Boy am I glad I found this service! I worked with Matt who was a rockstar at helping my puppy, Archibald go from learning the basic commands into more skilled tricks and behaviors throughout the 6 sessions. Archie very much enjoyed the sessions, always wagging his tail and eager to learn. Matt was always very professional, yet personable/fun. He really seems to have a passion for his job. He taught both my puppy and me a whole lot of valuable information that sets us up on the right foundation from the start together. I am very happy to have invested the time/$$ early on with Tuff Pup Training and would 100% recommend their team to any future dog parents!

She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a natural ability to read our puppy so well. Everything she taught us was practical and genuinely useful. As first-time dog owners, we had a lot to learn, and Sami made it easy to understand our puppy's needs. She always had thoughtful answers and creative ideas we never would have come up with on our own. She was also fantastic at involving our kids in the training, which made the whole experience even more special. On top of that, she's just a wonderful human being. Our puppy was always so excited when Sami came over, which says a lot! We will definitely be scheduling more sessions in the future. After every session, we got an email with a full report on everything we learned, which was super helpful. When we first got a puppy, I didn't think training would be necessary--but now I truly wish for every new dog owner to have someone like Sami.

I'm so glad to have found Philly Unleashed. 2ish years ago I really wanted to get my dog into an…read moreobedience class, but he was very reactive to other dogs. The idea of being in a room full of other dogs without him barking his head off seemed impossible. I discovered that Philly Unleashed offers a class just for reactive dogs (Dogs With Attitude!). I nervously signed up and attended, and quickly learned that the trainers at Philly Unleashed are very experienced, helpful, quick-thinking, and kind. After getting our dog reactivity in check, we were able to attend a series of other classes - obedience, tricks, agility - all of which were unique, fun, and taught me something new about dog training. Between the classes, boarding my dog at Farm Camp, and having one of the trainers come out to our house to help troubleshoot a new behavioral problem, I've had nothing but great experiences working with this group. The tools and techniques I've learned have seriously improved our day-to-day lives, and my relationship with my dog is a lot more positive and fun. Go Philly Unleashed!

With every issue we faced, she sought to figure out how to turn my dog's attentions away from their "naughty " behavior and towards an acceptable alternative. It's worked unbelievably well. We've been working with CJ for almost four months and I can say without question, that these are the most well-trained dogs I've ever had. And, the cherry on top? They LOVE training! If you're on the fence about training, give CJ a try. It's a totally worthwhile investment, something you'll be thanking yourself for many times over, over the years. You can't go wrong!

We were taken directly into the treatment area, where I was able to stay right beside my fur baby. They checked her vital signs, made sure I knew where the restroom was, and even showed me the complimentary snacks and beverages. We didn't have to wait long before Dr. Russell came over, listened carefully as I explained why we were there, and thoroughly evaluated Stella. He quickly identified what was causing her pain and explained everything clearly. Stella received pain medication by injection, and we were sent home with additional medication to keep her comfortable. When it was time for Stella's injection, my sweet girl became a little grouchy. The team handled her with such patience and compassion, moving us into a private room so they could safely care for her away from the open treatment area. That thoughtful accommodation meant so much to me. We arrived at approximately 5:30 a.m. and were home within one to two hours. The cost was absolutely worth it to know my baby had been properly evaluated, treated, and relieved of her pain. I would definitely return, although I sincerely hope we never need another emergency visit! Thank you, Dr. Russell, Nurse Shannon, and everyone at VEG Northern Liberties ER. You took wonderful care of my Stella, and I am eternally grateful.

That doesn't mean the incident didn't happen or that it didn't have devastating consequences. Instead, we lost precious time that we can never get back. We are left grieving the loss.

We had a straight-to-the-point phone consultation the week prior to my appointment. Fast forward to the day of the training session. We met outside my apartment, with the intention of working on my dog to be calm with me leaving briefly in public. The vibe was off as soon as we made our polite but reserved introductions. Instead of listening to my gut, I proceeded with the one-hour training session, wanting to be proven wrong. Spoiler alert, my gut was right. The whole one-hour training session was tinged with an air of judgment and condescension. Curtis made little effort to inquire about behavior management choices and came across as having already made assumptions about me. I tried to volunteer information for context, and I all got was "interesting" or "okay" in a judgmental tone. We eventually moved into my apartment to work on some mental exercises with my dog and the vibe was still off. After a certain point, I felt disempowered from asking questions or speaking up because Curtis didn't really foster a collaborative training environment where I felt like a co-participant. I'd honestly like my money back for feeling this way in my own home. Overall, I would go to another trainer in the future.
