We had already been researching replacements and Husnik was at the top of our list, but we were hoping to wait until spring. Unfortunately, the well pump failed on Thanksgiving--best laid plans. Mike was responsive, calm, and incredibly thorough. He explained that there was significant sediment buildup and made it clear he could get water on quickly, but that it wouldn't be good-quality water. Instead, he came back Saturday to properly clean out the well, install a new pressure tank, and replace the pump--doing the job the right way. During what felt like a true household crisis (no running water really changes your perspective!), Mike went above and beyond. When he realized Friday night that our water wouldn't be restored until Saturday, he even offered to let us refill empty water jugs at his business. That kind of thoughtfulness and integrity is rare. He cleaned out 30 feet of our kitchen piping that had caused both sinks to back up and stop draining (okay, I put too much of the wrong stuff in the garbage disposal the night before). Problem solved in about an hour. Then I asked him to check the laundry room drain that had been intermittently slightly backing up. Again, problem solved!
