It had some refreshing fruity notes and was a great choice. I ordered the orange chicken. It was well done and definitely good, although it didn't quite have that "wow" factor. My buddy ordered the small nachos with added beef, and those were absolutely the way to go! The "small" size was huge, loaded with toppings, and packed with flavor. I sampled a few and would definitely recommend them. There wasn't any live music on Friday night when we visited, but it looks like they have live music fairly often throughout the week, which would be a fun bonus. Service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. If you're in Custer, this is definitely a place worth checking out!

As soon as we walked in, I noticed how organized these folks were. Since my husband had suggested it, I already had an idea of the background I wanted with "Old West" clothes, but that was it. The staff took care of the rest on such short notice. (We walked in at almost closing time.) It helped that our 3 and 4-year-olds both love to dress up and have their pictures taken. We also brought in my husband's service dog. She did great. We love our framed photos. All of our visitors have noticed them and gotten a few good laughs out of them too. That's what we wanted! The owner and her employees are the sweetest! Definitely an issue with asthma. We opened the window to let some air in but the blaring train horns were too loud to sleep. There were dirty towels still hanging in the bathroom and a couple of spiders comfortably camped out in there. The water had a strong odor. The beds were ok, pillows were comfy. However, I woke with dozens of spider bites all over me. There is no staff on duty to talk to, just a phone number to call and everything is done over the phone. We would have left to stay somewhere else but the only other hotel was full and we were too tired to drive to the next town. We definitely should have pushed through to keep going. I am not someone to usually leave a bad review but I couldn't let someone else stay here without giving a fair warning.
