It's run by a couple of young men and they bring a true dedication to this business. Fabulous range and quality of beers and excellent, simple food. In times when other pubs struggle and go out of business this place is thriving and deservedly so. There are a number of these types of pubs that have appeared in Oxford These places have a good clientel who enjoy the atmosphere and the banter. It's like the re-invention of the pub with all the bad old thuggish bits taken out and the wonderful traditional bits kept in. Whenever I have eaten there and there have been young children present, they have never been a problem.
