My brother and I were looking for a place to work while we were waiting for traffic to subside. Since CBTL and the other WiFi cages were full, we decided to try this place out.
When we arrived the tables were all already taken because students were prepping for their turn to defend their thesis. Their professor was in one of the private cubicles. Yep. Definitely brought me back to my college days... In a scary, eye twitching way. Anyways, the server told us we could have a cubicle to ourselves if we bought Php500 worth of food. Pretty fair deal.
We ordered the Three Cheese Pizza, Lechon Kawali with Dried Sinigang Rice, Truffle Pasta and Shawarma Fries. The pizza, pasta and Lechon Kawali (don't forget the vinegar sauce) were my favorites! Super legit big servings and they do not scrimp on the flavor factor. Yes, the pizza did have 3 types of cheese on it and was crisp. I could smell the pasta even before it arrived at our cubicle. The sinigang rice with the fatty lechon was delicious. Imagine you're paying student prices for food that tastes fantastic and is also good for sharing. Super sulit!
The only down side is that it is a "study place" and we weren't able to fully work while we were here. The cubicles were not built for big people. I'm 5'4" and my bro is 5'9"; we filled the cubicles and couldn't move that move. It was also cumbersome to pick up our own food. The WiFi was also spotty. But, it think it was because the students were mostly downloading heavy files (aka movies or TV series) and they were definitely hogging the bandwidth.
All in all, it is a quiet place and they have 3 separate WiFi networks you can join. My suggestion is that you get a table. That way you will be more comfortable and nearer the food counter. :) read more
