They have two counters where you can make your own candle scent. It is so fun!!!! You tell them six scents you like and pick a container. They all cost about $25 for a medium sized candle. Then mix away. The counter hosts offer support during the whole process. Wax is poured and you label. Two hours later you can return to pick up the set candle. My kid mixed mango, orange and lavender- I am shocked by the amazing scent!!!! It's FIRE!!!! Party space is available and they sell a variety of personal items or premade candles also. It's one of the first places I think of if throwing a party for a certain time of year. Also, with the scarcity of stores that still sell fabric and sewing notions- they have a decent selection of both for my sewing projects. They also carry some decor fabrics and upholstery type fabrics. The staff is always helpful and if the front registers get busy they don't hesitate to open more up. Look for the sale items- they are always a good value.

This past weekend marked the grand opening of this brand new Joann Fabrics location in Hamilton,…read morejust down the road from Bridgewater Falls. They really did it up for the grand opening. The place was decked out..they had some fun stuff for kids to do too like a guy making balloon animals and a coloring station. The place was pretty packed and there was a fun energy in the store. This location took over the spot that was previously held by Office Max..and let me tell you..it's a big improvement. That poor Office Max always seemed so..depressing. I remember wandering in there on a random Black Friday a couple years ago..oh man..so drab and depressing. JoAnn Fabrics for sure has a much better vibe. I'm not necessarily much of a "crafty" kind of person..but every time I go into a store like this it sooo makes me want to start some random craft project. I never do..but I want to..ha..maybe some day. Anywho, there were a lot of employees working and they did a great job handling the big crowd. Everybody was nice and welcoming as well. So yeah, I would have to say, a very solid location overall and a definite great addtion to this shopping area.
