What I am talking about is also the event planning and organization she does. She has such a great eye for aesthetics and high attention to detail, I could definitely tell she has a passion for making anything look perfectly beautiful. As a designer, I am very picky (and to be honest, also very critical) when it comes to event presentation and visual design. She took care of even the smallest of details for her beautiful booth at the event, to me representing not only her impeccable work but her dedication to make anything she does memorable, and making it stand out from the rest. Francesca created a detailed itinerary that took us from Florence to beach town Forte Dei Marmi, followed by the castle at Porto Venere where I proposed on the rooftop of the church with panoramic views of the rugged La Spezia coastline. After my girlfriend said "yes" (the best part!) we had dinner at the amazing restaurant underneath the castle. Because it was off season the restaurant was closed. But Francesca worked with the manager to open the restaurant just for us. Our table was decorated beautifully with flowers and candles while the doors of the restaurant were opened so we could experience the moonlight glittering against the waves as we dined. The entire day was captured by renowned photographer Thomas Harris (www.thomasharris.it) who, in addition to being an amazingly artistic photographer, exhibited an oscar worthy performance by pretending to be shooting for an Italian tourist magazine as he shadowed our every move. Thank you Francesca for a day that we will remember forever.

The new planner hasn't done anything to get our wedding planned and the owner promised our deposit back but she's since turned into a ghost and she refuses to answer phones or refund our money. The only time Rita tavella has replied is to 'assure us' they'll take care of everything and that we also need to send €10.000 to them for a despair in the rooms for our family. We've since found out from local authorities that this is illegal. PayPal cases are pending ti get our deposit back and still No answer from Rita tavella. Do your research on other services in the area and be warned not to do business with Rita and your wedding in Florence. Maybe this review will scare her enough to practice better business with people who are trying to design the wedding of their dreams with their partner. I think losing her staff is a huge sign of what type of business she's running here.

The hotel is convenient to the airport, train station.'c and downtown Pisa. The hotel was very clean and the service was impeccable! I had the opportunity to have brekkie and an arrival meal (dinner) here and the food and restaurant service was also top shelf. Really a superb place to stay if you find yourself in Pisa for business or pleasure. Highly recommend the AC here! Thanks to everyone for two great stays!

Unfortunately, this hotel was a huge disappointment. The condition of the room was poor. Literally…read moremasking tape holding the electrical plug in the wall in the bathroom, a wire exposed under the bathroom mirror, holes in the blackout curtain and most importantly Air Conditioning that did not work. Since we had nearly 30 hours of travel we ate and went to bed only to wake up to a warm room. We tried to adjust the AC but instead opened the window. The next day we informed the front desk. The front desk person was pleasant, but we heard nothing from the hotel, no notes, calls or text messages. Upon returning that afternoon, since we had heard nothing, we told them we would need to check out, if this was not rectified. Still zero communication from anyone. The next morning, we went to check out and the front desk manager came out, told us we would be charged for 4 more days and the AC was working it is just wired backwards like most controls in the rooms. And we are suppose to know that to get AC you need to place the control on heat? Seriously, you cannot make this up. I then escalated the complaint to Marriott corporate, and he misrepresented the AC control and stated it was working properly. I have over 1500 nights at Marriott, and this is the first escalated complaint I have ever made to Marriott corporate for obvious reasons. I even provided pictures as I could not believe this was a Marriott property.
