We have been here twice now ordering different things, and the food is awesome tasting. They use fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch. The beans are the best I've eaten. Last week, Shakira served us and was the bartender as well, covering the house with grace and ease. This evening, Natalie was our server, and she did awesome work keeping us happy. Thank you both. On a nice course....servers are nice, pathetically managed or owned. We went there yesterday and spent $60 dollars on trash! I thought that refried beans and "Mexican" rice couldn't be ruined...wrong This is a concert venue and will only inflame golfers! They keep using the "soft opening" as an excuse...nope, bought off on that over a month ago. It's only gotten worse and even the staff is embarrassed . The food is nothing a real Mexican would serve. 2 waitress for 250 people...you have got to be kidding . The music on Thursdays is great but they have to do something with service! I'd give 0 stars. Saturday afternoon when there was music on patio. No service at table. I had to go to bar and stand in line to order drink. Like an assembly line, no b personality from staff. Ordered bloody Mary and Sprite. Evidently they don't offer rail as the bloody Mary they made me was Titos w bloody Mary mix, 2 olives in the bottom of the glass and in a plastic cup. I didn't ask for call Vodka. $12 !!! $12 !!! That's totally not necessary! A plastic cup of Sprite, 90% ice was $3.50!! 12 oz cups! There are so many other venues in Yuma where we can see the same musicians and pay less than half of the cost of a drink than at Tipsy Cactus. And I would guarantee the bloody Mary would be so much better and olives would be on a stick rather than dropped in the bottom of the glass. Don't waste your time checking this place out. We visited during Kelly Hughes performance on March, 2026. The whole staff was great, but Connie, our waitress, was fantastic. Despite being extremely busy with the giant crowd, Connie made sure we were supplied with drinks and her super upbeat personality made the afternoon a lot of fun. This place is amazing the only complaint is the manager who wouldn't close the doors due to the flies that were annoying. She acted greater than thou, and mico-managed everyone when it wasn't needed at all! She was more of a nuisance than a help to anyone. read more

We went to the new restaurant at the Executive Golf Course because we have gone frequently to the old establishment. We were exited to hear that they had remodeled and had food! We had seen one bad review, but wanted to support them. We ordered margaritas and guacamole and chips. Excellent guac and salsa. Margaritas okay, but they didn't ask if we wanted salt. None, but no big deal. We decided to order dinner. We ordered the rolled tacos, enchilada, chimichanga and machaca. Not bad food and prices okay. We decided we would give the place another try later. The wait staff was good, but need training and confidence. Then we got the bill which was confusing! What's with the upcharge for a normal margarita? The bar staff sad it was for the triple sec. Do you make a margarita without it. We could never understand her explanation. She finally said she was going to comp us for the $8 charge. She gave us another bill and comped us $1.60! What? The margarita was fairly large, but we didn't think it had a double shot. We are disappointed how this was handled. We are 4 old people, but not stupid! We won't be going back! read more
