A unique quaint spice shop! When you walk in the aroma is outstanding. They have local spices and spices from around the world all nicely labeled. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a pretty neat store right off the main road. It's very easy to find, as you can see the sign from the main road. If you're looking for anything having to do with spices, this is your place. They have really interesting flavored salts. They have spicy spices and other spices from around the world that are unique and hard to find. I like that you can buy just a little packet of what you want instead of having to buy a large package. What if you end up not liking it. They also have nice sets of spices that are somewhat themed, like different flavored salts. They also have jars of things and cutting boards and specialty pastas that would make nice gifts. There is even a "local" section of products. The lady working was nice and helpful, a few other people came in while we were browsing. Definitely a cool place to visit if you're in the area.

Friends wanted me to check out this spot because they know how much I love to cook. Very small spice spot. Carrying so many different varieties of spices. I bought Jamaican Charqui. I was surprise they had if. They also sell their house made pesto. So I bought two of those for dinner that night at the ranch. And made salmon with the Jamaican Charqui Spice which turned out really good. Just a tad sweet. The house made pesto here is very delicious. I would definitely buy it again. Matter of fact left the other one at the ranch. I hope it's still there when I get back in a few days. Over all, make sure to visit this place, when in the area. Prices are a bit higher, but worth it.

Cute store! 174 spices from all over the world.

Very neat little store! Who'd thunk you can get spices from all over the world could be found here in Murphy. Very neat display and the owner is knowledgeable and friendly that he will show you what spices are good for which kind of cooking and new recipe and tips for BBQ. We purchased Hungarian paprika (1oz package) and Bourbon Peppercorn Steak Slather in a bottle that we are looking to try at our next BBQ. I also found "seven spices (shichimi to-garashi)" from Japan, which was very fresh ( I can find it from Japanese grocery stores but they are usually dry and stale). Don't be shy, just ask the guy how to spice up your next meal and he'll give you a good pointer.

She is amazing and made my life extra easy by taking time to record the sticker information for each baggie of tea after I filled them. Being a senior citizen, I enjoy a little pampering now and then. I am thankful that staff regularly deliver a nurturing vibe and seem happy to help. And I have to rave, yet again, about Alyssa's astounding art talent; seen inside and outside the store. What a gift, the latest being an incredibly adorable and cleverly designed large mailbox out front with a farm theme. Between her, and Erin's creativie touch - one of the owners, the place exudes deep relaxation and being immersed in nature.

I guess she didn't think that I was their mother maybe she thought I was a sibling because I do look quite Young my husband had to leave me behind in the fires because he's the one that flies the helicopters that fight fires sometimes. He's supposed to fly today that's why he had to leave me early this morning and couldn't wait for me to follow behind because he had a training flight day and night goggle visions tonight. So i took a detour to get back home would have been us going to Murphy's and going around. I wanted a pound of chocolate but I couldn't see how much it was per pound I think it was $14 dollars for half a pound but my eyes were burning and I didn't have glasses so I couldn't see I didn't even get a half pound or a full pound and then after I picked my chocolates she kept coughing over my chocolates I don't understand such a sweet little old lady why would she be not very pleasant to someone that's buying chocolates to make a happy day for someone. I'm a military wife just trying to make the best days out of days that are not so happy. I still ate the chocolate even though she coughed on them Lol I have an immune system problem and if she was sick I could get very sick because I have a weak immune system. I was ready to spend $100 cash but my older son pulled me away and said let's go mom because i was acting like a little girl in the candy shop not paying attention how rudely I was being treated. maybe you should remember making treats and candies are supposed to be a pleasant thing because when you cook you cook with love and generosity to show love towards others that's the model that i live by. because that's how our heavenly father teaches us to be kind to others.

For a dollar, you can taste a total of 6 flavors of balsamic vinegars or olive oils. They also have different varieties of pastas with assorted flavors. We had a new person helping us out and he got the order wrong. By the time i got home, it was way to late to return it. Lesson learn, I should have checked the wrap up bottles. I had been there many times and it's the first time that it happened. The place is bright and clean. The people are friendly. I just hope the prices don't keep going up and the bottles don't get any smaller.

We went into many of the shops in the town of Murohy and we did not have a bad experience. This particular store was ran by one woman and she was kept busy. Since I was there with a bridal party, we decided to do a taste testing which is relatively cheap. She'll give you a clipboard and you get to choose six different types of either oil or vinaigrette. And if you'd like you can purchase a little bag of bread to dip which I highly recommend. If you like any of the flavors that you've chosen, you can then purchase a full bottle. This was a new experience for me. I had never tried something like this before and was pleasantly surprised. I ended up purchasing a bottle of the traditional vinaigrette. I would definitely go back to Murphy's just for this experience as well as the other shops in the area but this particular location was really nice. Outside there was a seating area and a pretty little garden nearby which added to the ambiance and overall experience of the taste testing.
