This turned up to be an accidental upgrade which the staff later acknowledged and even apologised for (there was no need!) There is a sports TV at the back, which can easily be avoided at the front. The garden is huge and they have an outdoor cinema in the summer and frequent craft fairs and craft beer/cider festivals. The building was formerly the main Post Office building in Tonbridge, then a Quasar laser game, then the heaving alchoholic monstricity that is the pub it still is today. Cheap and soulless are the buzzwords of the Wetherspoons franchise and well they do them. Many a night I've lost under endless rounds of black sambuca chased by gallons of unwholesome rums and whiskeys. Never a stable foot leaves this place and nor should it for who would want to remember what lies outside..Tonbridge.

I like the large ceilings and the relaxed atmosphere of this traditional looking place. It looks out onto the street corner too, so its nice to look out at the people and cars.
