When I politely indicated I was next in line, the budtender ignored the standard first-come-first-serve process. When I spoke up, instead of a simple 'I'll be right with you,' he chose to argue and condescendingly suggested that I hadn't been 'paying attention' because I was looking at the display cases with my back to him. It was a frustrating, dismissive and belittling experience that felt entirely unnecessary / disrespectful.
