Nancy, the office manager is what made my decision to live in Meadowridge a no-brainer! She's genuinely nice and friendly and answered all of my questions patiently. I had a terrible experience with my last apartment, from maintenance to the awful employees. I've worked in guest service for over 20 years in fine dining. Nancy is a gem and thoroughly impressed me. Moving can be so stressful and she made the transition a breeze. The company is extremely lucky to have such an amazing and talented manager!! Thank you, Nancy!!

Red alert! As part of the application process, Meadowridge Apartments uses an AI-generated system…read morecalled Two Dots to verify your identity, income, and rental history. You are not made aware of this when going through the application process and what it fully entails; you are only told if you are interested in following through on an application you will need the usual two paycheck stubs and a recent bank statement. As one who tries to keep their information safe, bank account numbers and pay rate were redacted on attachments before uploading for my protection. For the record, gross and net pay were NOT redacted on paycheck stubs which gave verifier all he/she needed. You will eventually discover, Two Dots does not allow any redacted documents. They want you to link directly to your bank website without redacting for "easy verification," so they say. Even though my pay stubs plus bank statement more than covered rental costs, Two Dots also asked for tax transcripts downloaded directly from the IRS website, also unredacted. At that point, I reached out to complex management and told them I was unsubscribing from Two Dots texts so I would no longer receive repeated requests to update aforementioned documents including unredacted pay stubs. I also told complex management I would not be completing application and requested the $205 charge be credited to my card. NO APARTMENT COMPLEX AND/OR AI-GENERATED SYSTEM NEEDS TO KNOW MY RATE OF PAY, MY CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER, MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT NUMBER, AND PREVIOUS YEAR TAX EARNINGS TO RENT AN APARTMENT...PERIOD! All documents I provided were more than enough to determine eligibility. At that time, management stated they would not return any fees because application was complete. I told them application was incomplete because Two Dots kept requesting unredacted documents. I also have an email from Two Dots with subject "Finish Your Rental Application." An application is not complete unless all backup is received, recorded and verified. I filed a fraudulent claim with my bank to get my money back. I urge everyone to see for yourself the not-so-positive reviews for Two Dots as a company and even worse reviews for unfortunates like myself who were corralled into using this program as part of the application process. I have to agree with one reviewer who recently called Two Dots a "feces of a system." Apartment complexes (Meadowridge Apartments) and Two Dots do not need account numbers, routing numbers, tax information, and direct links to anything. No one ever asks for this kind of information, not even when purchasing a house. Feel free to provide personal information at your own risk. I won't, ever. On an end note, Meadowridge Apartments did eventually credit my account. They must have realized how wrong they were. Be careful with this one.

The property itself is consistently clean and well maintained, and it's clear that a lot of pride goes into keeping the community looking great. Maintenance was excellent, responsive, professional, and thorough. Requests were handled quickly and done right, which truly makes a difference in day-to-day living. The management team really sets this community apart. Bristina, the manager, is highly professional, genuine, extremely helpful, and truly did her best to accommodate my family. She clearly cares about the residents and the overall experience. Rachel and Clayton were also great to work with, friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout our time there. We ultimately ended up moving due to location needs, but that had nothing to do with the quality of the property or management. I've had my son living at multiple apartment complexes over the years, and I can honestly say this is by far one of the better ones, easily top three overall. I would absolutely recommend Altair at the Preserve to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed community with a great team.

There are frequent fees, annual rent increases, and limited responsiveness from management. Even a one-time online payment portal issue required residents to incur bank fees for money orders or cashier's checks without reimbursement. As you can see, management primarily responds to high-star reviews rather than addressing consistent concerns. I do not plan to renew my lease.

Our Webasto diesel heater for the RV part of the truck hasn't been working properly and with no heat, our water lines will freeze and break and it's not comfortable being in a camper when the temps are freezing inside & outside. Wies was the ONLY Webasto service center that answered the phone with authority on: yes we service Webasto, which unit do you have, yes - that's a very popular unit, we'd be happy to help. We let them know we'd drive 300 miles and an approximate time we'd be there. Up front Keith let us know he doesn't have repair parts in stock for our unit so we could possibly have a delay depending diagnostics. They took our vehicle in immediately, tested the system, then removed the unit and took apart to find the issues. We were called and informed of the need for a new source burner service kit from manufacturer, which is on backorder. Our GXV is fairly new and the manufacturer of our truck is footing the bill here. With backorders and no parts available for 4-6 weeks, Keith was able to overnight (on a Thursday) a new heater and install it next day- Friday. The priority, attention to detail and professionalism we received from Keith, all the techs/mechanics and his office manager, Sheri was the best we've ever come across. Before leaving we had them change the oil our beast (it's a RAM 5500 chassis). Fantastic inspections of EVERYTHING (changing oil & filter), lubricate chassis. Test brake fluid for moisture and copper content, evacuate and refill power steering & brake reservoir (if need be), check all vehicle fluid levels, conditions and top off if applicable. Lubricated door hinges and locks, latches. Inspected and adjusted: tire pressure, belts and tensions, hoses, battery and distribution terminals, lighting, exhaust, fuel and induction systems. Wow, we really feel SAFE and have confidence in our rig after this service especially since they found a couple issues and fixed them. If you want or need a repair shop - this should be your #1 pick. They have plenty of customers, so if you know a good mechanic - they train them and would be fantastic place to work. 10 STARS

Lombardo Homes - Castlewood Estates New Home Community - Lombardo Homes St. Louis

Lombardo Homes

W.O.W. My wife and I…read morewere looking to build a home for our family. We searched for over year until we found a piece of property that was perfect for us. We soon learned that it was owned by Lombardo Homes and they were the builders that came with it. We didn't know what to expect, but we knew we wanted the land so we began the process with our eyes wide open. First we searched around for reviews online and saw a lot of comments from people in Michigan. They are newer to the St. Louis area and there was nothing out there about the local team. It concerned us but we figured we would move ahead and begin our own experience knowing if things felt off we could abandon with little harm done (a small up front deposit). We started the process with a Lombardo rep named Jennifer. It immediately felt like a warm welcome. Her communication skills were spot on. She was detailed, efficient, and fantastic to work with (I'm sorry to say I've since learned she has left Lombardo and is now in the real estate business. It makes sense as she knows everything there is to know about looking for a quality home to build or buy. If you're in the market find Jennifer Nolan!) We have always been told building a home is one of the most difficult things someone can do. The amount of detail and decision making that goes into it is intense. But with Lombardo/Jennifer the path was made so simple it became fun. Half of our home ended up being custom so there was a lot of back and forth negotiating and working with them to get it all right, but the end result made it all worth it as we get ready to see our vision come to life. Right before you are set to break ground on the house Lombardo has you go through a "pre-construction" meeting with your rep and the Construction Coordinator who will be responsible for watching over the build to make sure everything is completed correctly. We had Cecil as our Coordinator and if you're lucky enough to have him too, expect an unbelievable quality house. We found that Cecil puts his heart into building homes, Lombardo is lucky to have him and so were we. We lived not to far away from the new build, so I had an opportunity to go almost daily to monitor the progress and watch the level of detail. One of the things I would do is sometimes bring lunch to the guys who worked in the trades. These were all good guys hand picked by Lombardo and they work hard to build your dreams, I wanted to say thanks and show them my appreciation. What I didn't expect is during these trips as the guys were sharing a pizza was for no less than 3 different groups, unsolicited, tell me that Lombardo is one of the best builders in town. One went as far to say that he had been contracted by multiple builders in St. Louis throughout the years (McB., F&F, Payn., etc) and Lombardo "far and away" has the highest standards in the area. They keep their trades honest by performing post work check lists and having them go back to fix if they find problems. It was refreshing to hear this. And again there were MULTIPLE trades that used the phrase "highest standards" about Lombardo. You have no idea how satisfying it is to hear that when you're making the largest investment you may make in your life. Trying not to ramble... If you're looking to build a home with Lombardo in STL, in our experience you have found yourself in good hands. Cecil, Jennifer, and the team in the background absolutely blew us away with the level of detail and care and we're lucky to have had them watch over our build. Jennifer is gone, but Cecil is the guy on the ground that get's things done and makes sure their correct. Hopefully he stays with Lombardo and does not get picked off by another builder with a high offer. If you're thinking of building ask for him and enjoy the experience. Otherwise enjoy the peace of mind that comes with building with the builder in STL with the "highest standards around". Good luck!

I was only provided one portable AC unit, after requesting two. I have a dog and my apartment is currently 80+ degrees. I have asked multiple times for a second portable unit and after being provided one, despite my request to have it also in the living room, they put it in the bedroom. Apartment is still 80+ degrees and I've been told no compensation or reduction in rent will be provided. Instead, it was suggested that both my dog and I be confined to the bedroom while we suffer triple digit heat. Needless to say, I have been staying with family. By the time the AC unit is repaired, it will have been one week since it broke down. It's unfortunate that pay $1365 for a one bedroom apartment that I cannot currently live in. These property owners are out of control leaving renters with little to no options. If you have to rent, do not rent at Aventura at Mid Rivers or any other property managed by MLPP.

I've been a resident here for over eight years. We moved in our apartment when it was brand new…read more The property owners here are too cheap to replace any wear and tear items in your apartment such as flooring. After six years, our old apartments replaced our flooring no questions asked. This place says we need to come up with a $1000 dollars first for a new floor I kid you not. They charge you for literally everything they can inside your apartment in addition to going up on rent 50 to 60 dollars each year. The median rent range in St. Charles Mo for a 2 bd 2 bth averages $1500-$1600 since the pandemic hit. Be warned that the owners here are slowly but surely trying to push the current tenants rent up to the average amount. The problem with that is that the apartment itself is not worth that. Not even close to that. I started out paying $1000 a month and that's currently what its worth given the current condition of it. There's also unsightly rust forming in the breezeways which they haven't fixed. Its not worth it especially if you've been a long time resident residing in the same apartment for many years without having anything replaced. Remember they do not replace anything free of charge. I'm giving two stars for the convenient area and vicinity only. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Especially if you're looking to settle down and spend 4 years or more somewhere. We aren't at all stuck here Thank God and will move somewhere that has value for the price as soon as the opportunity presents itself. The original staff here were a delight. They were always attentive to our needs and weren't fake and phoney to your face. The current staff there are not helpful in the least. The office staff there is so fake to your face. You will definitely see a diffferent side to them if you can't get something they request from you to them fast enough. Our rent is always early and we've been unproblematic there but I doubt any of that is appreciated. STEER CLEAR OF AVENTURA MID RIVERS OR ANY MLP PROPERTY. I do recommend the apartments across the street, Meadow Ridge. I've heard nothing but good things about them and its a good value for your hard earned money over there. It is a property owners market right now with apartments being in such high demand. Tenants are expendable to these rich and wealthy property owners.
