It is the cheapest snack there... thirty euro for a big one); Ever since I came back to Hong Kong, I have to say that most kebab places here do not deliver... I know it is supposed to be fast food but come on, that does not mean we just want to stuff ourselves without tasting it. All is about to change guys. I came across this AMAZING Turkish place on Lamma Island. The owner is from Turkey so that is going to make you feel more confident about this place. I recommend to have the kebab instead of the burgers here as its kebab is rather tasty. However, I have to warn you guys first. For some reason, its kebab is not made from sliced meat. You know, those you will see the staff slicing meat off a rotating BBQ loaf. I am not sure how they prepare this but the meat is not sliced but chucks. The only reason I still give such high mark is because it tastes really good still. However, I am not sure if that is really authentic kebab; anyways, the flavor is rather impressive. Please expect to wait for your food with patience. Since this is a rather popular place and they only make the food after we order, you have to wait for a bit for the food. But I am telling you, it will be worth it.

The only thing I would say about this is that it was very noisy, which was to be expected! And it was lovely to see the kids playing on the beach, but if you were after a quieter affair maybe best to visit this lovely park island restaurant on a weeknight, instead of at the weekend. Food was lovely, modern Italian food. Very refreshing and light after some of the heavy stodgy Italian food available in Hong Kong. I had the Grilled Chicken and Aubergine Salad with Chickpeas, which was delicious! My colleague had the Italian pizza which was very authentic and had a crispy thin base; which all the pizzas comes like here. So if you like deep pan pizzas, best to give them a miss here! I would definitely return (maybe on a less noisy weekday evening!) and try a risotto or a pasta.

Reservations are a good idea for big parties. My friends said the ribs weren't that great, but other than that, we loved the starters, the red house wine at HH prices, the friendly service, and I loved my spaghetti. Pizzas are big, very thin crust, and it's got great views and a chance for the kids to run around and play. A+.

What a completely wonderful French (Mediterranean?) restaurant in Central. Simple, elegant and…read moreoutlandishly delicious. The tables are all set up with small clusters of organic tomatoes in the center, the idea being that the guests would enjoy them with olive oil as a starter. It's relatively new in Hong Kong, having just opened this October 2018 - it has already been nominated as the Tatler's Readers' Choice award for Best New Restaurant. Nigerian born Chef Patron Raphael Duntoye has outdone himself with his extraordinary menu. We started with the Beignets de fleurs which are lightly battered (crispy on the outside, soft inside) friend zucchini flowers. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I could eat these daily. The Crevettes Tièdes à l'Huile d'Olive - warm prawns with olive oil were so tasty and seasoned just right, so we could taste the freshness of the sea with the olive oil. Carpaccio de Sériole - yellowtail carpacio had just the right amount of thinly sliced hot pepper to give it that extra emphasis. Divine. Poivrons Marinés à l'Huile d'Olive the roasted peppers were smoky flavored but not charred so we enjoyed the freshness of the peppers untarnished. Betteraves Marinées marinated beetroot tasted roasted and marinated and was bursting with flavor. Coquelet aux citrons confits baby chicken with lemon confit was aromatic and tender with a slightly crispy skin. Delicious. White truffles in pasta - what words could describe the wonder affiliated with tasting this amazing dish? The pan fried dover sole was fragrant and tasted like it was just caught within the hour - the freshness was unmatched. To top it all, we had the passion fruit, coconut and mango sorbet with their signature French toast, which tasted like the top of a creme brulee. This has now become my favorite restaurant in Hong Kong. It is that good.

The restaurant serves 'new Mediterranean' food, honestly I don't even know what this means, it's just western food to me. My friend and I shared a burger and a mushroom truffle quesadilla, and they did it right!! Service was good, since there were so little people there, they also had a nice and big terrace area if you wanna sit outdoor. Decor was nice and modern, perfect for a weekend brunch. There's a Sunday brunch deal with free flow champagne apparently, you can go to their rooftop bar for 'after party' where DJ spins their magic. Gotta check that out some day! I do think they deserve to be a little busier, maybe Sunday is more happening than Saturday.

It was close to 9 already and the restaurant was quite empty but it was lovely because it wasn't loud and the place was starting to wind down a bit. We ordered the LEBANESE GOATS CHEESE SALAD, TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE, and the HAND ROLLED FRESH FETTUCCINE AGLITO. The salad was a bit on the bitter side, but it was well made up with the great fettuccine and the mac & cheese. ENJOY! ** The servers were absolutely delightful, they gave great suggestions on sightseeing in HK/ transportation.

This place was pretty fancy for lunch, but of course it's all about the location, location, location. It's a very intimate and provides its guest with enough room to have a private conversation. We started out with the Spanish tortilla omelette. Which was perfectly cooked. The Omelette had a lot of flavors and is best enjoyed hot. We also go the crispy suckling pig, which was huge. It's hard to share this with two people, might be best to share it with 3 or 4 people. Now comes the dish of the century, yes i said century! The Hokkaido Sea Urchin tagliolini. This dish was out of this world! It wasn't too heavy and had to perfect amount of sauce and uni to make it such an addicting dish. We ended up getting two of this because we regretted sharing the dish. Most uni dishes I've had in the states were either too heavy or were too bland, but this was just truly amazing! If only I can grab it to-go and bring it with me on my flight back. For dessert they had the caramelized apple tarte tatin. It was a little on the sweet side, so we weren't able to finish it. But adding the vanilla ice cream made it better. Overall,I would return to this place, but next time, i'm going to order at least three plates of the Hokkiado Sea Urchin Tagliolini, or MORE!
