I like hardware stalls. I don't do DIY, ever, but I do like hardware stalls. They remind me of all those 'fun' bank holiday weekends when we used to traipse up and down aisles of MDF and curtain rails before the hammering and cursing began and you knew it was time to head out on your bike for a bit, or else be roped in to help find the 'missing part' of the flat-pack wardrobe.
These days hardware stalls are the places to get my wire and nuts and bolts for making jewellery and fancy dress costumes. It sells much more than that though. Pliers, monkey wrenches, sand paper, screws, nails, clamps, all sorts of DIY usefulness.
