Now, Murfreesboro has The Avenue where most of the stores have moved to. This mall does not offer anything great and to be honest, the stores that are there don't offer the best selection compared to their other locations. The only time I go here is for contacts at LensCrafters, or to visit the bar that's attached. They do have a few good stores, but this mall is definitely not my first stop. Now, after saying all that. They are getting an amazing movie theater (you know the one with comfy seats, and you can order a drink and food from your seat) in the upcoming year. I'm sure this is going to bring more stores and options to this mall. We will see!

It's a hit or miss on pricing, some vendors charge outrageous prices for the smallest of items whereas others are more reasonable. I do wish that when I asked other Painted Trees who to contact that they would have told me and not me having to reach out on Facebook to see if anyone can help. Another vendor, that I don't know, told me who to email. I didn't like that it was such a secret. I received my first payment last week after not getting paid for several months. I think that they are finally stepping up and helping vendors out as I am not the only one this has happened to.

However, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how things were organized. I found a set of pots and pans, but they were sitting on a dining table set without any sort of packaging or pricing. Then when I went looking for assistance, the employees were clustered in one part of the store. Will all the disorganization, lack of service, and weird/cold atmosphere, I decided to leave without purchasing anything. If you aren't looking for anything in particular, you might find a good deal, but if you have something specific in mind, I'd recommend shopping somewhere else.

What was the dozen of items included a rack with Easter items; Easter was almost 2 months ago. Both my husband and I found the ad to be very misleading. I graduated from college back in the 70's with a degree in retailing and worked in the industry for a number of years. While the woman behind the counter made light of our complaints I remember this type of advertising being labeled as "bait and switch" We did purchase a couple of items and when we got home they charged a service fee on our purchase for using a credit card. It would have been nice if like other retail establishments and restaurants you indicated there would be a service charge for using a card. Well folks you lost our future business. The owner responded to my review . There was no sign indicating a charge for Credit card purchases on the counter at the point of sale as she indicated in her response. And I copied and pasted the exact wording in quotes in my review via the email we received regarding the sale.. I have viewed Instagram videos over the years and the owner cashed me out. If you look at another review on this site they also indicated prices had gone drastically up. The one true statement is no one pressured us to buy anything,

What this business had that made it stand out was EXCELLENT antique toys in VERY good condition; I saw some fantastic, quality toys here-- SEE PICS! And I noticed a large toy/sign/car booth in the back right corner that had lots of mid century or newer vintage toys-- SEE PIC. Should you stop in, check out the rewired & refinished antique radios-- many gorgeous ones! The one thing that I love/hate about this place is the fact that they have seasonal items. So one day they're here the next day they're gone. The good news is I know that it's coming back next season. They always have fast and friendly service. And the employees are just so pleasant. When the store may be sometimes full of other clients, it doesn't typically take too long to check out. Aisles are plenty wide to allow patrons to get past each other.
