I've been getting weekly personal training sessions with James Coca for a little over a year now…read moreand it's been a really worthwhile experience. I went in with some lingering injuries to my lower back and right shoulder, so James started me out the first month or two slowly with a focus on strengthening those areas before advancing to heavier weights and exercises. My primary goal was to gain strength and some muscle, but I also wanted to do some tailored strength training for my tennis game, and James diligently created and continually customized workouts each week to help me progress in those areas. He also has a great personality, which makes the training sessions fun and something to look forward to each week. As part of the personal training package, I also have access to free group classes and testing (DEXA scans, VO2 Max tests), and I've really enjoyed the Tuesday Hyrox class with Donovan and the Sunday Circuits class with Elijah. I've also now gotten two DEXA scans (9 months apart), which has shown that I've increased my muscle mass by 5 pounds while lowering my body fat percentage. In addition to seeing myself lift heavier weights over time, it's also great to be able to quantify the change in body composition as well. Overall, it's not cheap, but with the targeted training and extra access to group classes and perks, it feels like great value for the cost. I've never had a personal trainer before, and I'm glad I started last year even if it meant cutting down on expenses elsewhere - it's increased my accountability to my health goals, and that feels like a great investment!

Richard has been an outstanding trainer from day one. He is knowledgeable, encouraging, and incredibly patient. One of my biggest concerns when starting was managing my chronic back and knee issues. Richard took the time to understand my limitations and designed workouts that worked around those challenges while still helping me make meaningful progress. Not only have I gotten stronger, but my back and knee pain has been significantly reduced, if not completely eliminated. That's something I never thought would be possible. Today, I'm the strongest I've ever been, and I give Richard a tremendous amount of credit for helping me get there. He consistently challenges me while making sure I train safely and effectively. The facilities are top-tier as well. The equipment is high quality, everything is well maintained, and the gym is always exceptionally clean. I highly recommend Richard and this facility to anyone who is serious about improving their fitness and making a commitment to becoming stronger and healthier. Whether you're new to personal training like I was or have years of experience, you'll be in great hands. Five stars all around!

Since starting with him in November 2023, I've gone from around 156 lbs to ~126 lbs while building and maintaining 90+ lbs of lean muscle mass. The progress I'm most proud of, though, is how much stronger I've gotten. When I first started, I could barely hip thrust the bar--now I'm hip thrusting more than my body weight! I'm stronger, leaner, more athletic, and so much more confident in the gym than I was two years ago. Richard is knowledgeable, encouraging, reliable, and genuinely invested in his clients' progress. His approach is personalized and focused on sustainable, long-term results rather than quick fixes, and he's always been incredibly flexible around my work and travel schedule. After 2+ years of consistent training, the results speak for themselves. I couldn't recommend him more!

I absolutely LOVE working with Roland Borys. He is an extremely mindful trainer who knows the value and importance of mind/body connection. I've felt myself become so much stronger and agile in the past yeah and a half working with him. When I initially came to work with Roland my main goal was to create a more sustainable fitness routine for long term health. I also came from a background of competitive cycling and eating disorders so I really just wanted to focus on treating my body well as I aged, and while I hoped for what many of want out of training (a hot bod or w/e) I wasn't aiming for that as my goal knowing that I needed to change my relationship with my body. However in doing just that my body and my connection with it changed. Roland really helped me treat my body with kindness and we worked on a lot of functional fitness. which to some doesn't seem as "difficult" because it's not about hitting heavy weights. But all of that mindful training really helped my body heal as well as my experience with my body image. Now when I look at myself I see someone who is healthy and strong overall which in itself is beautiful. I did loose inches and became much more toned if you're wondering. But that truly doesn't matter as much as how my body and mind now feel. I've also gotten into a variety of other sports and my body just easily adapts to whatever I do with such ease now. Further proving to me the well rounded nature of Roland's training. In addition He has also helped me see how much stress i was carrying in my life. Stress can do a lot to a body and working with him (and my therapist) have really helped my mind connect to my body to work as a whole. I'm the fittest I've ever been and my connection to my body feels much more healthy than before. Overall I would 100% recommend Diakadi if you are wanting to train with an expert for a reasonable price. And I 1000000000% would go with Roland if he matches your fitness goals. I'd give this place 5/5 stars but i'd give Roland 10/5 :)

Housekeeping: 5 stars! Professional and super hard working. (As other reviewers have said.)…read more Equipment and fitness floor: 2.75 stars: they have a few interesting machines, but they don't have enough of the more popular standard ones. There is one of each of the weight machines so the wait times can be pretty long any part of the day. They could repurpose some of the open mat area, which is unnecessarily large in comparison to the area dedicated to the machines. Group fitness classes: 3.5 stars: they have a lot of good classes. There is not enough variety, as other reviews noted. I remember when they had tons of Pilates mat classes. Now they focus mostly on Zumba, which is wonderful...we need more strength training (like Pilates or such). Spa and pool facilities: 2.5 stars. The women's locker room is well maintained, and is the main reason why we continue to choose this gym. They recently installed some very temperamental locks in the women's locker rooms, and the numbers on the locks are super small to read...seems like an ADA issue; As it is, the housekeeping staff needs to help with lock-outs all day. (And they still keep the place sparkling clean! Hence five stars in the first category above.) The women's steam room is offline chronically due to repair issues. And so women who use the pool need to walk, dripping with cold pool water, through a lounge/lobby area while the steam room is under construction. These conditions have been true for over two months now. And there is no good timeline for when the steam room and direct access to the pool area will be restored. The steam room was under construction in 2025, too. Security team is incredible. Bottom line: if housekeeping and security could run the whole place, this would be a five-star review; If you need to get through your workout efficiently, and don't want to wait in line for a shoulder press or leg press, maybe check another gym with more than one of each type of machine. If you want daily cardio-type fitness classes, and don't need machines or weight lifting work, this gym is a good option. Just don't bring a bag that you need to stow in a locker to avoid the hassle of getting locked out! (Bags of any kind are prohibited on the gym floor.) We have been members for a long time, and so we have a reasonable rate. I would not pay the current prices, however, as it feels like too much for what they currently offer. Hope this helps you decide on the best gym for your needs!
