Right away I could see about 4 cars of people waiting for their food and the inside was full of people waiting as well. Seems like waiting a while is just what it is. No biggie so I ordered crab and shrimp fried rice. They were out of lamb chops so I had catfish steaks instead. They told me 25 min which was fine so I waited in my car. About 10 min later the cashier came out to my car to confirm my order (which was weird) but I appreciated that. Another 10 min later a cook came out and asked the name on my order and said it would be ready in a few. At exactly 25 min my order was ready. I hate to say that I was underwhelmed with the food. The catcatfish was good but I've had better. It wasn't bad but nothing about it set them apart from other places. The fried rice was seasoned good but entirely too salty. And the "crab" is imitation crab. The consistency of the rice was fluffy, sticky and clumpy, which i don't really like. Overly seasoned food does not make it good. Although i didn't like what I had, I would like to go back to try the fish sandwich.

Luckily, I went with a big group and got to try and number of things off the menu. I will point out that some things listed on the menu was not available such as their Lobster Bisque & the Caesar salad. The food was phenomenal. It did take about 30 - 40 mins for our food to come out but I'm assuming that's because it was made fresh. There was only one worker & bartender working at the time which is fine because it wasn't that crowded but the customer service was a little slow. Plenty of space for seating (tables and booths). This place is perfect for Sunday brunch or dinner! Lastly, I love that it's located in Blue Island!
