We revisited Taphouse to enjoy snacks while watching world cup game. This place is a great neighbourfood pub to watch game. There are many TV display all around the restaurant. We got french fries and chicken wings. Chicken wings had a great deal 69 cent each. It was ok. French fries had very good deals with generous portion. The taste was great. They were very crispy with thick cut. Taphouse was a nice place to watch game and enjoy snack. Happy hours deal was great, too. read more

It was okay. I enjoyed my beef dip sandwich though fries would have been nicer as fresh cut. Enjoyed that even at 7 pm, it was still quiet for a Friday night. Apparently it becomes a dance floor where we were seated and that was the calm before the storm. Husband's burger was burnt, so we appreciated that our server took it away and comped us a new one. Kids seemed to enjoy their food. Place is noisy with sports games on the TVs. Parking is a little challenging in the underground lot but I liked that it was free. If coming to this building, I prefer the Wild Fig for brunch. Great service. Average food. Unmemorable atmosphere. read more

I am writing this review to be as unbiased as possible. I went over to socialize with a group of five people I met at the pub. Four of them were perfectly cool, but this one guy was being incredibly rude and told me to get out. All I said in response was, "Calm down," with a smile on my face. I then asked his friends what the issue was, and they explained that they had paid for the table. I apologized and prepared to head out, but before I could leave, the guy became extremely rude again. I repeated, "Calm down," and that is when he pulled a knife on me. When he saw that I wasn't threatened by the knife, he went and reported me to security. Then, the security guards had the absolute audacity to tell me that I had to leave because I was the one with a knife, claiming it was caught on camera. I told them straight up: search me right now and show me the video. They refused to do either. Sure, okay. Scrapping my personal experience entirely, if I were to ever go here again, I now know for a fact that there are groups of intoxicated people carrying knives or weapons inside this venue, even after security claims they search people at the door. Ridiculous. read more

The classic bar style aroma. I've been here on a regular day just for a meal and also on a Saturday night party and loved it both ways. The food is quite delicious and the service is wonderful. The staff checked on us quite frequently in a positive way. Although keep in mind... do not take any kids here or anyone under 19 (even on a regular day). Although the one thing I could say is that even though I found the food to be quite delicious, it may not look as appealing as it tastes. Secondly, I got a 1 ounce Bellini and I could barely taste the alcohol in it like I normally would at other places... it tasted more sweet as if the alcohol was never there. read more

we had reservations for a brunch get together with about 20 people from work on a sunday at 11:30 am, and we were the only people in the place. underground complimentary parking is available, you will need to scan a qr code at the front and enter your license plate. our server was friendly and did her best, but to be fair, they were understaff and she could have used an extra pair of hands. she initially thought it was sunday and got us excited to hear that it was happy hour all day, and then apologized for giving us wrong information. she tried to keep our group in seat assignments and asked us not to move around to avoid confusion with our orders, and ensure accuracy of separate bills. this proved to be difficult as more people came in, and the tables were pulled together to make one long table. there was so much catching up, people were mingling that i didn't hear when the server called out my spinach and avocado benny. someone had noticed that my order had sat on the side for about ten minutes. she offered to send my order back, as one of the yolks was broken, i was reluctant at first, as our group needed water and coffee refills, and ketchup. i also thought it would take too long and was famished, but when she asked again and offered to send it back, i did take her up on the offer after taking a first bite. i took the tater tots and ate that as she took the eggs benny away. the eggs benny was bland, i couldn't taste the hollandaise sauce, but the tater tots were crispy. read more

Me and my bf came here for dinner and we sit down and one of the servers tells us it's 19 + past 9:30 but it was only 745 and the website said nothing about this and we made a whole reservation and they wouldn't even let us order food and we had to leave even tho we did nothing read more

Service was amazing! My mom and i went over the weekend. Raya was our server and she was so kind and provided really great service.

Looks like Pint 405 has now reincarnated into a Taphouse. Parking is available in the parkade next to the building. Not sure if this place registers plates for free parking, but the hotel next door (Executive Inn) has a list for sure. The interior is mostly unchanged from Pint. There's a cool Beer History wall mural though, in the games area. They have billiards, foosball, and skee-ball, as well as some pinball and coin-op machines. Staff were friendly, but service was a bit slow. Beers here are definitely on the pricier side. Appetizers are tasty. Special mention to the deep fried pickles. I also tired the nachos, ribs, poutine, and potato chips. No complaints. Decent place overall, though not worth a special trip out. read more

Which one of the kitchen staff just got cheated on?! Could he stop taking it out on the loyal customers?! We ordered the $23 taco salad and ended up with this embarrassing amuse bouche. As you can see, there were no black beans, no sweet corn, green onions, jalapeños, fresh cilantro or chipotle aioli as described and there was LITERALLY more chicken on one of my hot wings than the salad. (I could fit the tiny shreds of chicken on two tablespoons) I swear it also came with the same amount of lettuce as what was on the burger we ordered. Our flat bread also showed up totally burnt but room temperature and the restaurant is only 4 min from us. It's too bad- we've ordered from here many times but this is just too horrible to go back. read more

If you're coming for food, don't, it's not good - Baked Mac & Cheese tastes like nothing, worse than frozen counterpart -Nachos are ok, if you like corn it's got it Waitress disappeared for 20min to go talk to another customer when we needed the bill Music is way too loud, even during the day read more

This used to be my old watering place and now its been completely revamped and modernized. Been to a few locations and all have been trash so far. This is location is my favourite one by far. The food and drinks are amazing. My burger had the biggest piece of chicken I have ever seen!!! Music and atmosphere is so chill and even though you cant smoke outside anymore, bouncers are so friendly and remember who you are so there always never any problems. I had reservations for a birthday and they set my section up with some decor and reserved our table, made me feel very welcomed! Thank you!! read more

I bought this through Uber eats. It's so disgusting. The fish was small and fried in old oil. There was barely any fries and I asked for a small salad. The fries were cold and gross. No ketchup was sent. Basically a waste of 18.00. I will never be ordering from this place again. People think they can send whatever they want because the food is paid for and they expect me to support local businesses. read more

Food sucks. I have extremely low standards for pizza and Mac and cheese. Decided to splurge on a date night for me and my son while baking cookies... ordered pep pizza and baked Mac and cheese. Food arrived IVE COLD, but not only that you could just tell the lack of care and quality. Like it's pub food on a delivery service - it doesn't have to blow my mind but it was so terrible I actually felt the need to write a review. Horrible flavour, and quality. Never again. read more

Meh. This place is so confusing. Seriously Sunday and Monday it was half a loud party with no one on the dance floor making the pub too noisy to sit and visit.... The service was by no means amazing. It wasn't bad but a couple times I am glad I wasn't thirsty. It depended on the server really, one night was great... the next not so much. The food though was tasty! It is good if you are in the hotel and want a bite. However the 'locals / regulars' (I assume) seem to love the place. Had we not been in the hotel beside, I doubt I would have gone back. Which is sad because the interior is awesome! It looks like it has huge potential.... read more

The servers in this place are the worst in the entire world, they think they can just stand around with their eyelashes and not actualy work, I took 3 pictures of them standing around the computer, twisting their hair and on their phones , 15 minutes before anyone=noticed us there. Food sucked also, and absolutely no management around ....... you get tipped for your service, which was absolutely nothing, and that was too much. read more

This place is definitely a dinner and a show situation. The show being a gaggle of affected teenagers wander food around to wrong table after wrong table before circling back to home base only to come back out and do it all again. The service is abysmal and the food is a solid meh. Life hack: Don't go here. read more

Attention ladies!! I've been here twice (2X!!) and both times a young lady in our group was drugged. Both went to the ER and toxicology reports showed it was NOT an alcohol issue. I have heard of others having the same experience here. Although I know this happens in many places the management here were not interested in any way to acknowledge nor help even with the ambulance parked in front of the place. in fact they wouldn't let us back in to notify friends that there was an issue! So between the management and odds of this happening here somewhat regularly i'd ask all women to reconsider where they go to have fun, and be careful. read more

If I could give them 0 start I would. They kicked us out when my sister was punched by a guy in the face.. made us feel like it was our fault. Very poor management and security. Honestly, we were treated horribly, they let the guy home even though we wanted to press charges, didn't assist with calling the cops, or even help my sister. Just kicked us out and treated us horribly. Never in my life have I seen such poor treatment and behaviour from security and management. Would not recommend going here for a fun night out. Anywhere else will 100% treat you better! Also they told us they would only release the guys info to the cops and turns out that they don't "keep track of anybodys ID or records when they enter EVEN tho they take pics of your ID before you get in. Sounds like if you're friends with the bouncers or owner they will let you get away with assaulting a girl. Never in my life have I seen a place like this. Even the smaller clubs/pubs keep track of who comes and goes. Clearly they are lying and covering it all up just so they don't have to deal with having a bad security system where all the bounces and team members are on a power trip. read more

Incredible taste. Great variety for the whole family. And an amazing business that supports youth sports too.

The Taphouse in my opinion is being unfairly treated by the media, Global in particular. Owen the Manager is continually cleaning the entire place to a spotless condition. From the front door to the Washrooms are in what appears to be Brand New Condition from vigorous cleaning. The minor problem was nothing to do with the operation. Nothing to do with the Kitchen, the Staff, the tables, the food. The operation is and has been run like a well oiled machine with Customer Concern and Health the primary focus on this Managers' mind. Again today we had lunch and every precaution was taken to leave us assured that we had nothing to worry about. As usual the Food and Service was extraordinary. read more

I find the staff very friendly, the food that I have tried was good the one problem I have is the patio beside the front door. The patio by the front door is where all the smokers go and the smoke is overcoming when you're trying to enjoy the fresh air outside? I wish I had an answer but if you have any breathing problems, I would avoid the patio. read more

BEST NEW BAR in Coquitlam without a doubt. So good to see a modern take on the old Foggy Dew location. Haven't tried many of the food items yet but the menu looks great and the specials are great! Ah meh it was ok but nothing memorable. Fish and chips a 2/5. The chips are food service cavendish prebattered fries. Not fresh real, home made chips. Cavendish fries are kind gross of IMO. Tartar sauce tasted super fatty and weird. Creole prawns were 5 for $15 appetizer!! The prawns were nice and properly cooked. But, the issue was that the spice in creole is NOT intended to be super hot. However I love spice and heat and this was almost inedible based on heat, never again until corrected. Creole is in tended to be flavourful and not just hot. Whoever developed this recipe does not understand the difference between cajun and creole food. read more

Been here quite frequently since moving around the corner a couple months ago. I've left happy every time. Great service, very attentive but not to the point of being annoying. Tried many different items on the menu, everything has been very tasty. Simple food but done well. I recommend the steak tacos and poutine (you can add tender beef) in particular. Drinks have also been very good, good selection of beers on tap and one of the best tasting bellinis I've had (they also make a solid margarita). Overall, this has now become our go-to spot for a drink and a great place to meet up with friends given it's central location. Looking forward to coming here for hockey games soon. read more

The biggest reason for going here is the scenery. The waitresses are all quite attractive but the food and drinks are pretty hit and miss. Ive been there now about 3 times, the mixed drinks are pretty weak, I believe they measure everything out, although they do have a decent beer selection on tap. The food is really hit and miss... the burger I got last night had the million dollar bacon on it and was pretty good. I've ordered the pretzel before and it too was quite good, although they need a beer cheese to go along with it instead of the sweet mustard. I've tried the wings and ribs as well and liked those least of all. The ribs were tiny, bite sized ribs with no meat on them at all. The wings were ok but had a ton of breading on them, some of which was falling off when trying to eat them. read more

Third time I've tried this place and the food is still terrible. Wont try it again.
