I came here by the referral of someone completely random and saw my hair style awhile back. I have a comb over hair style with my sides and back being high and tight and faded close to the skin to an almost near zero. I always go to my man John to cut my hair; he's the fade master and an artist when it comes it cutting hair. He is so meticulous in how he cuts my hair and takes his time to make sure that each single strand of hair is how it should be. I would caution though that his specialty is fades but I know he can cut other styles as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can almost always find the employees having unfiltered conversations with patrons there which can be amusing. $8 for a hair cut is a steal. And it's only $4 on Mondays and Wednesdays which is insane. The only downside I can think of is that they don't have blow dryers but it's not the end of the world. Great prices and the best hair cut I've ever had will make me a customer for a very long time.

It's a really clean barber shop, almost like walking into a black Super Cuts Normally i like a barber shop where MTV Jams is blasting on the T.V and the conversations are on the shady side. But it was a good thing there wasnt excessive booty on the T.V when i brought my 2 year old son in a week later. I got my hair cut by Marcus he was cool enough, he did a good job and he also cut my son up well. Adult hair cuts are 15 and kids are 10. So it wont hit your pockets that much.

He now swims year around at the Princess Anne Y and I find myself back at Trashmore today which seems odd. Tide Swimming continues to use this location for age-group swimmers. The Trashmore YMCA could be the oldest at the Beach. It most certainly is the most central. Located off I-264 and I'm sure you pass it often and wonder how to access. There are two entry points off Independence. Southern and Edwin both take you into the Y. Parking is typically adequate, but usually full in front. The only way to enter is the front. The parking lot and walk up often has debris like it did today. This Y features an indoor and outdoor pool which is my primary reason for coming with my son who is a club swimmer. The 6 lane 25 meter indoor is old and rough, but they keep the water clean. Maintenance is an issue. A lot of rust can be seen including an overhead roof access that's a rusty mess. There is spectator seating to watch lessons. I believe all lessons are conducted in this pool. A small youth locker room off deck as well as an adult locker room. In the past they have been challenged on cleanliness. The outdoor 8 lane 25 yard recreation pool also has a small adjacent water park only used in warm months. This is the pool that my son would mainly practice in. It's in great shape and swim is year around when bubbled in the Fall and removed in Spring. There are no restrooms off deck. Other programming I'm familiar with is Spin and Yoga, but they have much more. Cardio and weight rooms are divided. The Trashmore Y has several classrooms that are used for programming. One of the most popular features of the center is childcare. The final aspect of my write up highlights staff that I have encountered over three years. This includes front desk check-in and aquatics. I have been very pleased with their professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness. Lots of examples of going above and beyond for our family. I think a 3.5 suits them, but rounding down due to aging of the building and maintenance.
