Per Yoav's voicemail: He is no longer taking on clients as he got a job in a restaurant, but you can leave him a message if you want!

We could not be happier with the recommendation as the appetizers and entrées were absolutely stunning -- both in flavor and aesthetics! Our biggest difficulty was choosing dishes from his diverse catalog of offerings since they all sounded delicious. He was also very accommodating and made various adjustments to account for particular food allergies that some of our guests had (without compromising on flavor at all). For appetizers, we chose: - Pepper-Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna (Seka Hills EVOO, Sicilian Pesto, Herbs) - Ratatouille Tarts (Puff Pastry, Seka Hills EVOO, Parmigiano Reggiano) - Pistachio Flatbread (Onion, Burrata, Honey, and Chili Oil -- this one was a extra-huge hit with all guests) For dinner, we started with a Local Harvest Salad (Farm Vegetables, Fruit, Vinaigrette, Cheese, and Nuts -- plating was particularly beautiful for the salad), and had three entrée options: - Wagyu New York Steak (Imperial American Wagyu, Roasted Vegetables, Marinated Portobello Mushrooms, Potato Galette, and Red Wine Jus) - Signature Duck (Mary's Crusted Duck Breast, Hind-Quarter Confit, Potato Cake, Charred Vegetables, and Duck Jus) - Roasted Butternut Squash with Cannellini Beans (Charred Vegetables, Marinated Portobello Mushrooms, and Saffron-Rosemary Broth) Throughout our entire wedding and afterwards, guests were telling us how impressed they were and that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! He and his team arrived right on schedule, set up (including silverware and plates) cooked and served outstanding food, provided extremely attentive service, and then cleaned up, leaving the kitchen absolutely spotless (while also deftly navigating a brief power outage!). We cannot recommend Adam Small Cooks highly enough! His food, attention to detail, and service are truly next level. Thank you again for making our wedding so special!

Chef Adam was amazing!!!…read more We celebrated a friend's birthday with 6 people at an Airbnb in Sonoma. We had a six course menu (see below for details) that was excellent! For the vegetarian in the group (me) he was able to whip up a wonderful dish when everyone else was eating halibut. Every single dish was a stand out and the group was so happy with how everything turned out. This was a wish of the birthday girl - to have a private chef and to spend time with her girlfriends. She was blown away by the experience. The 6 course meal included: Fried Baby Artichokes: lemon aioli, herbs, chili oil Flatbread: preserved truffle, pistachios, onion, burrata, honey, chili oil Ash Roasted Beets: kimchi honey, pistachios, ravigote, feta Charred Zucchini Agnolotti: fried sage, brown butter, lemon, pepper, parmigiana Seared Halibut: fennel-potato salad, herbs, haricot vert, preserved truffle champagne sauce Under-Baked Chocolate Cake: Italian meringue, Luxardo cherries, cocoa nibs Also, our kitchen was left spotless! Thanks again Chef Adam for giving us the perfect first day of our trip!

Appetizers Chicken Lumpia - Can't have a Filipino party. I could not stop picking at this lumpia. Palabok deviled eggs - I don't really eat Palabok and I don't really eat deviled eggs but again I couldn't stop eating this Main Dish - Just know I was the first one to finish my food from our friend group. Lechon pork Sisig - Amazing! Pickled onions was not something I ever thought of to add to sisig.... BBQ Chicken - Full of flavor just the way I expect Filipino BBQ to be. Dessert - Persimmon Babingka - again i do not eat persimmon but the way this was prepared, I wish they were closer to Los Angeles because I would order all the different Babingkas they make.

We did family style and the menu included: 2 Appetizers - Lumpia Shanghai and Palabok Deviled Eggs 1 Salad - Ginger Noodle Salad 2 Sides - Coconut ginger turmeric rice and roasted veggies 2 Mains - Salmon and Lechon Sisig 1 Dessert - Haupia Ube Pie The food was really good, and presentation was beautiful. I debated to get a cake but told myself not to. The Haupia Ube pie alone was perfect. I was supposed to pick up pizzas for the little kids but I didn't have time. I was worried about what my kids would eat, but surprisingly, my picky 5 year old and 3 year old ate the food and Ioved it. I had so many things to worry about, but I did not have to worry about the food. I thought about adding more food, but I didn't and I didn't need to. I didn't have to worry about replenishing the food because their team took care of it. I provided some platters and serving utensils because we have them, and they cleaned it all up. They packed up the left overs in my tupperware, and to-go tupperware for the guests. At the end of the night, my kitchen was clean. It was a huge relief to end the night with a clean kitchen. Also, I was amazed that we only had 1 trash bag at the end of the night, and I attribute it to having a set menu and no party tray food. Everything about the experience was 5 star! The food was great. The team is wonderful. No clean up!! I would totally do this again with them (and I'll order extra to have left overs =)).

I cannot rave about Linda and her staff enough Her food is exquisite from appetizers to dessert ... absolutely delicious with such attention to detail and presentation. Her stories between courses were engaging and endearing ... talking about the recipes she still uses who were her grandmother's and how she procures herbs and veggies from her own garden..... loved it all !! And the food THE BEST SHORT RIBS I have ever tasted. Every epic bite was so full of rich flavor All the food was THE BEST EVER AND the house was left immaculate, everything cleaned and left better than how she found it I cannot recommend Cuisine by Lela more highly. We are a family of two toddlers 14 months apart and two parents working full time. Amy has given us so many hours back in our lives! And its not just getting the hours in these years back that has been wonderful -- we all love her cooking! After many failed attempts of taking the hours to find the perfect pinterest recipes, finding the ingredients at the store, attempting to bake without the kids interrupting and actually trying to have it be edible after coming home from an exhausting day at work I finally gave up. We wanted our kids to eat more than Mac and cheese, hot dogs and pizza. I hired one chef that served us flavorless entrees of meat and veggies. After many rounds of the same 5 dishes we knew we needed someone new. Amy was recommended to me by another parent and we have been blown away. Our kids eat veggies at every meal, both raw and snuck into dishes such as her baked cauliflower casserole, Sausage and Spinach Pasta Bake and Salmon in herb broth with peas. Knowing all too well I lack creativity she sends me suggestions and I pick from her menu for the week ahead. Once a week 2 main dishes and 2 veggie dishes come prepackaged in containers we store in the fridge and freezer depending on the quantities. Leftovers are repurposed for the kids lunches (more hours saved!) and our lunches at work as well. The teachers at our kids' preschool have commented on how impressed they are by what our kids eat and that would not have happened without Amy being in our lives with her delicious dishes. My only drawback is knowing someday my kids will want to learn to cook and we will have to hire Amy to teach us all so we don't burn the house down.

What we didn't expect was that our dinners-at-home suddenly felt like a date-night-in with fantastically prepared mains, complete with side dishes. The Coq au Vin was expertly cooked and falling off the bone and paired perfectly with the brussel sprouts. We also tried the Persian fish stew, which was perfectly spiced for a chilly night and the Eggplant Parm; if I could eat that for the rest of my life, I'd be in heaven. I absolutely recommend Amy if you're looking to simplify your daily to-do's and still get to eat real, healthy, home-prepared food, all for less than the cost of take-out!
