I reached out to Yelp in February due to the safety overflow valve on my water heater leaking. I…read morereceived an immediate reply from khuma with Ebenezer Plumbing and Drainage, who offered to come that evening to deliver a free estimate or the next day if it was more convenient. We set up a time to meet the following day. The next day Khuma texted me when he was in route and arrived on time with his assistant, They both put on shoe coverings before entering my home. After taking a look at the heater he assured me he could check several systems to find the culprit and gave me an estimate. The work was completed in about an hour. He then showed me the various systems he had checked as well as the results. He ended up placing a new valve on the overflow system. He cleaned up the work area when he was done. He also took $50.00 off the quoted estimate and charged me $200.00. I found Khuma to be polite, and concerned. The quality of the work and the knowledge he demonstrated in the type of water heater system was impressive. He even quoted the amount to replace the entire system. I placed his name in my call list under plumbers in case I would need future help. I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing help with a plumbing issue. LB Feb, 2026

When the installers arrived, they discovered plumbing issues and were unable to complete the installation. I submitted a Yelp request for a plumber, and Khuma from Ebenezer Plumbing and Drain Services responded quickly. They offered the best price, fixed the plumbing issues, and installed the dishwasher without any hassle. Before leaving, they thoroughly tested the unit to make sure everything was working properly. Khuma even followed up afterward, just as he promised, to ensure everything was still running smoothly. I really appreciate their professionalism, fair pricing, and follow-through. I'd absolutely recommend Ebenezer Plumbing and Drain Services for any plumbing needs!

TLDR: Excellent work, quick turnaround, OK pricing…read more I contacted Mike's Plumbing when my hot water heater began leaking from what I thought was the bottom (usually signaling the need for a replacement unit). I was able to set up a service date the very next day first thing in the morning and they arrived well within the estimated time window. The plumber, Chris, was able to diagnose my system and landed on the fix being a replacement expansion tank, pressure relief valve and a new hot water cutoff valve. Total cost of work was $900+, which fell towards the high side for this range of work, but I decided to proceed due to the job needing to be completed ASAP. The job took approx. 90 minutes to complete and once done, I was beyond satisfied with the quality of work. My previous setup was mostly shark bites and mediocre materials while the work Chris performed consisted of the proper fittings and quality materials. Fast forward a few days and the fix has not leaked a single drop! Overall, I could have shopped this around and gotten cheaper quotes for the same scope of work by a couple hundred bucks, however I don't think the quality of work would have been as nice and with such quick turnaround.

I definitely give Mikes Plumbing 5 stars (wish I could give them more) and will recommend them to all my friends. Thank you Mikes Plumbing, great job!

They asked me what the issue was, took a few notes I suppose, and scheduled someone to come to my place in 30 minutes. The gentleman arrived on time and looked at the issue and took photos. Then he started acting sus. First, he didn't want me to lock the house when he walked in. I didn't get that. Then asked me how many rooms I had and how many people lived in the house ( how does any of that concern him? ). Once I took him to the source, he told me what he thought the problem was and said he couldn't fix it. Fair enough. I walk him out and then he goes he'll "charge $145 only". I understood what he meant but still asked him if it was to fix the problem. He said "no fix, too high (location of issue). I come, tell you problem, $145". He was trying to extort me and obviously I didn't fall for it but wondered if people actually did fall for it. He gestured that he'll write me a receipt for $145 and I told him he could do what he wanted because I wasn't paying. The company rep on the phone explicitly mentioned there was no charge to look at the issue. His command over English wasn't the best, he's Asian looking and his name was Gah/ Hah / Ga / Ha. I wish I'd taken it down to report him.
