I joined Yelp just to make this review. If I could give it half a star I would.
This place used to be the Four Seasons of apartment buildings. My GF moved in when it first opened and it was amazing. Beautiful layout, impeccable landscape, sick location, amazing staff, great amenities. I loved visiting her because it had such a sense of community too; a ton of dog owners and we'd all meet up with drinks after work in the dog park. Our dogs were friends and we were friends. My GF felt safe and looked after.
I moved in with her in 2018 and it was great at first. Sadly, many of our friends moved out, but after a few months it was like a completely different place. New tenants who were very intolerant of animals (despite it being a pet friendly building), people repeatedly parking in our spot, double parking in no parking zones, people leaving trash around, not picking up after their dogs, cigarette butts all over, dog park gate broken, not wiping down gym machines, carts in front of our door. This crap added up. Kind of ironic considering they call it "luxury" apartment living. Just no consideration at all, and the sense of community had completely diminished. We'd see people in the hallway who would rather ignore us than say hello. Not the type of people we wanted to live around.
The management claims they have strict policies on a lot of these issues, but they don't do anything. We had all these amenities that allured us into living there, yet when something was wrong with them, they didn't fix the issues. They claimed to have cameras - use them! We had multiple packages stolen here because delivery drivers leave them right in the lobby. Despite management leaving a sign saying not to, nothing ever changed. Shocker, a sign didn't work. I don't know if adding the new Huntington building was too much, but it started to feel as though were treated like we just a number. They seemed to forget that this might be their job, but these are our HOMES.
Our last straw was when the *new* management told people they were painting all the doors and we had to leave our apartment door open for them to do this. Really?! We've lived everywhere and never seen this before. Who TF does this??! Just another indication you're just a number living there. This caused issue for a lot of others too, management was just too oblivious to notice. We cut our vacation short just to be home for this, because we didn't trust them or our neighbors to just leave our door open all day.
Unfortunately, after this AND the fact that they raised our rent despite not being able to use any of the amenities (due to COVID), we left. Bitter sweet - we stayed as long as we did because we genuinely loved our place and we loved the location - but aside from that, there is nothing overly special about this place anymore. Shame. read more
