I reached out to Tony and asked about an appraisal to remove PMI. He said he did them all the time…read moreand it was straight forward. He came to our house for about 30 minutes to do a walk through and take some pictures. He was a bit rude and kept dismissing features or improvements I mentioned. I get not all of them impact the appraised value but he was so rude about it and kept mentioning his extensive court background and how the "other guys" doing appraisals were idiots and over inflating everything. I did not need the full legal process mansplained to me as we were literally just trying to get proof of value increase to get rid of our mortgage insurance. He kept addressing my husband and catering to him even though I was the customer. It's my house, I scheduled the appraisal, and paid the damn thing. Lastly, about an hour after he left I heard back from my mortgage company and they don't accept 3rd party appraisals. The expert Tony claims to be, and he didn't know this? Lastly, he said he already paid the county so he could only refund me $100 out of the $500 I paid. Even though he said it was take 2-3 weeks to complete the report. What a freaking scam.

I cannot recommend Kylle at America's Auto Appraisers highly enough!…read more I recently went through a total loss claim with State Farm, and the initial Actual Cash Value (ACV) offer was nowhere near what my vehicle was actually worth. A few days ago, I had an appraisal done by Klara. She was very patient when my dogs got back in…read morethe house and bombarded her. She remained professional despite their crazy:-) As far as the appraisal, she took her time, she explained the process and answered my questions. We went over the upgrades I've made. I told her I did want her to wear a mask. She showed up with the mask in her hand and not on her face. Then, once she put the mask on, she didn't cover her nose. She could tell we were bothered by this, so she explained that she had tested 2 weeks prior so "she is all good"...and then went further to say she thinks she had COVID in March, so she is immune. Clearly not the brightest bulb in the box. Our children came to us complaining that she had come in their room and wasn't wearing her mask properly, children understand the concept and she doesn't. She also entered a room with a closed-door without knocking first and walked in on my husband half-naked. A normal person would say, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry...and go back out the door. However, this lady is not normal. She didn't apologize and continued walking around the room to take photos.
