I'm not sure whether this business followed me first, but I am a fan of local record stores. This one is on Broadview Avenue, just south of Gerrard Street East. This store sells records (the kids these days call 'em vinyl) and t-shirts. I like both, but it would take a special purchase for me to visit this store. That moment happened. I saw this business recently go through fixing its flooring. I was finally going to see and step foot on it! To make a long story shorter, Pet Shop Boys (PSB) sent out an e-mail stating that it has re-released its Discography album that covers all singles between 1985 through 1991, inclusive. This release is special because the two records are transparent blue in colour. Fans could order this album out of the UK. I recently ordered Literally, PSB's yearly book about the duo's reflections and experiences. That book shipped from London and I still ended up with a dented book corner on a hard book cover. I had little faith having a two-record album shipped safely from London to the greater Toronto area. I dismissed ordering it. I was late to the party (the usual) when I saw Pop Music's IG post stating that it had limited copies of this PSB album. I checked its online site and all copies were gone. However, I could sign up to get notified when the album was back in stock. I signed up. A few days later, I got word that the album was available for purchase. I was elated. I immediately ordered the album and paid online. I chose to pick it up at the store, as I was due to revisit Chinatown east. Last Saturday, after fetching groceries, I headed down to Chinatown. I found a tight parking spot on Broadview, across from this store. It took me a bit of time to squeeze my car into this spot by carefully parallel parking without annoying vehicles and streetcars passing by. I did it. I paid for twenty minutes of parking. I felt that it was enough time to browse and fetch my order, and perhaps hit a bakery. I paid through the Green P app. I jaywalked and entered the store. It had a good crowd of eight customers. A female staffer perhaps thirty feet away from me made the deliberate effort to say hi to me and establish friendly eye contact. I reciprocated. I loved being here already. I was in front of graphic t-shirts of bands and artists. I was thrilled to see Depeche Mode's Violator t-shirt screaming my name. It's one of my favourite DM records, with Enjoy the Silence being my favourite song on it. Sizes ranged between small and XXL. I was happy and got one in my size. It was great browsing. The assortment of music genres, all in record form, was impressive. I loved seeing a Prince cap. It was his heavenly birthday when I was in this store. I also liked seeing David Bowie socks and a lot more. I waited in line. When it was my turn, I showed my order number on my phone and broke the ice with the nice woman with this comment: "I'm here to pick up an online order. I then saw this t-shirt, so I'm buying it, too." She smiled and then laughed. She found my order in the system and went to fetch my PSB album. I learned ordering online that I was signed up for reward points. You get a point for every $1 spent. You get a discount off your future purchase depending on how many points you have. What was cool was that my album dropped in price by $5 after I had made my purchase online. She was going to honour that price by giving me $5 off my t-shirt. Yay! I earned reward points on my t-shirt. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. She asked if I needed a bag. I declined, as I was parked across the street, and was fine carrying my precious limited edition album with my t-shirt. I wished her a great day and happily left with my goodies. I have this PSB album on CD. It's nice that I have the translucent blue vinyl edition, too. I played both records at home. The quality was excellent. The blue vinyl is cheerful and striking. I had a chat with the person behind the Pop Vinyl IG account later that evening. They were playing this album in the store. It shows how passionate they are about music and their products. I also like that they interact with their customers. I love my Violator t-shirt. It's comfy and perfect. I bought two items from a duo and band that were popular at roughly the same time. Both British. Both into synthesizers. Both having music endure over the decades. They are awesome, as is this store and the fine records and merchandise that it offers. I'm a fan. Mega shop dedicated to the wild outdoors…read more Bass Pro Shops in Vaughan Mills feels at times more like an attraction than a retail store. Beside annual free Santa Claus photos, the store features several neat displays and plenty of animal displays to bring the outdoor theme to life. While you can't miss the huge outdoor entrance, it's the interior mall entrance where you're greeted with massive bear statues, a fish pond and a large stone-encased aquarium filled with local fish species. With a selection ranging from fishing supplies, to camping gear to boating equipment, Bass Pro Shops has a cottage feel while shopping within the GTA. Prices are indeed a bit steep compared to other sporting goods stores but here you can even find hunting supplies such as archery bows. Staff can be quite friendly although we tended to explore the massive shop ourselves. In one corner, you can find a coin-operated shooting gallery where you can aim the laser at interactive targets. Skip it or hit it? It's a neat feature of Vaughan Mills that's worth exploring if you have time to kill.

Nothing could be further than the truth. After a soul-defeating in-store shop (3 hours drive back and forth), I looked actively for a Sales Associate to help with a large purchase with many different items. No one - not one person (staff) was available, and I left after an hour as my dog was dehydrated and had to do her thing. I was told in email to order online by making sure the selected products were available and in-stock. I built my (rather large) shopping cart accordingly, checked out, and now I've received one email from Bass Pro acknowledging the order, abd informing me that it's "being processed". I scheduled a fishing trip with my boys knowing I had the right equipment ready for me to pickup en route. However, upon speaking to a BassPro manager, my irder is going to take "1-2 weeks" to arrive at the shop - despite the website explicitly saying these products were IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE FOR PUCKUP SELECTED STORE...". And yes, I chose the fight store lol. The Managers answer to my problem was for me to go again in person to BassPro (Vaughan), buy duplicates of everything I already bought but am waiting for, then when my online order is ready in 2 weeks, ask for a refund. What???? Unbelievable. Buy from Canadian business - this store thinks it can just take your money through lies and deceit, aka "False Advertising". And thanks for throwing a wrench in my fishing trip - much appreciated . If u could give it à "0 Star" rating, I would.

It's very European in terms of style and their store in QC was very well lit. Let's focus on their expansion in Yorkdale. It's just as well lit and modern. We came here on their opening weekend. It was packed and lively! We walked in and we were greeted with smiles from the service team. Their selection is amazing, lots of brands I haven't seen before. Yet, on a lot of their tags I saw these two words: sustainability and recycled. I haven't seen that with high end brand. It gives off a good vibe about their focus on sustainability and their corporate responsibility. Kudos to these guys.

They actually reopened at this new location at 1006 Dundas St. W. late May this year. I remember visiting their old location closer to Ossington where the space was definitely smaller. This new location is bigger where there is also coffee and treats that you can grab (with some seating inside!). I stopped by Saudade on a Thurs morning to grab a coffee. The display of treats was mighty tempting and I did get a pastel de nata as well. For my drink I opted for an iced Americano which was made well. Service was great and staff let me take my time with deciding what to order. The new location and space is beautiful. When you walk in the coffee bar is to your left while on your right...there are cases filled with Portuguese products that you can purchase. You are also free to open the cases to look at things as well. Towards the back of the store there are books as well as a more hidden room filled with pottery. There are several tables to enjoy your beverages if you'd like to stay. The space is airy, bright, and cozy at the same time. It's a beautiful store where you can sip on your coffee while browsing all the products they offer. Overall, a beautiful new space! Will definitely return to grab more coffee as well as gifts in the future!

Thankfully it was resolved easily, but it's something they should pay closer attention to. Overall, still a good shopping experience. A must stop for any hockey fan!

Ticket prices fluctuate depending on the game, but overall I find them pretty decent. For popular giveaway days, definitely arrive early. Our game started at 3 PM, but people were already lining up before noon. My most recent visit was for Hello Kitty Day, where they were giving away 15,000 Halloween Hello Kitty figurines with bobble arms. The gates opened at 1 PM and everyone started pushing forward to get in, but it wasn't too bad. They had cases of the figurines ready at the entrance, and I managed to get one! Once inside, we lined up for the Hello Kitty caricatures. The wait was around an hour, with seven artists working at the same time. Each artist had a different drawing style, and you couldn't really choose who you got. But it's free, and the artists really take their time to capture your details. I think this was the best booth! There were also several Hello Kitty areas throughout the venue with temporary tattoos, balloons, nails, hair clips, bow making, an apple toss, and other activities. A lot of them came with small freebies, so I managed to collect quite a few things throughout the day. There was also plenty of merch available, although it was fairly expensive. For food, there are plenty of food and drink options throughout the stadium, although most of the vendors seemed to have similar options. We had Italian sausage hot dogs this time, and they were pretty much as expected. On my first visit, I tried one of their foot-long hot dogs. The food is definitely pretty expensive, but it's part of the experience, so you do it for the culture at least once. I don't know baseball rules too well, but there's such a great vibe being there that it's still really enjoyable. The stadium is well laid out, the staff are helpful and friendly, and we had a great view of the entire game from our seats. The atmosphere was really good and everyone around us was chill. Overall, I've had a good time during both visits and would definitely come back for another game or special event.

It was coinciding with FIFA, CDN vs SUI in Vancity last June. We sat in section 214, greats seats ... They opened the dome. The mascots were featured throughout the game on the field and up in the sections during the game. It was wonderful to be there and see all the heroes from the previous World Series dream-run. Then around the 3rd inning got up and walked around and explored the new renovations. So different when we used to come to 25+ games in the '92-95 years. I was great to walk around and see the game from so many vantages: home plate, first base, left field from the 100s; up on the skydeck which has the atmosphere of a house party on the 500s ... We got back to our seats around the 8 inning with food brisket and nachos and a sandwich and they were delicious! Even those lost, was exciting and loved every minute.
