A ton of people came here the night we did to watch the Australian rugby match of the New South Wales Blues vs the Queensland Maroons. They have a big screen that comes down from the ceiling to show games. It was a little weird ordering here because they want you to scan a QR code at the table, but then my credit card wouldn't work for paying. So I had to go up to the bar and order there. Then, they'll give you a number and someone will bring you your food. The $21 corn ribs were perfect. The side of broccolini was above average. The potatoes were the best item. I liked my burger too. Good spot to grab some beers, enjoy the view, and watch a game. Pretty cheap food that is better than just bar food.

The Squire's Landing sits right at the tip of two views, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It's picture perfect! The food was delicious 10/10 and the staff were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions.

First time visit to Squires Landing and it did not disappoint! We took tree train into town and walked to Squires. We went on a Saturday around noon. We had a very large group but we're easily accommodated. There are tables of various sizes inside & outside. Almost every table has a beautiful view of the harbor bridge. We sat at a couple of tables upstairs. Ordered our drinks at the bar then went back to order our food. It didn't take long for our food to come out. Everything we had was good! You really cannot beat the views here.

Food was hot fresh and tasty. The staff friendly and courteous. The view classic Sydney.

Halloumi, octopus, prawns, mussels

The view was incredible! Seated in the small, circular, upstairs dining room with a window of walls, we were mesmerized by the sweeping views of the harbour. From the large, round, wooden table in the center of the room, we saw the opera house in front of us and the harbour bridge to the left. Could it get any better? Well...yes, with the food. Mussels and wood-fired prawns, octopus, and haloumi were our starters. Each dish was large enough to share and the flavors were well balanced. Our entrees included the paper bark wrapped and smoked salmon, local seafood fettuccine, pan fried filet of the day (barramundi), wood fired whole fish (snapper), and premium rib filet. Sides of steamed broccolini and crispy brussel sprouts rounded out the meal. The stars of the night were the snapper, fettuccine, and rib filet. The steak was so good, even without the bone in. But that whole fish was a beauty to behold. The fish really shined with their preparation of it. For dessert we tried the deconstructed banoffee pie which was so decadent and heavy, dark chocolate fondant, mango and honey panacotta which was semi-sweet and light, and sorbet. It was all a perfect ending to an incredible dinner with a magnificent view. This is a great place for a special dinner. Request the harbour view seating area.

We came in a night before Anzac Day to find the restaurant closed. We got a wonderful table ordered dinner and drinks for us and two guests that were arriving. When our friends arrived they were told the bar was at capacity and that they could not enter. They ended up standing on the other side of a glass while for :30 minutes while food and drinks sat on t our table. Pizza is a bad choice but the beer is great even a NA !

Come for the view and the beer, but don't expect much from the food or service. This spot we recommended by the awesome concierge at The Langham Hotel, Jonathan. No fault to him because he nailed what we were looking for: something simple and outside, near the water, to enjoy a beautiful Autumn afternoon in Sydney. This spot is directly opposite the opera house and near the ferry terminal, and is very good for enjoying lunch watching the boats and gazing upon a global icon. For drinks and food, you find a table and order at the bar, where they give you a number for your table to identify where to deliver your order. When I ordered at the bar I also asked for a few napkins to wipe the table down of the food remnants from the prior guests. The bartended didn't seem to think this was odd when he obliged, so I assume they delegate table cleaning duties to the paying customers...what a deal for them. We ordered two fish and chips and one mushroom gnocchi. I rather enjoyed the fish and chips, expect we didn't receive mushroom gnocchi, despite that being the order that was repeated to me at the counter. What we received some sort of gnocchi covered a tomato sauce. It was completely inedible, tasting only of excessive salt and acid. Gross. It was also served on some weird kids meal plate, despite my wife having ordered it and there being no indication of a kids meal on any menu. The outside tables are not cleared quickly, which means the seagulls are always hovering around and swooping for scraps as people leave. Only partially the fault of the restaurant -- they can't control the gulls but they can clear the plates faster. So three of us, and the gulls, shared two fish and chips. Why didn't we receive what we ordered? I'll never know. Enjoyed the overall experience but I won't be back here to try again. Unless I'm just after a beer in the sun and near the water.

I really enjoyed coming here for a drink in a lively atmosphere, with STUNNING views of the opera house and the bridge (pictured). The beer was fantastic, I was especially partial to the Nine Tails amber ale. It was smooth, with a great mix of sweet and earthy flavors. This James Squire guy knows how to brew! The space is pretty massive, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, mostly at communal tables. But there's really an option for everyone, whether you're with a big group, a friend or two, or flying solo. Even with the big space (and correspondingly big crowd on a Friday night), getting a drink at the bar wasn't too hard. Bartenders were good about keeping things moving. I'll definitely come back for another dozen beers during my time in Sydney!

The view was great and the live music was awesome. We got the prawn pizza & it was extremely thin, soggy, and undercooked. For $33, we were very disappointed...

Great way to start the week after walk along the harbor with a nice Shiraz and Bloody Mary. Spectacular view. Order at the bar and enjoy the boats passing and happy people strolling on the dock.

Gorgeous location. Cannot beat it! Just came in for a quick drink on the lower patio area. Overlooks the bay and the bridge and opera house. Worth it just for the view. Our drinks were also very good. I got the gin lavender gimlet. Beautiful presentation with lavender on top. Hubby got a good stout beer which we hadn't found anywhere else in Sydney. Service was nice. You walk up to order and choose your own seat so it's quite casual. They also had a great band playing. The woman singing was amazing. Just a great vibe all together for drinks and entertainment.
