I would say it's probably the most family orientated pub on the coast.There's a wide variety of what I call everyday drinks and the prices are very reasonable. Try a meal there,they do lovely food which again is reasonably priced and always tasty. The staff are very nice and helpful and there is a good sized car park too. As its very busy of a weekend the place is often untidy with beer spills on tables and empty glasses left laying around. Don't risk the real ales if you are used to a good pint as it's terrible here! Which is especially disappointing for a company priding itself on using locally sourced ales. Breakfasts are ok and are the only thing other than crisps, nuts and the occasional plate of chips that I will eat here. 3 out of 5 due to being a good place to start off and meet up with a good selection of draft beers, lagers and fully stocked bar.

They were unfortunately out of fish and chips. So we bought a drink. There was a fish place across the street so we asked the Bartender to allow us to eat some in the sidewalk dining area which he allowed. The drinks were great, we ordered a second, as we're the fish and chips. Next visit we hope to try this establishment's fish and chips.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. My brother had Steak and ale pie and I had fish and chips. The portions were generous and the food tasty. The priory cask ale is both flavorful and smooth. I see they have live music on the weekends as well. We would definitely go back.
