visit to the venue, a visit out to the florist, and a hair and makeup trial over the course of a weekend trip. That visit ran like a well oiled machine. During any wedding planning process, there are ups and downs. Were we over budget? Yes. Have I met many couples that didn't go over budget? No. We wouldn't change a thing- Daniela was excellent at making the time difference work for us and helped us navigate some of the differences in the wedding industry in Italy vs the US. The Tuscan Wedding far exceeded our wildest dreams. Everyone who attended our wedding is still raving about how beautiful, organized, and fun our wedding was. This came to us as a huge relief as we had 50+ friends and family fly in from all across the USA. I'm sure this sounds cliche, but even our friends who were married let us know our wedding was by far the best! Daniela and Francesca are extremely responsive and held our hands throughout the entire process. My husband and I have demanding jobs (Pharma and Tech) that require travel at least 2x a month so we were trepidatious about planning a wedding in general. Those worries were washed away within the first virtual meeting with Daniela and Francesca. They are master project managers and at the end of our conversation, they created a timelines of deliverables for us so we could stay on track to have our wedding. There is so much to be said about the amazing job that Daniela and the Tuscan Wedding Team did on our wedding day, we honestly don't know where to start. When we decided to get married abroad (we are from New Jersey, US) we quickly realized it would be near impossible to plan our wedding overseas without a good amount of assistance. After interviewing several wedding planners, from numerous google searches and reviews, we scheduled a call with Daniela and knew immediately that she was going to be our wedding planner - she came across professional, knowledgeable and kind. There are so many factors to consider when planning a wedding, but that difficulty is heightened when planning abroad. Daniela was crucial in navigating the normal decisions to be made, such as choosing a reception location, caterer, florist, videographer, and church (which happened to be Santa Maria Novella - we are all still in shock that she was able to make that happen!) However, we also tasked her with organizing our day to day activities leading up to the wedding. We had 56 family/friends arrive in Italy 4 days before the wedding and an additional 44 guests join us for the wedding day. The Tuscan Wedding arranged accommodations, a vineyard tour, our Bachelor & Bachelorette parties, our rehearsal dinner and all of the transportation in between. It's worth mentioning that traveling in large groups in no easy feat in the hills of Tuscany. Did I mention Daniela's English is awesome? This was a huge help when working through language barriers. Needless to say, the wedding turned out to be the most amazing day of our lives. As someone n the wedding industry in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, I work with some of the best coordinators every weekend during wedding season. For me, finding the right coordinator for our destination wedding was really important. When my Fiancé and I came up with the crazy idea to get married while on vacation in Italy, we knew we could not do it with out a really supportive, very skilled, professional, who knew the area. As it turned out, Daniella and her team were exactly who we needed. She did all the work and made what can be a really stressful process easy for us. When we arrived in Italy, a few days before our family, she was there. She arranged and accompanied us to appointments with the Italian government. Made sure we had all the proper documents to make it all official. She translated for us whenever we needed it! When she showed us the venue, we realized the photos didn't do it justice. It was stunning! Our wedding, in true wedding fashion, was a crazy blur. I interviewed over a dozen wedding planners 1 year in advance and am so happy that we chose The Tuscan Wedding. They were able to help organize everything from venue, catering, the timeline, hair stylists, wedding favors, last minute transportation issues, dinners.... We had rain the week of our wedding (luckily not during the ceremony or our events) but they were able to make last arrangements just in case (from moving the reception outdoor to indoor, umbrellas for guests, etc) They are seriously the best!!!! read more
